awful customer service. I called over on multiple occasions for an incorrect claim, being told management would call me and reach out. They never call, even when i call again and again. Finally got through to management and they tell me there is nothing they can do as the issue happened months ago. Very frustrating and disappointing. I had my SUV in the shop for collision work. Hertz dropped the ball and claimed that they had no record of my rental appointment and that they didn't have a rental for me. West-Herr Collision said that Enterprise had a vehicle for me. Someone was nice enough to pick me up from the collision shop. They had a very small Mitsubishi for me to use. I think Ryan or Gregory had helped me call the insurance company and ended up placing me with the small car, It had just been detailed, which was nice. I thought I would be okay but I felt very unsafe with all of the potholes in my area. I didn't want to damage the vehicle so I traded it in a few days later for a Corolla. The employees here were very nice at the initial pickup and when I stopped by to trade it in for a larger vehicle. My SUV needed service work at the dealership so I drove the rental there. Someone from the collision shop drove the rental back to Enterprise. I was very thankful for that. I called today and spoke with Trinity about a toll that was charged to my card. She couldn't see it in their system so I had to call another number. They couldn't help so I was given a third number, which I didn't have time to call yet. I'm hoping I can get the service fee taken off because that's a might high charge. Anyway, the employees here are great and I'm happy with my whole experience. Disappointed. WHY offer rentals on your website if you don't have any. Your website shows availability for every type of car. I reserved one the day of since it was at such a convenient location only the be called a while later to say you don't have any availability at all and you're completely sold out. read more

Winter time- windshield had small crack on passenger side - now the windows where filthy and never seen the crack until I had someone in the passenger seat - so reported it and there making me get them a windshield- I did t break it and if you clean your cars maybe I would have seen it but I sought it since you didn't see it with the filth .. read more

Referred to Enterprise by my insurance company (Liberty Mutual) after being rear-ended while parked in a parking lot. Of course the person who hit me took of without leaving any information. The people working here were very efficient and friendly. All steps involved in the rental were explained as well as all of the available options such as addition insurances. No hard sell, just information. Since I drove a pickup a pickup truck was provided as the rental. The Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel was unimpressive but that's not Enterprise's fault. The provided vehicle was clean inside but fairly dirty outside with lots of debris in the bed. Our agent walked around the vehicle for the inspection before we left. The return was just as easy and just as quick. Different employees were on shift but the efficiency and friendliness was still there. A quick check of the vehicle and we were on our way. FOLLOWUP: Got a call from an Enterprise rep (Local) on June 4, 2021, offering an upgrade (which I get anyways, but didn't with the rental in question). Also offered a whopping 5% discount on my next rental...LOL So their resolve is to give me an upgrade offer, which I am offered all the time, and didn't get in the first place. So, nobody from corporate followed up. They tossed the followup back to the local office. None of the issues were addressed, and I'm not a happy Enterprise customer. read more

Rented a large SUV to accommodate out of town guests for the weekend. After having 2 reservations canceled for lack of availability, we rented here 25 min from home. When I picked up the vehicle, the gas warning light was on. The associate said he would just mark it as empty. After insisting they fill it, I followed them to the station to be given a half tank! In the morning, the low tire light was on. The back rear tire was worn and needed replacement. We had to watch it the remainder of the day. Disappointing experience. read more

Can't explain how easy, efficient, friendly & accommodating Enterprise was. Had to make the hike to Florida during the pandemic & was worried about renting a car - no need to worry! They had everything so clean I was more concerned about getting it dirty before returning it. I ended up returning earlier than expected & Enterprise refunded me the days I booked that I didn't need. Worst experience ever!!!! Rented a car for a weekend in July was charged for a recurring monthly lease in August. Had to go through corporate to get the unauthorized lease removed. They had me in the wrong car and charged me $62 more than the receipt. The manger Nick's response was , "It was a computer glitch". I had to cancel my credit card because of his computer glitch. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!. For the last 2 months I have to keep fighting to get a credit. I am phoning Corporate tomorrow to take care of this once and for all. read more

To begin with I never will rent from anyone other than Enterprise. I've used others and have had nothing but issues especially with Hertz. I needed a car to go to my daughters wedding in Alabama and Hertz offered me a great deal. That great deal ended up with a hold on my card for over $600 and no rental. Enterprise was able to get me in a vehicle right away and off I went. That was in November. In the beginning of the month I rented a car from Enterprise to get to my sons wedding in South Carolina it was a Saturday morning about an hour into the drive my eyes were itching and I couldn't stop sneezing the back seats were not vacuumed and covered with cat hair which I'm highly allergic to. There was still 14 hours left to drive.... I ended up having the inside of the car cleaned and had to get a prescription for an inhaler and eye drops which was more money.... this was the first time I ever had a problem with renting from Enterprise and for future reference I'll check the rental more thoroughly before I pull away. They offered to take care of me next time I rent from them which they took a little off my next rental but the amount wasn't even near what it cost me in cleaning the car, my prescriptions and otc meds and time wasted because the car wasn't cleaned .... all in all I've been renting with Enterprise for many years and I'd say out of about 20 rentals in the past two years this the the only time I ever had a problem..... I have rented from the camp rd and southwestern locations and I prefer the southwestern site the employees are knowledgeable and friendlier read more

Needed a one-way rental from Orchard Park, NY to Cleveland to pick up my new car. Had the driver pick me up and he was a little late due to bad weather. By the time we got to my local Enterprise, they were technically closed, but they waited until I got there because they knew I was coming. Upgraded me from full-size Camry to large Nissan SUV for no additional fee just for my inconvenience! Unheard of customer service! VERY PLEASED! Dropping the rental off in Cleveland took a total of about 5 minutes too. Will ALWAYS use Enterprise!! read more

I transitioned from Hertz to Enterprise and I have been extremely satisfied with every aspect of this organization. I always receive a clean, low mileage vehicle and never have to wait a long time to get in and out. I rent A TON for work (over 200 rental days annually) and I can honestly say that Elliott and his Team are first rate. I made a reservation through them and called for a pick up. They were 45 min late and I called to see where they were. They told me a different branch is going to take care of it, then 10 minutes later I get a call from the new branch to hear they just received a call and they will be on their way. So this place has horrible communication skills and they don't want to deal with customers. Shame on them. read more

I had to rent a car to take my 88 year old mother to the emergency room for a broken wrist because she was unable to get up into my truck. . When I explained the situation to the representative, Drew made an effort to find a car that would be easy for her to get in and out of. He was so nice and helpful that I rented from them a second time for her follow up appt. and will keep renting from them for all her future appointments. The first time that I rented here, I was treated like a queen. This time, I felt more like an ugly step-sister. The car was not clean, inside or out. Garbage on the floor in the back. The inside of the windshield was dirty to the point of being distracting while driving! The Toyota Corolla is a poorly designed car. My colleagues in the back seat complained of no head room causing neck and back pain. It was very awkward to reach the drink holder while driving. I wasn't impressed this time. Having rental coverage on my insurance, I decided to take advantage after hitting a deer that took our the left front side of my car as well as the headlight. Arranged for a pickup from the Orchard Park location as I would have to take the driver back and I had an appointment about 1/2 mile up the road from them. Pick-up time was 3:45, 25 minutes later I called their office to be told that it would be dispatched from the Hamburg branch as they were closer! (Hamburg office 21.4 miles, Orchard Park office 23.5 miles) This was never communicated to me, no apology, just, "call the Hamburg office." Called that office to be told that they had not yet gotten approval from the insurance company! Again, as I gave them my Insurance claim number and got a confirmation number from Enterprise, no-one ever said anything about that! So now I'm already running late for my appointment and I'm asked if I would like them to send a driver out as soon as one becomes available?!! or would I like to reschedule? I'm out-of-town for work and their careless, horrible customer service and non-existent communication skills cost me. I took time off work to make this happen and have to reschedule everything. then to top things off, I got home later that night to find a message on my home phone from Enterprise (from 3:10pm) to confirm. I never gave them my home number, and they never tried the number I gave them when I set up the reservation, my cell number! What a stressful nightmare!!! Both locations need remedial training on customer service and communication. read more
