I've used Enterprise for years and always considered them reliable -- until this experience after my car was hit and I needed a rental through insurance. The process was disorganized from pickup to return. Worse, I left non-perishable groceries in the car, which will cost $35 to replace. It may not sound like much but living on a tight budget means we have to do without until my next check in a month. Their policy states they don't hold food items. However, sealed bottles of water, like those dispensed from vending machines, fall outside of that description. My $25 ice scraper was also "not found." When I called promptly to report it, the representative listened briefly, got defensive, and hung up on me without helping or escalating. This dismissive handling of a customer's property, on top of poor service, turned a trusted company into one I'd warn others about. When I picked up my rental car, the employee told me that the car was hooked up to ezpass and they would charge me the ezpass rate. A week after i was charged $84.15 which is way above the ezpass rate for my total trip. then a week after they charged me the same amount again!!! I called both, local n customer service and came to find that I was told the wrong information and was charged the pay by plate fee.. Neither could help me and now I'm out $100+ b/c I was giving the wrong info by there employees. Beware you get the right information or they will take a lot more $ from you, and nothing you can do about it!! I feel CHEATED and I will never use Enterprise for my business trips again!!! read more

I stopped in right at open 7:30 am, the staff were really friendly and helpful but I left without a rental due to a terrible policy. I had a reservation for a compact car to use for the week as mine was in the shop for transmission repair. The total on the reservation was $348.93. How does the total all of a sudden become $748.93?! The employee told me it was a policy and it's "just assurance" in case anything happens. No where was there information when reserving the car that said an additional $400 would be applied. Not the employees fault but I left without the car and took an Uber. read more

This was such a terrible experience. I have rented from enterprise 3 times in different states in just the past 2 months and expect better customer service. the last time I rented, the agent said sometimes walk in prices can be better than doing a reservation. When we arrived the manager was extremely rude saying we should do our homework to save money next time when we requested an economy car and there were none left. The manager at this location is extremely rude. He would constantly interrupt me while I was trying to explain to him a conversation I had with one of his employees. He constantly interrupted me, to the point I asked him to stop cutting me off. After this experience with this manager, I will no longer do business with enterprise. read more

We rented a car after hitting a deer and our car was being fixed we wanted a small compact car to drive to work they didn't have one but upgraded us stating we would get the economy price when we got the billed we were charged for full size car they stated they never told us that and refused to help us. I'm so disappointed we have always used enterprise and this has happened before there was never a problem, hitting the deer was such a traumatic experience then for this to happen is very disheartening. read more

It's hard to get excited about a car rental experience. Still, there are better and worse ones, and this interaction with Enterprise in Fairless Hills, Pa., was better than many. My vehicle was in the body shop for repairs after a rear ender than left the rear bumper of my car looking like the loser of a boxing match. These folks picked me up at the shop, drove me to their store to complete the necessary forms and had me on the road in less than 20 minutes. They worked seamlessly with my auto insurance to arrange for coverage, leaving me with a small balance to pay for the reality that most car rentals cost more than $16 a day. My Mazda 6 was decent, if not exceptional. It was clean and handled well. It was efficient on gas. When I brought it back, they drove me to the body shop with a warm smile and interesting conversation. No hesitation to use them again. read more

Nice guys! I rented a grand caravan, one strange thing, the radio had a USB output but it did not charge the phone. Was only able to play music. It's not the cord either, this is the same cord that works fine in my car. So subsequently my phone died while driving to my destination, which was my GPS. They need to fix the USB port. read more

I needed a rental after someone ran a red light and smashed up my car. I had great care from the first contact with this office and when I was picked up at my job and driven to the location to get my rental. Was given a a2017 Hyundai Sonata. Car was gorgeous and drove well. Returned it after nearly two weeks without incident. I would recommend this location highly. read more

Worst rental car location ever. I rent frequently for business and have never seen such poor customer service. Don't have cars available, even when you make a reservation and then try to get you to pay for an upgrade to car they don't even have. Unbelievable. I used to work for enterprise and we never made the customer wait for something we didn't have. Won't come back here again. This has happened more than once, and I'm sure it will continue to happen. Can I give it zero stars? Spoke to representative last night to rent a car for the weekend to go upstate for a funeral. Said we would pick up at 12:30. At 1:10 they waited on us and then said we needed, in addition to two forms of ID one or two utility bills and pay stubs. What the heck? We left without a rental. Never, ever again. I had one of the worst experiences ever in my rental life. I specifically called to say I was booking from Wednesday 5.30pm to Saturday 5.30pm and I was told the office is closed then but if I drop the keys in the return box I should be fine and won't be charged. I check my account to find out I have been charged to Monday (5) days instead of the 3 days I reserved it for. I called to find out why I was told they don't open over the weekend till Monday. If that was so, why didn't you tell me that when I was coming for the car? They could have told me to send it somewhere else which opens and I could have saved myself $150. They said they would call me back and it's been 3 days now, nothing. I'm done with these guys. Both my husband and myself rented cars at enterprise recently. I was pleased with the customer service i received at this location. The employee that helped me was very pleasant and efficient. My husband would like the gas tank to be full when renting a car. That is the only thing that annoyed him. read more

Sorry but I would really like to give zero stars. The Langhorne location deserves this shout out. We stopped in to get a rental after an accident the previous night and had an enterprise employee bring a vehicle out of the wash shed and run into the back of our vehicle while we were backing out. Instead of being an upstanding group of people and take accountability in their part of the accident, they simply stated the law and said you were backing out so you are 100% at fault and hung us out to dry, not an even an 'it was both our faults'. Will never step into this place again and will steer anyone away if possible. read more

This Enterprise Fairless Hills, Pa is by far the BEST in service!! Due to the most recent storm I had to rent a car, I arrived late but I was still accommodated. The guys in the office are all kind, engaging and professional. Oh, and good looking . Today one day after the rental, the office called to make sure all is well. That's A1 service!! This office should be a model used for ALL rental car places to immulate. I will recommend this location to all my friends, family and co-workers. Went to this Enterprise to pick up the "Luxury" vehicle I reserved a week prior, only to be told they didn't have the vehicle I reserved on the lot, they sent it out for a chip in the windshield. How about a phone call? I will not do business with Enterprise in the future. read more

Check the tires of the car you're renting before driving off the lot!!! Just rented an economy car and returning home from my trip, noticed one of the tires was of a different brand than the other three and worn down so significantly, I'm lucky it didn't blow out on me while on the highway!!! Customer service at this location was average at best, but double, even triple check the car (besides scratches and dents), before renting. read more

The people at the office were very nice and polite and clearly uncomfortable with the situation. I reserved the car on line for 12 noon. I arrived at 12:45 and it took an hour for me to get into a car. they said they did not have what I requested available and had to move it from their overflow lot. after a 30 minute wait, another customer turned in his car. the guy at the office went out and "cleaned" it and gave it to me because it was obvious the other rental wouldn't be arriving anytime soon. I made my car rental through Hotwire when booking my flight to Trenton Airport. My reservation stated we would be picked up by Enterprise since it was offsite. After waiting 15 minutes and watching 2 other car rental vans picking up their customers, we went inside the airport to find out if Enterprise had a different pickup spot. To our surprise there was an Enterprise Rental inside Trenton Airport. She said Fairless Hills Enterprise doesn't pickup at Airport. I was offered a rental at that location for 4 times what I paid on line. I called Fairless Hills, Ryan said that Hotwire did not provide my phone number on reservation so he could not contact me. He said that I could take Uber to his location and he would reimburse me. It was so nice after the stress of the mix up to be offered a solution to the problem that wasn't going to cost extra. We were greeted by Ryan when we entered. He immediately apologized for the mix up and inconvenience. We were quickly given our vehicle and on our way. Ryan was very understanding and extremely professional. I received reimbursement for Uber on my bill, just as he said. Ryan also called me after our trip to ensure that we had no issue with the vehicle. The Jeep was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location to rent your vehicle. read more

First time renting from these guys and Bill and crew were professional and efficient. They did the obligatory sell for the additional coverage but after explaining my credit card covered it then up sell stopped which was much appreciated. They were just getting used to their tablet things they just started using but no delays and PDF the thing was able to tell them the miles and mileage on the cars that helped me decide on the car ...nice concept. I guess I lucked out when I went as I was surprised on how many cars they had. Bill the mgr explained they had a number of cars returned so was given the option of 4 cars in my class . I took the Red Charger with the lowest miles . Car ran good no issues . Return was easy no problems there either. In closing customer service was excellent and car ran good what more can you ask for in a car rental company other than a cheaper price but that goes for everything .
