They picked me up and made me wait over an hour to be driven to LANCASTER to pick up another car. The car that awaited me was missing the drivers side rear view mirror, no air conditioning, no gas, and dents and scratched paint. The sales rep said he would give me a discount and a free day but charged me the same exact price on paper. He also noted on the paperwork that I'd get 40$ more back after the rental. When I returned the c ar the owner told me I was late getting back and that I owe for an extra day and that I get the minimum deposit back. The sales rep just stood there and said sorry!! The…read moreHyundai dealership generated a PO for me in order to rent a car without paying out of my own pocket. The Hertz office is inside of a Buick dealership and it is a small location. The only complaint (and it is very, very minor) is I had to wait for a car to be returned before I could rent one. Not an issue since I personally did not reserve one ahead of time. The waiting room was spacious and comfortable so I chilled out for a morning in air conditioned comfort. The staff kept me informed about any updates of the delay. All in all, the staff was very personable and my experience there was positive. I was able to get into a car once one became available. The return process was painless a few days later. I would consider using Hertz if the need arises.
