The site was a gravel base which was nice but, the electric outlet was way in the back and the water spicket was way in the front, on the wrong side. I've never seen a site set up like that before. It was very tricky getting the RV in just the right spot so that electric cord would reach, but I couldn't get the hose to reach so I ended up borrowing a hose extension.

The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. They ARE very pet friendly, (we have two cats and a dog) you just have to clean up after your pets and keep them on a leash. The bathrooms are clean and air-conditioned. The grounds are very well maintained and they have pump out service for a small fee (if you get a site that doesn't have septic) and RV service and repair. They installed our new air conditioner and did a fantastic job. They also have fun events here. We will be staying here every time we come to Ohio. Don't be fooled by a poor review. This park is awesome. You should definitely check it out.

Especially Kevin. When I first started checking in, he did so while moonlighting as a painter, and handy man. I thought he owned the franchise because he has always been warm, friendly and committed to this property and me as a customer. When I mentioned that, he corrected me ensuring that "he is not an owner" which surprised me because I have only been treated as well by owners of franchises. I could only reply "Then they are very lucky to have you!". Thank you Motel 6 Sidney OH owners and Kevin for about 10 years of "keeping a light on for me" and providing a comfortable, clean, safe and economical place to sleep.

Expect to eat, sleep, and breath aviation for the time you spend here, and you will excel. Fabio was amazing for the ground instruction. It can be hard to sit for 8 hours a day to learn all the required ground knowledge, but Fabio had a way to make those days just fly by and I learned so much from him. The flight instruction was also very well structured in my opinion with at least one flight a day, multiple flights when the schedule permits. Justin and Jaedoo were fantastic flight instructors, and I could tell they cared about my success and progress through the course. I was able to complete the CFI course including the check ride in 11 days, spending most days at the airport for 10-12 hours studying and preparing myself. That party scene just wasn't for us. The site we got was 46 literally next to the dump station, like 15 feet. I don't think many people left while we were there so it didn't have a big impact. That's also where the water is located so if we needed to fill that would have been easy to do without moving. The park is much bigger than expected with playground, game areas, mini golf, kayak rentals available, beach, etc. There wasn't much info provided during check in on these so we didn't know they were available until it was too late to use. Would have been nice to know so we could plan our days a bit better. Overall it was a great decision for us but if we weren't occupied by the concerts all weekend there wouldn't have been much in the area to do.
