This is really a 1.5 star review but Yelp doesn't do half-stars, so bumped it up to a 2. I want to preface this review by stating that under our particular circumstances...at the end of the day, Enterprise did do the right thing. Unfortunately, this sadly was not the first time this has happened, but we'll gladly will give credit where credit is due. Long story short: Due to the last "bait and switch" incident, we decided it was best to reserve a Premium SUV a month in advance and add on roadside assistance and damage insurance. The day before we were supposed to pick up the vehicle, my hubs phone was blowing up. When he was finally able to call them back, it was another "bait and switch." Once again they somehow didn't have the specific vehicle we reserved. Seriously, it felt like we were in the middle of a Seinfeld episode. If you know, you know. ;-) Anyway, when my hubs asked why the Premium SUV we "reserved" was no longer available, here were some of the responses: 1. One customer extended their rental...wasn't sure when they'd return it. 2. The one Premium SUV they did have in inventory had balding tires which needed to be replaced and wouldn't be ready until 8am the next day. Sorry, but not gonna work. 3. They had a smaller SUV available, but it was a no-go - we reserved a Premium SUV because we NEEDED a Premium SUV! 3. They offered us two smaller SUV's for the price of one. Appreciate the offer, but now our crew has to split up for the sake of their mess-up? Hard pass. Anyway, they managed to get us a Premium SUV just in the nick of time and gave us a small discount because they had no time to clean/detail the interior/exterior, and believe me it was filthy! Here's the kicker. We hit the road and after our second stop for gas, a tire was rapidly losing air. Not gonna say what I'm thinking but I'm sure y'all are with me on this. I won't bore you with the details of that unexpected event, but we managed to get a new tire and were back on the road again. Enterprise did ask the tire store to invoice them, but they would not agree - apparently they've been stiffed by EP and other car rental companies in the past by doing this. When we got back home and returned the vehicle...after several discussions, Customer Service Rep (Jessica G) and Branch Manager (Alex H) were helpful, understanding and did us a solid, which we appreciated. Give you a reservation for a specific model, but then try to switch you to another, Saying they are "out," tough.

WORST company EVER! They have away our car because our flight was late and they refused to help when we were trying to get to my father's funeral! Never had I dealt with a more uncaring and stupid company! read more

Customer service was EXTREMELY rude. I walked out, about to cry. I called to ask them for a reservation. The person told me that the insurance will cover all costs. I took my car to a local Auto Body shop, a friend drove me to Enterprise. I told them my name and they found my reservation. They asked me for my drivers license. Cool. Then asked for my credit card. At that point, I was confused because the person told me that the insurance will cover everything. So I gave them my card that had maybe $12 on it. That weekend, I paid off student loans. They needed $50. I asked them if I could go to the bank and deposit a paycheck I got over the weekend. The customer service people said No. I asked if you could use my mom's card. They said No because she's not on my insurance plan. If I went to my bank and deposited my check, that they wouldn't be able to use that card after 24 hours. I work tomorrow. I have a car to drive to work. Thankfully my mom lended me her car. I was extremely upset because they never told me that I'd need to pay $50, I can't use my mom's card, and I couldn't use my card twice that day, and as I left, they didn't say "Sorry for the inconvenience" or anything. Had a reservation on 7/10/17. Was "jerked around", and could not shift gears on car supplied. Cancelled. They did drive me home. When I asked driver if he knew where a main road was, he replied "yes and no." His answer pretty much summed up the experience (jerked around). read more

If I could give it zero stars! I would !! This is absolutely zero customer service, I reserve to ensure I was to have an SUV and once I arrive they have given my SUV away.. this is terrible. The tank is not even full!!! read more

ENTERPRISE There are a couple of reasons why I gave this place a one star rating. My insurance company setup a rental for me from this location but it took them over a week+ to get me into a vehicle due to their short supply of cars. The car they provide was a 2019 Sentra which was the worst car I have ever rented due to its limited performance and cheap parts. Once I was put into a vehicle I had the vehicle for over a week and only put 50 miles of driving in that time span. I literally drove it to the grocery store and back several times. We noticed a small crack (2-3 inches) that clearly started as a pop mark a few days after renting it. I returned the vehicle in great shape minus that small blemish and was charged a total of $300 for a new windshield! I rent vehicles often for travel and have never come across something like this. The staff did not care and mentioned I was at fault. To charge me $300 for a replacement that should only cost $150 (w/o insurance) is ludicrous and makes me feel the company did as much as they could to squeeze as much money out of me as they could. I will never rent from Enterprise again and highly encourage you to take your business elsewhere. Enterprise is not even close to being the cheapest or providing the best service. I was upset about the situation that I did not take a picture but you can rest assured the crack in the windshield was no larger than 6 inches and clearly shows it started as a pop mark that may have been there before I even rented the vehicle. UPDATE: I have not heard from Enterprise Customer Care as they responded to this post. However I did get a call from another department within Enterprise threatening me to pay or I can never rent from Enterprise or Alamo or any other affiliates lol. They thought that would scare me but has made this situation even worse. 7new Colorado just did a story on Enterprise and how they pull this on a majority of people who rent from them. Others also confirmed they ran into the same issues I did with Enterprise. I highly encourage you to stay away especially after that news article. I had a confirmed reservation with Enterprise at Montrose Regional Airport for September 11, 2015. I called from Denver as I was connecting through from Washington, DC to reconfirm that all was in order. I spoke with Ed who said that my reservation was confirmed. When I arrived 90 minutes later Ed told me that there were no cars available and that maybe Budget next door could help me. I was totally left on my own to find another car with absolutely no assistance from Enterprise. Fortunately Budget had a car (albeit a small sub compact) and was willing to honor the Enterprise rate.
