Understandably, I was concerned since I had been planning this trip for some time. When I arrived at the office, I was greeted by Ryan DyBouder, the Manager on duty, who immediately put me at ease about the whole situation. He worked with me to hash out the details, showed me the vehicles available, and patiently answered all my questions. Ryan even took the time to personally clean the vehicle I chose -- and he did it all in record time. What could have been a terrible experience was turned into a positive one thanks to Ryan's professionalism, kindness, and true understanding of customer service. Booked four months ago for a Van for a week in September with the La PLata Branch. They called to confirm two days prior to pickup that I needed a van still, I made very clear that i needed three rows in the vehicle for my trip. They called morning of pickup to tell me nothing was available and I needed to call around to other enterprise locations to find a van or similar. I was surprised at the lack of effort put into problem solving this situation. I found one in waldorf with serious infotainment issues that they were aware of but I had no choice and took it. Let me begin by saying I had an amazing "wait" time with the La Plata Enterprise location. Jonathan, the manager-on-duty, is a wealth of knowledge. Syeed is friendly when he picked me up from the collision center--he was seemed like family. Jasmine's smile is comforting. When they tell you, "We got you!" They meant that. I was initially supposed to have an intermediate car, but it was not comparable to my car that was being repaired. With a growing child and my career, I needed more space. They kindly walked me through the process to get what met my needs in my time of waiting--physically and financially. Their inventory is vast. I had choices. The smiles you see in the picture are genuine. I am very pleased with the customer service and up-to-the-minute communication. I will ride the extra miles to rent from this location again. Corporate, please take care of this shift. I only waited to resolve my issues from another point of service, but they rented four+ cars while I was there. NO ONE waited beyond what was necessary. I used this location because the repair shop used this location to make it easy for customers to drop off vehicle and pick up rental all through insurance. Today, I experienced a level of stress and inconvenience like never before. My reservation was at 8:45. It took 30 minutes for pickup. I get to enterprise and I presented my expired license plus a copy of my temporary driver license that was scanned to my phone while I await the hardcopy in the mail. I was told it couldn't be used. He had a driver take me back to the repair shop, get my car from the back , drive home to get the paper copy. I returned back to Calliber Collision and drop my car off him. I had to wait 45 minutes for another pickup. Once I get to enterprise. I'm told that they have no more full size vehicles and only had a small compact car. I told them my family size won't allow for it. They told me to call my insurance company and see if I could get a higher rental rate. They stood around and not once did they offer to call other locations to help me find a full size vehicle that I reserved. I missed two appointments today dealing with that lack of respect for my time. This process was to be seamless and was by far the worst. Customer service was horrible. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I rented a car for 2 weeks, $509 plus $200 holding fee. $709 comes out of my account------Thats fine. They tell me that car was being cleaned and when it's done they present a Nissan Altima that's a little worse for the wear on the outside. However, I'm not picky so I take it. I open the doors and the interior is disgusting. There are white, crusty stains all over the driver's seat, stains and spills all over the back seat. The smell wafting out was that of unwashed body odor. I go inside and get an employee and point out how foul it is and clearly not clean. I was told because I "did a same day rental, it wasn't cleaned as thoroughly as it would have been had I booked the car in advance". I ask them if they can clean the car and the employee tells me "No, this is as good as it gets". I then ask for a different vehicle and she informs me they only have a pick up truck. I say, that's fine. Again- I'm not picky, I just want a clean sanitary vehicle. She informs me I would have to pay for an upgrade. I remind her that I'm not trying to get an upgrade, I just want a clean vehicle since the car I reserved is dirty. She repeats that, I'd have to pay for an upgrade. This is outrageous to me, so I refuse the unsanitary car, and I decline to pay any extra. At this point, the employee flippantly tells me she can void the transaction, and void my charge. Since getting a clean vehicle was out of the question, I agree. She then informs me I won't see the returned funds for 2-3 business days. So now it's 4:30pm and I'm standing in the parking lot having wasted my time, no vehicle and I'm out $709 for the better part of a week. Bear in mind, this is during a pandemic. If you cannot provide clean, sanitary vehicles---you shouldn't be in business. Also, the location was closing within 30 minutes of this, so this location was willing to: A.Not rent the Altima B.Not rent the Pickup C.Lose $709 in business, with a shrug. That's incredible to me. If my employee cost me $709 and represented my business as unsanitary and apathetic, I would be furious. I have been in touch with corporate, it will interesting to see if I hear back. I'm waiting on the return of my money. It was a void that took place in a matter of minutes, so why I would be waiting for 2-3 business days is beyond me. I also looked at this YELP for this location to see if my experience was uncommon and saw a terrible review posted for the same location 5 hours earlier. Seems like this is how they do business. I had a rental from Enterprise in LaPlata, MD in May, we verified that the vehicle had been cleaned and was told yes it had been cleaned several times and sanitized. We were concerned based on the pandemic we are in with COVID-19. I drove the suv home and had to clean blood from the headliner and handle. I had to clean both the outside driver and passenger window (they had used a wet rag on the outside windows and smeared both of the windows) they were hard to see out of. I was also charged $400. For what I though was going to be a $140. Charge to me ( I did get a $184. Credit). Been waiting for a district manger to call me for 5 weeks now. Enterprise Rental Car - La Plata MD. Rented an SUV (2020 Nissan Rogue), was told it had been cleaned an sanitized, but their exterior washing was broken. Obvious crumbs in the seats, some sort of fluid atomized on the inside of the windshield, multiple spit rings from suction cups on the inside of the windshield, a stone chip at the bottom of the windshield. Additionally, the airbag warning light stays on. When contacted, they "looked up" the vehicle history. They sad it was safe to drive, and that Mr. Tire forgot to reset the maintenance light. I guess they thought I am car dumb. So, I looked for the owners manual to get a better description. The dealer must service the error. Not a tire place that can reset Oil change lights. I also was obviously not the first to look it up, as the manual had been removed from the shrink wrap. They offered to put me in another car, but it would take an hour at least. No attempt to come up with another solution. When I turned it in and told them it should be removed from service to get the light fixed, all I got was we can give you a credit. I also explained about the crumbs, inside glass issues, etc. again no empathy - we can give you a credit. Absolutely no customer service etiquette. I looked at my email an hour later, and no email that it had been turned in. So I called, again, same poor service - It can take days for the email to come in they explained. Let's see if I get a credit or an email. By the way, not my first rental from them, I rented one a few weeks ago without issue. However, they treated the county Sherriff that was coming in for a rental pretty poorly. read more

Great service. I've used this location twice. ( while my car was being repaired at the local dealer). Every staff person I worked with was helpful and professional -- Dana, the shuttle driver, picked me up and dropped me off promptly. He knows the area well and took a short cut around an accident on 301. He even came back to the dealership after he dropped me off to bring me something I'd left in the shuttle. James was very patient with me while I tried different cars to find a good fit. Kristina (?) was very helpful on the phone when I called to inquire about a late return. And the young man who processed the return was also polite and efficient. I would definitely rent from this location again. The only suggestion I have is to use a different cleaner or something in the car interior. The odor inside the car was very strong and acrid. Luckily the day was mild, and I could open the windows to let it air out, but otherwise, it would have been overpowering. The car otherwise seemed well maintained and drove fine. read more

Their customer service is horrible! A reservation was made thru my insurance company. Received a call from them to confirm pick up time and type of car. Didn't receive the same car as requested because it wasn't clean although I called that morning of pick up to confirm time and car again and car was sitting on the lot. A deer hit my car, so I didn't know my car was going to be reviewed as totaled at the time of pick up. Called back to see if I could return the rental to another location after purchasing a car and explained my situation to the LaPlata manager, but she told me I couldn't and had to bring the rental back to their location, however I was in another state purchasing a car( Dulles, VA) and their would be a fee assessed of $75.00 or more along with my 20% I was responsible from the insurance company. Went to another Enterprise close to the dealership in VA anyway and was going to pay the fee because I purchased a car, but was told I was not required to pay the fee because it was thru my insurance and I could return the rental car there! Ashley at the Dulles location was so nice and they dropped me back off to the dealership!!!!! The LaPlata location lacks professionalism and excellent customer service!!!!!!! I didn't complain because it got me from start to finish, but I do want to say that the Hyundai Tucson is the roughest riding vehicle I've ever been in. Other than that...................
