Again, a wonderful experience renting a vehicle at the Enterprise, Alabama location. Vehicle was ready to drive when we arrived at our rental time, gas tank was full, vehicle clean inside and out - everything one would expect from a vehicle rental office. We had the pleasure of working with Ms. Abby McSween, who greeted us with a smile, checked us in, throughly briefed us on the vehicle and the options, and had us on our way in less than 15 minutes. Can't say enough about her professionalism and customer service. Thank you Enterprise! read more

0 Stars - Reservation Meant Nothing If I could give 0 stars, I would. I made a reservation in advance, expecting that a vehicle would actually be available when I arrived. Instead, I was told there were no cars available, making my reservation completely pointless. What's the purpose of allowing customers to reserve a vehicle if you can't honor the reservation? It wasted my time, disrupted my plans, and showed a lack of organization and respect for customers. The staff offered no meaningful solution or accountability--just excuses. A reservation should provide peace of mind, not uncertainty. I would not recommend Enterprise based on this experience. If you have important travel plans, don't assume your reservation guarantees you'll actually have a car waiting for you. read more

I called to make reservations over a month before I planned the trip. I even called twice to sure that I would get the standard crossover SUV but when I went to pick it up no SuV. I get a minivan instead which rode horrible. My back hurt the whole ride. There was an Expedition there at the time but they gave it to another customer My reservations were made way in advance, so what is the excuse? I will never use this company again and I plan to file a complaint with the corporate office. Also there was only one half a tank of gas in the minivan. read more

Would be nice if I could get someone to answer a phone. Tried to call and find out what they had available for a week rental. After 20 minutes of Enterprise moving you forward commercial I gave up. At the very least answer the phone, and say SOMETHING . read more

Had an appointment to pick up a car while mine is being repaired. Waited over 30 mins outside to even be spoken to while multiple people who walked in after we're served immediately. Additionally, despite there being multiple individuals who had appointments at 8 we were told the cars were not clean or ready so it would be another hour and a half to get a car. When they finally had a car ready, it was not a full size it was a compact with cigarette ashes scattered, a check engine light on, and not even a full tank of gas. One individual who had a reservation and was driving to catch a flight was told their car wasn't ready nor would it be for a couple hours and they could accept a dirty car for the same price or wait. Do NOT recommend. read more

The fist thing I noticed was how clean the office was, spotless even. I was greeted warmly and was impressed from the minute I walked in. Austin helped me and this kid needs a raise! He was kind, very professional and knowledgeable, patient, just an exemplary example of great customer service overall. I wish I could hire 9 of him. My car clean was exactly what I'd imagined. I'm well over 4 hours into my adventure to Huntsville and everything is rolling smoothly. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone reading this! Austin, if you ever decide to leave enterprise I've got a job for you! read more

0 star if I could . Absolutely worst place to rent a car with . Absolutely horrible services. Should have listened to the review and not booked here but in Dothan location instead. Made a reservation two weeks prior. On the week of rental , I called ahead and make sure they have a full sized car available . But on Friday , appointment time at 12 pm , I came and guess what ? No cars available , they told me to go and give me a call when they have it available . Fast forward 2 hrs latr, I called and finally have a broken ( no car jack ) / ugly /smelly / needed curb alignment / windshield wipers need replacement . If not because I needed a car to go on my trip I would never have that car. Been a loytaly member and have high tier on national car : I'm executive elite with national and platinum with enterprise for years. This location is horrible, they told me the same story they told everyone else. Like they called me and couldn't contact me they don't have a rental for my sizes available at all. ( It's all lied and I called them out on their B.s.) they used the same trick with other customers saying they called them ( see other reviews for the same story) . The customer services is absolutely trash at this location , they just don't care for their member at all . read more

Awful. I've been waiting over an hour to pick up a car. I have no idea what these people are doing. How do you run a business this way? Go somewhere if you can. read more

Horrible phone customer service. I rented a car from this location weekly for almost 2 months. I could NEVER get someone to answer the phone. The corporate people could not renew my rental since it was an insurance claim. I have no idea how a business can stay open if they don't answer the phone. Every week, I had to drive to the location at renew! So frustrating. When I called I would be immediately put on hold and typically after holding for 30 minutes, someone would pick up the phone and disconnect without saying a word!!! read more

I needed a car for a week while my car is being repaired and they gave me The most disgusting car! Dirt from the front seat to the back. Trash under my seat, ants, cigarette odor, stains, and the exterior definitely had not been washed. They are promoting an higher level of cleaning And sanitizing but someone just dropped t hi is car off and they risked my health to make a $1!!! I'm LIVID.No other car offered when I asked. He just whisked it away to vacuum it and it Still looked Horrible. Had to be at work 45 minutes away and was forced to take it. Called 3x to resolve it and was given False info or told I'm sorry there's nothing I can do. Still have not received a callback from Resolution Dpt. I was told they will take a 1000 reservations and know they only have 2 cars! First come First serve. All about commission. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - The FILTH they gave me with a Smile! - Car Rental Near Me - Enterprise, Alabama

Horrible rental car agency! I would give it ZERO stars if i could! The only reason myself and most of the other people around town rent from this place is because they're the only ones in town. This place has over charged me and said I had the vehicle longer than I did which resulted in corporate having to get involved and refunding me. On this last trip I booked a vehicle to be picked up at 12 noon, it wasn't ready until 5pm, I was advised I would be given an upgrade due to the issue, that never happened. Instead I got a small car, that was out of fuel and running on fumes. Even the service engine/maintenance light was on! The car was dirty and full of used napkins and cigarette butts. On top of that it had the strong odor of cigarette smoke! This was by far the worst vehicle I have ever rented from enterprise and will definitely consider driving the extra 25 miles to the next city to rent from another company. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Low quality service this place provides! - Car Rental Near Me - Enterprise, Alabama

I had a rental car reserved for 9am because of an insurance claim. By 11am--my first opportunity to get the the rental facility, there are no cars available. They suggested I come back in an hour. Of course that in noon--and when I get back, they all decide to take lunch. I finally get into the car at 1250. Everyone I encountered was border-line rude or indifferent. Parker seemed to energize the other workers--he did not get there until about 1215. It was a train wreck of an experience--I was not the only waiting over an hour between 11 and 12. A lady that was there before my arrival at 11 didn't get her car until well after 12. Enterprise (the city needs) more options. read more

Had an appointment to pick up a car at noon that didn't end up being ready until 2:30pm. Will never go through them again

A big shout out to the Enterprise Car Rental Team in Enterprise, Alabama. Great group of professionals with a very friendly and customer oriented manager. She works hard to take care of her customers, coach her staff, and ensure the quality assurance with all vehicles exiting her store. Vehicles are always very clean, in great mechanical shape, and the process from walking in the door to driving away is quick and efficient. We have rented at this location many times and are always treated well. I have seen the manager personally get involved with resolving customer requests and in all my visits I have never witnessed a non-satisfied customer. If anyone is looking for a vehicle rental in the Enterprise - Dothan - Ozark area - strongly recommend the Enterprise Car Rental store in Enterprise, Alabama. read more

don't trust these people if you need a rental. I reserved a vehicle and told after we arrived at our scheduled time and was told it would be 30 minutes. after the 30 minutes they called and said it would be another hour. my husband said fine we will be back at 9am next day but when I checked my reservation it was gone and no reservatio was held for me. I've been waiting 4 days now for the district manager to call me. don't trust thes people with anything important like movin, weddings or vacation!!! i made this reservation well in advance. read more

Horrible experience! If I could give zero stars I would. Don't ever return a car after hours as they will not be correct in closing out your invoice. They overcharged me $80 with no explanation why. I returned a 1-way rental early and clean and they went way over the estimated charges. When I called to figure out why they overcharged me they kept forgetting they had me on hold. I will never use them again! read more

Beware! If you have any other option do not rent from this location. They always take more reservations than they have cars for. Doesnt matter how far in advance you book your rental will not be available when you get there. I've been there when they have turned people away and laughed about it after they were out the door. read more

Worse enterprise rental car location I've ever gone to. Made a reservation one day and they ran out of cars before i got there and didn't hold my reservation. Made another for a different day and tried to call before going so i wouldn't make another blank trip and I've now been on hold for over 50 minutes. Not to mention I've heard someone on 3 different instances pick up the phone and instantly place it back on hold without saying anything. Avoid this location and rent anywhere but here. read more

Absolutely awful. Had a reservation and was not seen for at least an hour. No cars available. Stood outside with 6 other people. The poor guys working are trying their best but why the heck is the company allowing people to make reservations with no cars available. Do not go here. Just save yourself some time and don't. read more

Hi my name is Chef Purdie, and I rent from Enterprise Rent -A-car on a regular bases for my weekend get away's and my business. Each time that I have reserved and picked up my car, They were always clean and ready to go. The employees are professionally trained and well staffed on the weekend specials and holidays. They know me by name and face and treat me with the upmost respect. So on several occasions I have been given a free car up grade on my rental if the type of car I requested is not available or long waiting time. Manager Trainee Ms. Eloira Lawrence is very friendly and professional in dealing with any issues that may occur beyond her control. The pick up driver Mr. Jessie is outstanding and retired Marine veteran who makes you feel very safe and comfortable with his driving. Sincerely, B Purdie Sr. read more

Basically rented me a glorified go cart. I think if they know your insurance is going to pay and you need a car ASAP and they are the only place you can get one from they give you the crappiest car on the lot. My money is just as good as someone who is paying to go away for the weekend. They seriously need more options. I am wondering if they are running a scam with the body shop because I kept being reassured the whole time they had a direct line back and forth and kept pushing my car due date back until I had had it almost the full 30 days allotted by my insurance company. I would never willingly use them again. read more

Made online reservations for a full sized car during an online special. It was a really good deal which was why we used them as opposed to nearby rentals. When I arrived I gave them my info. The sales woman looked up my reservation and asked me how I was paying. As I was handing over my credit card I realized she hadn't confirmed what my reservation was. I asked her to confirm the reservation I'd made online. I'm glad I did because the first thing she said was that her store wasn't going to honor the online special. So disappointed! She was two seconds from running my credit card for full price. When I asked her why she wouldn't honor the online sale she said they were running that sale next weekend. No apology, no anything else. I think she still expected me to keep the reservation because she gave me the total and asked for my card. I said no thanks (she was pretty shocked). I ended up leaving and going with a nearby rental. Don't know if it was just her that was scammy or the whole store but won't do business with them again. read more

Seriously great service from obviously over worked staff. They (or most of the times that I have been there, she {Miranda, I believe}), has done an outstanding job juggling rentals, turn-ins, cleaning, phone calls, etc. she is super friendly and efficient. As can be expected when there is only one person in the office, there is waiting, but she takes the time needed with every customer. read more

Received a phone call that my rental car was ready for pickup while mine was getting repaired. I told them thank you for the call that I would be on my way. They never offered to come pick me up which I thought was their thing. Anyways, when I arrived I waited in a long line outside. It's Friday totally understandable. When it was my turn they told me that my car was not ready and they would come get me when it was. I said wait a minute I just received a call saying that my rental was ready for pickup. He said well we didn't call you. I looked at my caller ID on my phone and pointed to him and said that must of been another enterprise rent a car that I have a reservation with? I think he got my point. Anyways was there for 1.5 hours until finally they drove up this wet dirty car and said my car was ready. I signed for the car and drove out. Got about 3/4 of the way home and the gas light came on. My fault for not looking at that. I have used these guys in the past and it has been the same. The service here is terrible and they really don't care about it. read more

We rented a car this past weekend to make a quick trip to help my parents pack to move. The rental process was quick & easy, we were prepared for a carefree rental experience. We were told one thing that caused me some pause, they would be placing a hold on $200 (car rental was only $89) until the vehicle was returned. We rented Thurs-Sun, returned at 2pm Sun, figuring our $ would be returned by late Monday evening. Well that didn't happen, my husband DID call Monday & was THEN told there would be a 24hr hold before our $ was returned (24 hrs from when? They already had the car!?!). It is 3pm on Tuesday & still no $. I called waited on a repetitive recording hold for 45 minutes & spoke with an employee, WHO RELEASED THE HOLD WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH ME, said it was up to the bank as to when we would get it back(). I asked if he had just released it he said "well yes ma'am we have to talk to the custom to find out when the car was returned" (we filled out the paperwork to leave in the car with the date & time), he also said "sometimes we get real busy". I told him that my husband spoke with someone the day before & that should've been handled at that point. This delay has caused us issues with our bank, nothing other than a "gee wiz ma'am I'm sorry", was offered for thier lackadaisical approach to thier jobs & the handling of other people's finances. *may I also mention that the car had a blown headlight that we were unaware of & pulled over for? read more
