I asked why I didn't get a phone call or email telling me that my reservation was not being honored. The man told me "it is not my job to call anyone" and offered zero help or resolution. He could not have cared less that we drove all the way down there or that it messed up our travel plans. Very unhelpful and terrible attitude! Fortunately I was able to book a car at Budget on Route 37 in Toms River. I called to confirm and the lady there could not have been nicer. She even offered us a free upgrade for the negative experience we had in Point Pleasant.

All was fine for a few weeks- no change in cars.... Suddenly, without explanation, a worker appears at my window and insists that the new policy is to remove all hitches from trucks and SUVs. Interesting because I had been through this thing numerous times as well as other car washes and in fact, my family also owned one years ago and this has never been an issue. Additionally, my hitch has a lock on it so there's no way it was going anywhere. no one offered to replace it after they took it off and there was no way for me to leave the line and abandoned the errand that morning. Fast-forward a few days later and I try to get my car washed during early business hours and it's closed. I try again later that day again during business hours and again it's closed. I guess the idea is to take your credit card and charge it but not to provide the service. Final comment, it's a tight squeeze when you come out and you try to get your vehicle set up near a vacuum. People plop themselves down right where the bay lets out the cars. PS: The owner and his wife also own HARRIGANS PUB and let's just say neither one is especially friendly or place much of an emphasis on customer service. I'd suggest PJs on 35 in Wall. I had considered a cab service, but my vacations are very important to me, and didn't want to have to worry about reliability, so I decided to use Greg's service, and called to set up an appointment. An e-mail was sent with an invite that you respond to confirming your appointment, and you receive a text from the driver a half hour before pick up. My driver showed up very early, and was waiting for me at my requested pick up location. Very friendly, helped with my bags, had a beautiful Lincoln, and got me to Newark in no time! He even was kind enough to look up my departure gate at my terminal for United Airlines! Also, exchanged in pleasant talk on the way! Great service across the board, and highly recommend them and will! I also, love the flat rate that includes tolls and gratuities! Takes the guess work out of your bill. Gil farmed my work out to a specialist which I was ok with. I was promised to be charged his shop price- cool. What happened next was completely out of Gil's control. The other shop kept my truck for 2 weeks due to some snafu regarding parts for the repair. It was frustrating for me because it was my work truck. During one of our discussions, I told Gil I may have to rent a car for the weekend. He offered to help with that as he felt bad that the other shop was taking so long. ( Gil was frustrated too with dealing with the other shop) At one point Gil told me to deal with the other shop by myself. When my truck was finally finished I paid a higher price than what was quoted because I was no longer getting Gil's shop price. Gil offered to make up the difference but then reneged on that offer saying he couldn't do it. As I had to have a fluid change at 500 miles I asked if he would do it and he agreed to for only the price of the materials. Well, today my truck was ready for pick up and he quoted me a price that clearly included labor charges. When I reminded him that he agreed to do the job for the price of materials he kept reciting excuses why he couldn't. He finally relented and I got the price HE originally agreed to. I never held Gil and Jayne accountable for the misgivings of the other shop, and I told them that. A to Z has done some good work on my truck at a reasonable price and in a timely manner. This is why I went back to them. I certainly trust the quality of their work, but this? Three broken promises is a bit too much for me to accept. I finally found a decent mechanic and now, unfortunately, I have to find another.
