UPDATE 12/30/25: Changed my one star rating to five stars because that's the service I'm used having at this location. The vehicle was to be retuned on 12/29/25 but because I was an hour after the 3 hour "grace period" the female associate wanted to charge me for another day. So I took the vehicle back, since I was being charged an additional day to bring back the next day. Upon returning, James was very gracious to remove the extra day from the total charges after explaining what happened. I was ecstatic and told him that I would certainly be back to do business. Prior review: Thanksgiving 2025, I went to pick up a minivan that I reserved 3 weeks in advance only to find out that they gave it away to another customer and wanted to put me in a much smaller box sized vehicle, as they had nothing else (at least that's what I was told). We scrambled around looking everywhere to rent a car because we were heading to see family in Florida and they were sold out all over. I even called as far as Slidell, Baton Rouge and Covington. Sold out everywhere. I was extremely ticked off with these people. We unfortunately had to drive our own SUV to Palm Beach, and I was not happy about that at all. I will say, National is much better at being transparent with their inventory. While they are an integrated network with Enterprise, they do not overbook, from my experience traveling over the country renting with them. When they're out of stock, they won't allow reservations but Enterprise does. Enterprise operates much like the airlines....will overbook and ask for forgiveness when they mess up your plans. I won't come here again, I'd much rather go to the airport and rent from National. Emerald members skip the entire counter experience, pick up the vehicle and checkout on the way out. This is much better and less complicated. These folks in "customer service" roles better be mindful that robots are taking jobs that humans are failing at. Just see what Amazon did, laid off 14,000 employees and invested in AI to their jobs. FYI...I would always book on Enterprise's website but just realized Priceline has better rates and cheaper full collision coverage, like $15 a day as opposed to $33. read more

James in management has a very arrogant and rude attitude!! I reserved a vehicle on November 11 2025 for November 20th with a 2pm pickup time. Arrived at 2pm waited. Having to wait for James and another employee to finish their personal conversation that went on approximately 2 to 5 minutes before greeting me. James checked me in. I waited and watched as other people walked in and received their rentals . James had no problem smiling and greeting certain customers, of course!. Different treatment. I sat for 30 minutes before James related to me the vehicle was not there and that someone went to the airport to pick it up. Another hour passed. He then said he was waiting for another customer to return a vehicle. The story changed many times to no avail. Finally approximately 5:40 I received a dirty mini van. During all this time the entire crew was not at all concerned about the time I spent there waiting. My rental should have been there and ready for pickup. He waited until I arrived to search for a vehicle foe me Now remember I reserved on November 11th. As I sat watching and waiting the whole crew was very unprofessional! Horrible customer service. Been here on 2 separate occasions. Whole team unprofessional and customer service at an all time low. James and the tall skinny black guy. Their intentional rudeness is ridiculous. I'll never return to this location. No I Do not recommend. Throughout the process of me getting the rental car they laughed and giggled upon each other while making jokes about me. Not to mention, after I showed my drivers license, insurance, and credit card the skinny one intentionally spelled my name wrong. When it was time to process the $50 fee he even entered the wrong email address. I told him he entered my information wrong and he said he doesn't know why he did it, he was rushing... I was the only customer there btw. Also while doing the inspection of the vehicle before turning it over to me he checked the gas and told me it was at a quarter tank and to bring it back at a little over a half a tank.. tf? The math isn't mathing My car was in the shop and I was harassed via texts literally everyday lying saying that the shop had given them updates of when it should be done, which changed everyday.. even after I confirmed my return date and time they repeatedly send messages asking me to confirm my return date. read more

This is my second time coming to this location and she has been approachable, polite, and transactional, which says a lot about rental car places. Even before when I've dealt with another gentleman at this location, he was the same way. Very welcoming. Worse service! The gentleman was multi-tasking from the beginning to the end when I got there to get my rental. While trying to get my information to find my rental agreement, he's also on the phone with another person. I had to repeat it twice since he had to talk on the phone. When I came back to return my rental, I ended up with him again and no surprise, he's on the phone again. I had to wait for him to pause on his call to get my rental car keys. I didn't even bother to tell him the car he gave me had no water when I had to use the wiper and the door lock had a problem. read more

Excellent employees! I needed to rent a car for a few months due to my auto accident. They didn't have a similar car to my SUV. It was poor timing on a Friday and they had one car they found for me. They switched me to something else twice until they found me a similar SUV that I drive. The employees are always willing and able to help! read more

Every time I have rented here the cars have been crap! We booked a pick up truck weeks in advance and got a call the day before pick up saying no trucks available... this time we booked a full-size car and they were out so they "upgraded" us to a Mitsubishi Eclipse cross" SUV" basically a midsize suv... it smelled so bad because it had obviously been smoked in for years (had to clean the windshield and tar came off on the paper towel) they tried to cover the smoke smell with a bad air freshener. The car did not have a full tank of gas yet we are to bring it back full, and when you start the vehicle it says maintenance required. This all in the first few minutes of getting it home. We would take it back but they are closed now and basically we are stuck with it. When our destination is reached we are going to Take it to enterprise there and request a different vehicle. read more

Horrible location. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! Longtime Enterprise Plus member and I have a reservation for a vehicle and called before heading over and was told they gave my car away. I asked them to put me in an upgraded vehicle at their cost and they gave me the runaround and said, oh just come on over and we'll take care of you' but would not be willing to commit to anything. Haley tried to jerk me around as if I'm stupid, not knowing that I'm the CEO of a large organization, rent cars many times/month and as a CEO of a service based organization this is the textbook way of how NOT to treat a customer. I will be immediately moving all of my business and customers over to my Avis Presidents Club account. read more

This location has really gone downhill in the last few years. It is beyond aggravating to rent here, which I no longer will consider even though I live a few blocks away. I have rented from this location a few times a year since 2014. Previously, it was managed by a young redhead woman and the staff was very professional and courteous. The last few years, I don't know who is running the place, but its like a raucous swap meet now. Employees can't be bothered with courtesies, eye contact and only engage customers with the least amount of effort with mush-mouth mumblings. They have one individual that runs around in street clothes, who I assume is a porter, but can't understand a word he says as he runs and hollers all over the lot. The regular customer base isn't much better, particularly (every) Saturday. Loud and obnoxious clientele will make any time here hell. My biggest concern was after having completed a trip in a rental that spanned a good 3k miles, this staff was immediately going to flip the rental to the next customer that walked into the door without even a cursory review of the vehicle. Good luck trying to reach this location over the phone, they rarely pick up. When they do pickup, you're greeted with, "ay, wassup, dood"? If i'm presented with a need for a rental I will be going elsewhere to save myself the grief. read more

I scheduled a rental at this location on June 28, 2024. I arrived at my scheduled time and was checked in. There seemed to be a problem 15 minutes into my wait. I took it upon myself to ask if there was a problem and that is when I was informed that the vehicle that was reserved for me was brought in with mechanical issues. However, it was at the shop and would be there shortly. Well 2 hours later the vehicle never arrived. I had to continually go to the counter for updates because none of the representatives were communicating with me. After the 2 hours and the very unprofessional service I took it upon myself to locate another rental. I had to go to the airport to pick up the rental. I have filed a complaint since July 1, 2024 and today is July 29, 2024 and I have not heard back from anyone at Enterprise. Very disappointed with the service and also the fact that my trip was delayed by 3 hours. read more

In total a terrible experience. We chose them over uhaul because they advertise as the cheaper alternative but by the end there was an extra hundred dollars in extra charges. My truck also "broke down" when I parked and calling the main office, the local office and customer service no one would help me. My movers recognized that all I needed to do was jiggle the steering wheel and the situation was fixed. The service woman is rude, interrupted me, wouldn't even answer basic questions about what I was getting surcharged for and oh yeah, let someone cut me in line because "they were just dropping off their keys" even though that's what I was doing... After waiting on hold for 28 minutes... Instead of having the convenient pick up that I heard advertised 40 times while on that hold, I drove over to the location. While still on hold, I entered the branch just behind a gentleman who had just walked in. There were three employees behind the counter and no other guests which would have the appearance that someone would have been able to answer my call within 30 minutes. The agent defended situation by saying they were "busy". I should not be surprised because when I first rented from them (insurance companies choice) the lady tried to put me in a tin can when I had made it very clear upfront that the insurance company had approved me for a full sized vehicle. After a horrendous experience at Hertz we returned their car less than an hour after pick up and came to this Enterprise location. The experience was night and day. Enterprise had the appropriate size car I needed and it was already washed, vacuumed and ready to go. The car was clearly well maintained and had upgraded features. Staff the was courteous and informative. When I returned the car they were happy to drive me to the body shop to pick up my vehicle. I've called multiple times asking what I needed to pick up the vehicle and they wasn't clear to what I needed and once I got there I couldn't get the vehicle Because I didn't have everything I needed! I needed a large big body rental for a recent family road trip, to my surprise a 2015 White (that's my color) Suburban was waiting for me. We have used this location about four times over the last seven years. Never for vacation, but a rental for one of our cars being damaged in a wreck. Previously, the customer service was five star; exceptional due to the fact that insurance rentals are their preferred customers (longer rentals with guaranteed payment I have been told). Quality has steadily fallen off. This time was less than a star. Our insurance sent over the information for a "standard" size. Both enterprise and our insurance company show similar cars within that class on both websites. The Harvey location does NOT honor that and will put you in what is clearly described as a compact or economy on their own website. When confronted with this information we were told they don't usually have many cars in that size. Let's rewind. Standard class. Webster defines the word standard as "accepted as normal or average". So, they have small cars, really small cars, big cars, and really big cars, but nothing in the middle. Oh wait I was told they have a corolla, cruise and Sentra. Don't know anyone that considers any of those a normal size card. Neither does those car manufactures either. While trying to navigate the falsehoods presented to us another customer pulled up with a dog in the car and then came in with it. The non service dog was allowed to parade around the waiting area, climbing from seat to seat, and greet every other customer without a concern of their owners and with apparent approval from all enterprise employees. I have a beautiful 4 month old puppy that I may take their this weekend so he too can frolic around the waiting area chairs and lick unsuspecting ankles. This is our last time using them and possibly for all enterprise, unless of course we are looking for an abnormal rental due to the abundance of this market, or if the petting pen at the zoo is closed. read more
