Last February 2023, I was on my way to visit my dear friend at her mansion home up north in Nevada. I was here at Enterprise Hesperia picking up my rental car... ended up with a Nissan Kicks... very cool compact SUV! Love it! Yesterday on 03/30/2024, I was here to rent again on a rainy day first time ever holding an umbrella when picking up my rental car LOL. Hilarious!!! Anyway, I ended up with a really nice 2023 Ford Escape SUV for my Las Vegas and Scottsdale road trip... very spacious and comfy. First time ever... I don't shift the gear, I dial it LOL. It offers a different driving experience that's for sure. And it's a hybrid! Btw, they gave me a free upgrade from Compact SUV to Intermediate SUV... sweet! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Update: Well, after my first review, Enterprise has now retaliated against me with a bogus $1,115 damage claim. The car was a 2024 Nissan Altima that already had dents and scrapes when I picked it up -- including a dent low on the back left side. The employee even told me it was "all marked in the system." I had the car less than 24 hours before returning it because it was in terrible condition: it reeked of marijuana, the washer fluid didn't work, the tires thumped, and I could even feel something off on the right side while driving. Now, Enterprise's Damage Recovery Unit is claiming I caused damage in an "accident." Their own paperwork says the "point of impact" is unknown. They're even showing a warning light supposedly tied to the front left while pointing to dents on the back left. Which one is it? None of it adds up. I have a clean driving record -- no accidents in years, I don't speed, and I barely even drive. If there had been any accident, the 2024 car's own onboard system would have recorded it, and I would have called AAA or my insurance immediately. There is no such record, because nothing happened. This feels like harassment and retaliation for leaving an honest review. I will never rent from Enterprise again, and people should think twice before trusting them. read more

Needed a last minute car due to an emergency; I was able to book and obtain a car within 15 minutes! The whole process was30-40 minutes from the time I reserved it online. The staff is extremely helpful, efficient and courteous. They were kind and empathetic to my situation. The car I got was a Toyota Camry. Great car, it was clean had almost a full tank of gas. Completely dissatisfied with the way my service was rendered. First off there's an entirely new team operating this location. Today I came with an appointment for a "reserved" vehicle which is the reason I got a 10:30am. At this time it's 11:23am almost an hour in to being here trying to get my rental car for an insurance claim. This is the last time I ever use Enterprise for any insurance claims. This location only aggravated the stress involved and we're completely unprofessional. However Monay did as much as she could to get me out of here and back on the road! Their customer service needs improvement. Even the manager needs to work on her customer service skills. The customer was getting irate because of miss information. He was not given all the info when he called to make a reservation and he was getting upset. The manager could not control her tone and was rude and unprofessional. Forces to rent a car here, as buses that normally connects travelers, vacationers with various stops in SoCal and Las Vegas are mostly no longer running during the pandemic. Anyway, that's part of the reason I had to rent a car one-way from Hesperia to Las Vegas. The car I was given to rent is a 4k mile only Mazda3. It was a sweet and comfortable ride, easily handles the climb up the mountain pass 4,000 feet elevation. This location follows physical distancing and customers wait outside, and a rental staff from the office will come out to complete the rental process on a handheld device, which includes "writing" the initials and signature to complete the rental agreement. The only annoying part of my rental process was given a car that does not have a full tank of gas. And I felt ripped off a bit return a car with a couple gallons more gas in the car than I received. Horrible phone service!!!! Was attempting to reserve a car and due to where we were dropping our car, the office was going to transfer me to a close office in Redlands. However, we got cut off during the transfer. We call again the Hesperia office and was able to get through and told him I needed to be transferred to the Redlands office at the young lady was going to transfer me to. Again I get cut off. We made 3 to 4 times attempts to call the office and then get cut off. We never were able to get a hold of somebody. We had to look up the Redlands office ourselves. Which was another issue in itself. Enterprise car rental absolutely horrible service. I would not recommend them at all. read more

If you can go to the location in Victorville instead of this one I would. I will never recommend this place to family or friends. My dad has rented from them since we moved out here to the High Desert. He went in and he was waiting and a family came in after him and my dad let the lady know he had been waiting. She didn't help him when he had been waiting there and instead grabbed someone else to help my dad. My dad felt like they were SUPER prejudice based on his appearance. He went another time cause he needed a rental due to a claim and when he went they had nothing when the claim adjuster had scheduled that. They told him they would call later that day and never did. I called the next day for him because my dad is very quiet and I don't think anyone would want there parents being treated badly or taken advantage. The guy was apparently a manager and he didn't like that I was telling him the facts of how it was. I said your employees are "fking rude". He went to report we were cussing him out which wasn't the case. He even reported we went in person causing a scene. I never get off with my dad always drop him off or pick him up so this is definitely a lie. They can definitely post the call or even pull camera footages. I kept the car for a month it was great they charge me 30 bucks a day at least they told me upfront so no biggie but I pick the car up at 1 PM and 30 days later I brought it back at 1 PM and they charged me $40 extra for not being there at 11 that's BS and they charge me for a gallon of gas and I brought it back with more than I left with Customer service wants me to send them a copy of my contract a letter of what's going on and I'll kinds of other paperwork and documents just give me my 50 bucks or I'm going somewhere else read more

My son got a rental car though his insurance from them and they didn't have a car available within the insurance budget so they talked him into getting something bigger that he had to pay the difference for and they said they would have a car within a few days for him to trade to. But, everyday he called he was told there was no cars available and I believe was so they could keep charging him the extra which is so unethical. This went on for 4 days so he ended up just taking it back and they refused to take off the extra charges even though it was their fault. Ok, so as I sit on the side of the road with a blown out tire that enterprise does NOT stand behind, the extremely rude AMANDA at enterprise road side assistance, actually said that their tire on their van blew (disintegrated) because it was our fault and they won't deal with it unless we PAY THEM TO FIX THEIR OWN SHITTY EQUIPMENT. The tire guy from AAA said the tire blew from DRY ROT, and not from something we did. This is NOT over... leaving 7 children and two women stranded, at night, on the freeway,, unless we pay them to come fix their own junky, sub standard product. Beware! They don't care about you!! All they care about is more money more money more money. They can fix this cr*pay tire or they can come pick it up off the cliff edge i want to push it off of...terrible business, terrible customer service. I was referred to Enterprise by USAA and selected the option for auto insurance related rental. After 20 minutes hold, I spoke with someone who gave no information and and could do nothing for me. She said she could transfer me to car rentals. Really? Isn't Enterprise a car rental agency? I already selected that option. OK, so why does the system send me to someone who knows nothing and transfers me to rentals- which was the option I chose in the first place? Answer- I don't know, would you like me to transfer you? I said yes, if that's all we can do. Ok. Then she hung up on me. I may not be a load of fun, but why does it require multiple transfers to reserve a car rental? Why hang up on someone, even if they are irritated, if they say "yes" to a transfer to rental reservations? When our car is wrecked and we are stressed, we might not be at our best when we call, and Enterprise clearly doesn't care (though I suppose there are individuals throughout the company who do- the system is set up to serve the company, not the client). Sadly, I may use Enterprise anyway because I have to have a car- but I feel very used- even denigrated- by an agency that knows people may have no good choice but to use them. I have rented from Enterprise since my days in college, between Long Beach and Los Angeles. We had a good run when I was in college, so helpful and convenient with picking me up from wherever and bringing me to the office. Then I moved to Hesperia. A few years ago, it was good. My car would be in the shop and the pick-up times and communication were excellent when I needed a ride to the office. Most recently, I reflected on a few bad experiences with this Hesperia location that allowed me to cancel my reservation that I made weeks in advance. I have been with Enterprise for so long, I felt I could trust this company, unfortunately this location has lost my trust and have removed their app from my phone. It is a hit or miss with this location. I had some great customer service, but many of them have moved to corporate or returned to school, and I can see why. They were great! There were representatives I bonded with, who knew me by name, and I used to rent from this location regularly. In the past 2 years or so, the policies changed, a rotation of new managers and representatives became apathetic, and I would not be as informed (for example, the paperwork said to return the vehicle on Saturday at 12pm; I did not know this location was closed and I did not know that we could return the vehicle to the Victorville, or any location, instead we were charged two additional days. We called the (800) number and they pretty much told me, "Oh, well, the hours are online and on the door.") customers of things. And, even if I physically walk-in and make a reservation, there is no record of my reservation when I call to confirm. Most recently, on the same day of my Enterprise reservation, I pretty much ached at the thought of which Enterprise representative or what I would have to deal with. I worked with some good representatives, even discussed car-buying options, but this time I sought out another car rental company through my car insurance because I was getting anxious over the uncertainty of getting a car Enterprise. Thirty-minutes later, I got a car. I literally experienced better and decided to say "bye" to Enterprise. I uninstalled the app, gave up my points, and am comfortably moving on. This place is flat out awful. My in-laws needed a rental for the weekend and didn't want to pick up from the airport due to high tax fees. I had a friend who works for the company make a reservation for me on 2/25 for pick up on 3/11. On 3/10 the branch called me to CONFIRM my reservation for a standard SUV. They knew I would be there at 9:15am on 3/11 because I mentioned I needed to be at the John Wayne airport at a certain time. Fast forward to the day of my pick up. I arrive on time and the girl who "helped" me if that's what she calls it had a piss poor attitude from the min she saw me walk in. To be more specific it was the African American girl with the poofy curly weave. No how are you no hello no nothing! Just "license and CC". Then she told me they didn't have an SUV for me....lol. Soooo what was the point in confirming I would need the car the next day if you made no effort to have one ready for me. She tried to tell me my only option was a mini van....girl no. I told her I would take the large SUV because an SUV is what I booked. She told me "well you're gonna have to pay more since the rate is higher". Yea girl no, you dropped the ball in not having what I needed I'm def not paying more because you have shitty planning. She kept going to the back and talking to someone cause clearly she can't make executive decisions on her own. Finally she came back and had the nerve to tell me "I'll let you slide with the large SUV this time". I legit LOL'd. You'll let me slide? Girl bye. There were legit booger smears on the seats in the 3rd row. They obviously have crappy car washers as well. The steering wheel was shaking so bad when you would drive anything over 60mph. So maintenance on the vehicles is not being done properly. My return. I returned today to a different branch since this one is not open on Sunday's. By the grace of good luck I had Auburn help me at the location on Civic. He was extremely apologetic and very professional. I guess this is the only person the Area Manager interviewed properly. The day that I'm supposed to pick up the rental they call me 10 minutes before my scheduled time to tell me they have no vehicles. They didn't know that yesterday at the end of the shift. Did not get the ladies name that helped assist me but she was incredibly rude and would not let me speak when I tried to tell her I was current on my rental payments. Sharing my experience with reserving a car and being picked up from the repair shop. I was scheduled to be picked up from a repair shop; after speaking when my insurance company, I was contacted immediately by an enterprise representative to reserve my car and schedule a pick-up. I thought, wow, they are on top of it. Until they weren't. The following day I waited and waited. 45 mins later, I called enterprise and was hung up on twice. I finally got a hold of someone, and they said the person never made the reservation! So annoying. Flash forward to picking up the car. The car is dirty and old. If I could give no stars I would. I rented a car from here and got it impounded in Utah (very conservative , got pulled over because out of state plates) in a very small town where I was stranded. I called to get a release form and they wouldn't release the car to me. Okay. Whatever. I call and talk to the manager XAVIER to file the report. Two days later my mom says they didn't know the car was impounded. Four days after XAVIER calls me back and I start to explain to him my frustration that he hadn't filed the report and he replied to me with "I don't know who the fuck you think you're talking to" and hangs up on me. The rental is impounded in Blanding Utah and I am being charged every day it's in impound. I take full responsibility for my actions. BUT WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT ??? I was sterotyped first time based on my clothing. Second time vehicle was available till they went inside. Update: On top of giving me a rental car that was towed for expired tags, giving me a horrible smoke smelling car after that one was towed, not returning my garage opener, or any other belongings in the car, blaming the tow on me, now they also will not give me back my deposit among other things. I had to go through Chris's manager to get my things back. Go somewhere else. I have reported this place and filed a complaint. Beware. The manager Chris McNinch is what I call white privileged. They hired him as manager because he is the only white guy it in the store who can talk out of his behind..He needs to get fired.
