My daughter was in an accident & needed a rental. Easy to rent, HOWEVER, man at check in said not to worry about the three scratches we pointed out to him. When vehicle was returned, they now said they would "have to report the damage??!!" I was there with my daughter, and saw the 3 EXISTING scratches. What kind of scam are they running? If they charge her for these EXISTING scratches, I've advised her to fill out an official complaint with the Department of Justice. This is BOGUS claim, on their part. BEWARE! read more

When I found out I needed a rental for another week I decided to turn the car in to Hertz and rent a different one from Enterprise. They're only a block away from Hertz and cheaper. When I made the reservation it said I would need to show them a utility bill to verify my address. Since the utilities are in my roommate's name I called them about it. They checked and said I was already verified. I get there and find out my previous address was verified so I'd have to bring in a utility bill to be re-verified. I again explained the situation and said I could bring in a phone, internet, or credit card bill. Nope! They'll only accept a utility bill. Hertz was about to close. I'm exhausted, starving, freezing, and needed nicotine. So I took a cab home and reserved a new car at Hertz for tomorrow. read more

Worst experience I have ever had. Triedbusing their service multiple times. First visit my reservation was scheduled in Indiana. I came to pick up a vehicle & was verbally assaulted by the manager. Had to drive to Chicago with $7 after they refused to take cash or any other payment, even though they were in error. I came back the following week. I found marijuana & smoking accessories under the driver seat after driving this vehicle for two days. If you turned on the vent the smell of marijuana filled the entire car. When calling to tell them about this concern they told me they would notate the issues so I wasn't charged. I came the following week as this is the choice place for my employer. The computers were down, and I was charged double for my rental thus returning my mortgage payment. Today, I came for a vehicle to drive to Chicago. I spoke to their customer service who told me if I was there before 5:30 pm I would be all set. I came...no reservations & no cars available. I voiced my unhappiness & frustration...just to be yelled at by two employees. While waiting for my Uber I watched them laugh at me & imitate me through the window(I actually took videos). I had to pay an uber to take me 1 hour home & missed my first day of work travel to Chicago. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I scheduled a pick up for rental car at body shop at 9am monday morning. I am still waiting at enterprise rental with about 20 other people standing in line at 10am. Had to be shuttled from body shop. They have 1 man working. And none of the cars have been cleaned and sanitized yet. It's taking at least 45 minutes per person. I expect my morning is shot. Its 90 degrees waiting outside with 20 people in face masks. 2 people called in sick, but cars should have been cleaned and ready when they had been reserved. There is one man here named Jay. He is doing a wonderful job keeping his cool, and getting people checked in. The man cleaning and disinfecting cars is not wearing face mask. Jay is wearing a face mask. read more

Yup, busy location and small parking lot but, who cares? The staff were all really busy but really helpful & friendly. Got the car hassle free but when I brought it back a day early (Sunday) the store was closed. Called first thing Monday morning and was told that it was on me to pay for the extra day because the store was closed etc.etc. Talked to the manager who took one look at my reservation and told me he would be happy to take one day off the rental fee as a one-shot deal. No one told me they were closed on Sunday and I guess I should have checked before I rented from this location. He took responsibility for the staff not telling me and did the right thing. This location will be my go-to car rental from now on. Oh yeah, they were so busy they didn't have the car I reserved so they just bumped me up to a really nice SUV. I like these guys! read more

I arrive to rent a car and found the place in chaos. Only one worker behind the counter, 3 customers waiting, not many cars in the lot - just not a good situation. The one worker did the best she could do and had a very good attitude despite the bad situation she was in. She worked with me to get the car that met my needs - even moving me up to a premium instead of the standard I had reserved. The car was clean and worked well. The staff was very friendly when I dropped it back off the next week. There were issues - I had to wait about 45 minutes to get my car and it seemed more difficult that is should have been for them to get my reservation right, but at least the staff I dealt with worked with me in a very friendly and polite manner and eventually made certain I drove out with the vehicle that I needed. read more

I needed a rental due to a car accident that was caused by the other person. The first day I called they told me the only had small cars, I have 3 children. Then today I called got a bigger car and when I asked them to come pick me up....the woman was extremely rude and said they couldn't! I am a single mother with no family around. Very busy location in too small an area (in a strip mall). Great people though and the car was ready and warmed up (in the winter) and right outside the door. I left my car in a lot behind the building (had been in an accident and I didn't want to drive too far), not a comforting thought. read more

I have used this Enterprise office many times, and the last time was as good as all the others. The personnel were efficient and friendly, the car was clean and exactly what I needed and functioned well, and, as always, I greatly appreciated the pick-up and drop-off service. On the rare occasions when I've been able to find a cheaper car rental online, Enterprise has been willing to meet or beat their rates. I highly recommend this company. read more

Do not trust this Enterprise location! Recently, my son was reserved a rental at this location by our insurance company. Upon arriving he was told by an associate his reservation could not be found. Rather than wait for his insurance claim, he was directed by the associate (while on the phone with me) to select the insurance option for an additional fee. The representative further explained the charge would be deducted from the final statement once the claim was processed. Unfortunately for us, we trusted this information to be accurate. The claim was processed and the fee still remains on my credit card statement! Upon calling for an explanation and reimbursement concerning the charge, the gentleman I spoke with stated nothing could be done. I went on to explain to him the insurance was selected under the directive of an Enterprise employee and I'd overheard the entire interaction. Rather than be helpful or empathic his toned took an unpleasant turn at which point I asked to speak with the manager. He replied he was indeed the manager, I asked for the corporate office number (as to assist in coming to a resolution) and his name. He stated his name was Thomas and when I ask for his last name he declined, stating he was not required to give this information. I left the conversation feeling cheated, scammed and disappointed in the lack of customer service provided. It is not the responsibility of the consumer to make sure employees are providing accurate information or following through on their promises. That is the responsibility of the manger and he has set a VERY low standard of service at this location. read more

DON'T RENT HERE!! This is the WORST PLACE to rent a vehicle. I have been a loyal Enterprise customer for over 8 years now. My past rental experiences from Enterprise have always been outstanding with superior customer service. However, this location on Odana Rd. in Madison, WI is at the BOTTOM of the chain. ASHLEY SEVERSON, the Branch Manager, is the worst individual I have ever had to deal with. I had waited for over 2 hrs. for her to return my phone call in which she never called me back. Her co-worker, Andrea Sipos, had informed me that she had a customer in her office who was irate. RED FLAG #1. Finally after waiting nearly 4 hrs. from the time I placed my reservation, a driver from this location had picked me up. I explained to him my ordeal that I had gone through with Ashley Severson and the extremely poor customer service that I had received. The driver confided in me that her employees "don't stay very long & their out the door." 2nd RED FLAG. When I finally got in the door there was chaos/confusion from the customers who were at the counter. This included everything from "that's not what I was quoted for a price", to "how long is this going to take?" This was the 3rd RED FLAG! Andrea Sipos, the Ass't Manager, was extremely rude and condescending to an elderly man in front of me. Tempers and patience were running at an all time high. Again, I had planned my reservation for 11:30AM and was finally at the counter at 3:30PM. I has asked to speak ASHLEY SEVERSON who was trying to convince a customer to upgrade on all the options in which the customer kept repeating she didn't need. By the time I got in the vehicle there were problems with the trunk that didn't close. And on and on and on.... Future Enterprise customers, please read my words and understand my frustration in going through what in what I did at this branch location. I highly recommend the branch on E. Use this location on regular basis for corporate travel. Always friendly & focused on providing good experience even when busy. Could use an expanded fleet due to large corporate client demand...do not always have selected car available. read more

When i went to pick up my rental the person told me that due to higher than normal rentals they would have to upgrade me at no charge to a premium car. I got a 2016 Altima instead of the the compact car that I reserved and was extremely pleased with service that I received. Will definitely rent from them agsain. read more
