This is one of the worst places to rent a car. There are two customer service reps that are very…read moredisgruntled with their jobs. In fact, while the paper work was being done last week, the guy processing my rental turned to tell his co-worker and said 'I hate this job' (and I quote verbatim). I was startled to hear a service rep say that in front of a customer! Well, not quite learning my lesson, since the rental was close to the flat I am staying at, I went back for another rental this week. Pickup was at 5pm, and I reached there at 4:20. The place was deserted. The rep looked up my reservation, grunted 'your reservation is at 5pm' and just went back to staring at her monitor! I was not really expecting to get the car earlier - I was just hoping to at least get the paperwork done and wait until 5. Or at the very least she could have attempted a friendly reply. Not sure who owns this place - it bears both the Budget and Avis logos. Avoid at all costs if you can. There is a hertz nearby that has much friendlier reps.
