I asked what my options were and the guy rudely smirked and said he there's no car. I asked if there were other locations he could help me with and he refused to help me and stated he works for himself and doesn't need to help. I understand things happen. But choosing to work with customers should mean offering solutions of atleast communicating with respect.

Upon starting the vehicle, I noticed the car had various lights on the dashboard and the steering wheel only turned with force. Before leaving the parking lot I brought it to the attention of the owner. He assured me that it was only the side mirrors and no other issues. He also stated there were no more Avis rental cars in town. I later found this was a complete lie from another location. 20 minutes after leaving the store the car was inoperable. The vehicle would not start. The battery was completely dead. I tried calling the location 5 times without the employee answering the phone. After getting a ride back to the store, the employee said that it wasn't their problem they gave us a vehicle with a dead battery. He stated that since i took the vehicle it was my issue. This was less than an hour from leaving their parking lot. He rudely pointed at a 1-800 number and said call road side assistance. I stated that since I picked up the vehicle with a dead battery and only 20 minutes later had a vehicle that wouldn't start, I expected their assistance getting the vehicle to their store and a full refund of my $300. The employee refused to help or offer assistance. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and was told "NO!" in an aggressive raised voice. I asked a second time and received the a YELLED response of the same. My ride then spoke up and matched the employees tone and stated he will not yell and treat me like that. The employee then chose to incite the situation by yelling, "Get the F*** out of my store". My ride matched his tone of voice by saying we will not leave until the situation had a resolution. The employee continued to yell, "get the F*** out of the store" and called 911 to report we were not leaving his store. He then called the owner which come to find out mis his father as we waited for police. It was then apparent how an individual with no customer service skills, an anger management issue, and lack of caring remained employed. He works for daddy. We remained on premises until police arrived and the situation was resolved. Despite the employee's verbal abuse and intimidation I was not leaving until I was compensated for the cost of a rental car that was inoperable. The solution was that I, the client, jump started the car and brought it to another Avis location. The manager of the other location full filled the rental contract and gave monetary compensation for my troubles. It was brought to my attention this Avis location in Hixson has had many complaints. The employee that was unbelievably rude, irresponsible, verbally abusive, and unwilling to take any responsibility for the vehicle or his behavior is the owners son. The owner is the individual who gave me a car with a dead battery yet assured me it was fine despite the alert light on the panel. I am thankful I was not on the highway further from home upon discovering the dead battery. I am also grateful the Avis location in Chattanooga employed caring, helpful and responsible employees willing to step up when the location in Hixson failed to uphold the rental contract or demonstrate basic decency.

In spite of many costly options, the manager here quoted me just under $300 to take care of the other options were $2000. He had my best in and that's all I was looking for. They charged me over $400 for a new battery, which I never needed in the first place and didn't fix…read morethe problem I was having with my car. They seemed very unprofessional and not very knowledgeable, like they were guessing how to fix it and never sure what the real issue was even after the diagnostic. I realize every problem isn't always going to be obvious how to solve, but it was the fact they charged me so much for something I never needed. They also aren't good at communicating with customers and it seems like they're not even good at communicating with each other. Different people would answer my calls and have no idea what another person was doing or what progress was made on a certain car. Every time I called they would put me on hold, and then transfer me to someone else just to tell me ANOTHER person will call me back when they get the chance. The first time it took them an hour to call me back, the second time they never called me back. They are your typical car service scammers who don't even seem qualified to be working there in the first place. I am not the only one who has had bad experiences with them, my dad has as well, pretty much same issues. Please take your car anywhere else.

I've been told I was on a list and they will call me to let me know something. I have never ever received a call back from Enterprise Chapman Rd. I continued to call and received an excuse for not getting a callback. So after one of my many calls I was informed that I could call any Enterprise to swap cars. So I called Lee Hwy, Fort Oglethorpe, and Hixson Pike and was told by the representative, "I will call you back". Til this day 4/23 NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK. So I take it that is just what they tell you just to get you off the phone. Surprisingly this morning I had. Voicemail from Enterprise Chapman Rd stating my contract had expired and they needed the vehicle back. I quickly returned the vehicle and the lady who called lied and said I tried calling you 5x yesterday and I told her to stop lying because I didn't have one missed call nor a voicemail. She stated I gave the wrong number on my contract and she had to call around to get the correct number and I left a voicemail for you. My question is Who did you call around to??? My contract was set up by Liberty Mutual so me giving the wrong number on my contract was another lie. And for her to say she called around to get my real number was another lie. I received the car on half tank and I'm mad I returned it above half but I'm going to wait and see if another lie be told. Enterprise communication skills are the worst once they get you in a car they don't care about anything else. Now I have 2 pending charges for $50 that will be disputed. Enterprise knows who I am because I'm posting my review on the day of this event when we exchanged words and I bet they still won't call me.

I would totally recommend this place and Esther personally! Will always use this place when I need a reliable rental car with outstanding customer service.
