However, when loading our RV, there was a dirty wash cloth stuck in a drawer and human hair under the mattress. After correcting my contact information, Fairfield sent drop off info to the wrong number, final invoice to the wrong email, then got quite snippy because we did not follow the directions that we never received. When trying to resolve the issue, the Fairfield representative became frustrated, said she was hanging up, oddly had the correct phone to text me a message to contact her supervisor but refused to give me her superviser's number. If you choose Cruise America, pick up in a different city!!

As being new to RV'ing - we had some anxiety about how things would go. RV Life Is Good staff were patient, informative, flexible, and accommodating. They did several things above and behind as it related to checking the vehicle in and out. We recommend them without reservation and encourage other first timers to give an RV vacation a try! It proved to provide excellent family time, the hours on the road were far more enjoyable, and we even took our golden retriever- which is not the case for most other vacations. While we would not want to own an RV in light of all that would go into that, renting was the perfect fit for us to have the experience without the long term commitment.

Frustrating and Dishonest Sales Experience…read more I recently tried to work with Forest River of Dayton / Camping World of Piqua regarding a 2024 Jayco unit, and the experience was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, I was told pricing for the "Used RV Fest" would be released that weekend and that the sale price would be lower than what was online. I followed up multiple times--each time being told to "check tomorrow," then later that pricing wouldn't be available until Thursday, contradicting everything they had previously stated. Instead of providing a simple, straightforward price as promised, I was passed between messages, told a manager would call (which I never requested), and still received no clear answer. Every response felt like a deflection or stall tactic. I even referenced their own messages where they said the event pricing would be out that weekend--no accountability, just excuses. After several polite attempts to clarify, I finally had to ask to be removed from their marketing list. Only after I said I'd leave a review did someone suddenly offer "$1,000 off." By that point, the trust was gone. This kind of bait-and-delay approach gives the entire dealership a bad name. I've worked in sales and management for years--honesty and follow-through matter. If you value your time and integrity, I suggest you look elsewhere for your RV purchase.
