Do not rent from this company. They work with a fraudulent debt collection to scam you out of your money. I rented a car and returned everything was good. Months later collection agency starts harassing me saying I owe an unpaid ticket. I gave up and paid it a week later rather than hustling for less than 200$. After a while when I check my credit report. Their is a huge drop in score and a debt showing not paid and this not an isolated incident when I went to the collection agency reviews it's filled with stories like mine all doomed because they rented from enterprise. I stopped into this Enterprise during my trip to Toronto back in December (12/17/2018). They were the only location left with any vehicles, and they had reasonable rates. I booked a standard economy vehicle to take to Niagara Falls for the day. Usually, an Economy car is classified as a Volkswagen Jetta or similar. In my mind, I thought, "oh maybe a Nissan Sentra or something." The reason being the last few times I have gotten a Nissan Sentra with Enterprise and had no issues. I was surprised when I got to the Enterprise because first, they showed me a small red car - which no offense looks like a vehicle you would give a kid who just got their permit. I thought maybe a Sentra or even an SUV. While the associate was helping me suddenly stated, " I'm so sorry my manager just told me I actually could not give you an SUV because you do not meet the age requirement." This statement was odd because I have also rented SUVs from Enterprise in the past and had no issue. Maybe it is a difference between Canadian and American Enterprise policy? So I was then given the little red car which was a Nissan Micra. Because of the time and what not that was taken up, he was kind enough to give me a discount on the rental because the Micra is similar to a Mirage, which is a tiny car. Although the rental was not ideal for shopping and bringing stuff to and from Niagara Falls, it got us from Point A to Point B which is all that matters. Finding the location can be difficult, I think I went in circles twice trying to find the Enterprise - but returning the vehicle is no issue. read more

I've always used Enterprise rent a car. Never had an issue until flight was cancelled at 8 am and rescheduled for 10pm . Called to arrange a late pick up and their customer service in some shit hole, badly trained office would cancelled my rental which was booked in July at $470 for a week and rebooked it with a later pickup for $1200 a week. The customer service rep couldn't do anything even though I had emails with correct amount and information. Rude, unhelpful, badly trained useless customer service line. Spoke to several people and nobody could fix it. Told someone would call me back never happened. Wouldn't get a manager on line. Never rent from them again. They should stop telling me I cancelled the rental and get people who can do the simplest job correctly. I simply was letting them know I was picking up the rental late. I didn't realize Air Canada fucking up would cause a chain reaction. I am very disappointed in their flawed uncaring service. read more

I rented a car three months ago and still didn't get my $300 deposit back. It was at 330 Steeles Ave W unit B1 Vaughan, Toronto. Was in the office twice and was told that everything would be fine....still didn't get money. It is said that this company regularly delays the return of money. Came here to return a car that I got from another location. I'm sure some other places would have allowed me to drop off the car after hours, but felt safer with a person. To get to their parking, it's on the north side of Front Street after Simcoe (you'll see a sign). Go all the way down to P3 and you'll find their parking spaces. Go to their offices on the C level. After 7pm, the entire place is pretty empty and all the sales guys run up and down leaving the offices empty on occasion. I never understood why all Enterprise sales folk are half ambitious men who like to dress in businesswear. Anyway, I was disappointed when I called and asked if they could drive me home to St George and Bloor and he asked me where it was. I couldn't really answer. Then they also said they don't drive people home past Dundas. (strange, bc I could walk there). When I got to the store, they told me it was past 6pm and because they had too little people, they can't drive people. I thought it was their policy. Anyway, they are open 8am and are downtown, so it's a great option to go. And the subway isn't too far away. Just a note, you would be better off going up the escalators and exiting to Simcoe and walking to union or St. Andrew. Instead I tried to navigate the path and walked a bit in circles. I am surprised by all the negative reviews. My experience with Enterprise, especially the Simcoe Place location, has always been positive. All the staff are very polite and professional which is the reason for my preference to rent from this location even though there are closer locations to my home. From my experience with different rental companies, Enterprise has always been honest about costs and I have never had problems after my rental with unexpected fees. In contrast, another car rental company attempted to swindle more money out of me due to "damages" that were already on their vehicle before I took the car. While their rates aren't always the lowest compared to other companies, I'd rather pay a bit more to have a piece of mind that they won't penalize you later on for "damages" because you decided to opt out of insurance. read more

Received a call the day before rent as a reminder. Not my usual rental location. Chose location for two reasons open until 8 pm on Friday and key drop box. Staff friendly as has been my experience with Enterprise in general. Be sure you clearly understand key drop box purpose. Will use location again if heading out of town straight from work. read more

I used Enterprise to rent a car so we could visit Niagara Falls while in Toronto, and was surprised by how easy and seamless the whole process was. The location was conveniently located in the heart of downtown, easy to find, and returning the car was also a breeze. The service was also excellent, in particular, Vlada (the nice person who helped us) also made recommendations about sights to see on the way to Niagara. Great Service and convenient!. My family recently flew into Toronto's Billy Bishop Airport. The Airport is downtown and extremely easy to get to, but currently there are no onsite car rental companies. Enter Enterprise! Book your car from their Front street location (about 2 km away from the airport) When you are about to get on the ferry, call them, and they will pick you up! I have four children, so they picked us up in the minivan we were about to rent. This meant that we didn't have to unpack our luggage once the paperwork was complete. On the return, they did the same. They dropped us off at the airport. I booked the car through Costco Travel so the price was also great. They were extremely helpful and efficient. Traveling with 6 people, four children under age 10, has its challenges. Enterprise definitely took away some of the bumps. read more

It is a complete scam! Don't rent cars from them! Went to get the car and it was filthy dirty inside and out, gas was below 1/2. I was coming back late for 2mins and they charged me $25 extra for late return! $25 is even more than I paid for the entire rental. Wonder how they make money with such low hourly rates? Had booked the enterprise car at 10am, I got late to pick it up and showed around 11am as my brother got sick and had to rush him to hospital in the process got late to pick the car on time. When I showed at 11am I was told that my booked vehicle was given to someone else who showed up on time. Which makes no sense. i politely asked them it would nice if they could give a courtesy call to the customer who has booked a vehicle and is running late just to make sure that if he or she is coming or not. They have done that in the past (may be they were not busy at that time) and when they are busy they don't give a damn about who is coming or not as their vehicles are being rented and they are making money/commission. Instead the male person at the counter told me that I should have called them. Instead of trying to solve or giving me a logocal explanation he put the blame on me not know what I had gone through before coming there. I had some important meeting to attend to in the GTA for which I got late. next time I will keep in mind that we customer doesn't matter much to them and they are the boss and we have to go as per their law and policy. Never experienced this at the enterprise. I would not recommend this location to anyone specially because of poor customer service from a man who was busy and didn't give a damn about a regular customer, why he got late and what plans he had made that day. Truly exceptional service. I have rented here about 6 times over the last 9 months or so, and every time the staff have been friendly, accommodating, and generous. My most recent rental was a great case in point. I always book the cheapest possible category through Kayak, Hotwire, Priceline, etc. Even though they could have given me a little Hyundai Accent, because I am a repeat renter and the price was so low, they put me in a brand new Camry, a car two or three categories higher, at the same price. When I returned the car early, they reduced my rental charge. I've never had that happen before: other companies and locations have always said, "Tough luck, you booked it for longer." Not here: I didn't even ask for the reduction and the provided it unprompted. I also came back with way more fuel in the tank than was necessary. I mentioned it, and they gave me a very generous credit. Again, I've asked elsewhere, but I've never seen this happen. All in all, a very fair, very client-oriented location, that charges very fair prices with a variety of good, new cars. I can't say enough good things.
