I called to make reservations over a month before I planned the trip. I even called twice to sure that I would get the standard crossover SUV but when I went to pick it up no SuV. I get a minivan instead which rode horrible. My back hurt the whole ride. There was an Expedition there at the time but they gave it to another customer My reservations were made way in advance, so what is the excuse? Had an appointment to pick up a car while mine is being repaired. Waited over 30 mins outside to even be spoken to while multiple people who walked in after we're served immediately. Additionally, despite there being multiple individuals who had appointments at 8 we were told the cars were not clean or ready so it would be another hour and a half to get a car. When they finally had a car ready, it was not a full size it was a compact with cigarette ashes scattered, a check engine light on, and not even a full tank of gas. One individual who had a reservation and was driving to catch a flight was told their car wasn't ready nor would it be for a couple hours and they could accept a dirty car for the same price or wait. The fist thing I noticed was how clean the office was, spotless even. I was greeted warmly and was impressed from the minute I walked in. Austin helped me and this kid needs a raise! He was kind, very professional and knowledgeable, patient, just an exemplary example of great customer service overall. I wish I could hire 9 of him. My car clean was exactly what I'd imagined. 0 star if I could . Absolutely worst place to rent a car with . Absolutely horrible services. Should have listened to the review and not booked here but in Dothan location instead. Made a reservation two weeks prior. On the week of rental , I called ahead and make sure they have a full sized car available . But on Friday , appointment time at 12 pm , I came and guess what ? No cars available , they told me to go and give me a call when they have it available . Fast forward 2 hrs latr, I called and finally have a broken ( no car jack ) / ugly /smelly / needed curb alignment / windshield wipers need replacement . If not because I needed a car to go on my trip I would never have that car. Been a loytaly member and have high tier on national car : I'm executive elite with national and platinum with enterprise for years. This location is horrible, they told me the same story they told everyone else. Like they called me and couldn't contact me they don't have a rental for my sizes available at all. ( It's all lied and I called them out on their B.s.) they used the same trick with other customers saying they called them ( see other reviews for the same story) . Horrible phone customer service. I rented a car from this location weekly for almost 2 months. I could NEVER get someone to answer the phone. The corporate people could not renew my rental since it was an insurance claim. I have no idea how a business can stay open if they don't answer the phone. Every week, I had to drive to the location at renew! So frustrating. When I called I would be immediately put on hold and typically after holding for 30 minutes, someone would pick up the phone and disconnect without saying a word!!! read more

Trash under my seat, ants, cigarette odor, stains, and the exterior definitely had not been washed. Horrible rental car agency! I would give it ZERO stars if i could! The only reason myself and most of the other people around town rent from this place is because they're the only ones in town. This place has over charged me and said I had the vehicle longer than I did which resulted in corporate having to get involved and refunding me. On this last trip I booked a vehicle to be picked up at 12 noon, it wasn't ready until 5pm, I was advised I would be given an upgrade due to the issue, that never happened. Instead I got a small car, that was out of fuel and running on fumes. Even the service engine/maintenance light was on! The car was dirty and full of used napkins and cigarette butts. On top of that it had the strong odor of cigarette smoke! This was by far the worst vehicle I have ever rented from enterprise and will definitely consider driving the extra 25 miles to the next city to rent from another company. read more

I had a rental car reserved for 9am because of an insurance claim. By 11am--my first opportunity to get the the rental facility, there are no cars available. They suggested I come back in an hour. Of course that in noon--and when I get back, they all decide to take lunch. I finally get into the car at 1250. Everyone I encountered was border-line rude or indifferent. Parker seemed to energize the other workers--he did not get there until about 1215. It was a train wreck of an experience--I was not the only waiting over an hour between 11 and 12. A lady that was there before my arrival at 11 didn't get her car until well after 12. Enterprise (the city needs) more options. read more

Basically rented me a glorified go cart. I think if they know your insurance is going to pay and you need a car ASAP and they are the only place you can get one from they give you the crappiest car on the lot. My money is just as good as someone who is paying to go away for the weekend. They seriously need more options. I am wondering if they are running a scam with the body shop because I kept being reassured the whole time they had a direct line back and forth and kept pushing my car due date back until I had had it almost the full 30 days allotted by my insurance company. Made online reservations for a full sized car during an online special. It was a really good deal which was why we used them as opposed to nearby rentals. When I arrived I gave them my info. The sales woman looked up my reservation and asked me how I was paying. As I was handing over my credit card I realized she hadn't confirmed what my reservation was. I asked her to confirm the reservation I'd made online. I'm glad I did because the first thing she said was that her store wasn't going to honor the online special. So disappointed! She was two seconds from running my credit card for full price. When I asked her why she wouldn't honor the online sale she said they were running that sale next weekend. No apology, no anything else. I think she still expected me to keep the reservation because she gave me the total and asked for my card. I said no thanks (she was pretty shocked). Received a phone call that my rental car was ready for pickup while mine was getting repaired. I told them thank you for the call that I would be on my way. They never offered to come pick me up which I thought was their thing. Anyways, when I arrived I waited in a long line outside. It's Friday totally understandable. When it was my turn they told me that my car was not ready and they would come get me when it was. I said wait a minute I just received a call saying that my rental was ready for pickup. He said well we didn't call you. I looked at my caller ID on my phone and pointed to him and said that must of been another enterprise rent a car that I have a reservation with? I think he got my point. Anyways was there for 1.5 hours until finally they drove up this wet dirty car and said my car was ready. I signed for the car and drove out. Got about 3/4 of the way home and the gas light came on. My fault for not looking at that. I have used these guys in the past and it has been the same. We rented a car this past weekend to make a quick trip to help my parents pack to move. The rental process was quick & easy, we were prepared for a carefree rental experience. We were told one thing that caused me some pause, they would be placing a hold on $200 (car rental was only $89) until the vehicle was returned. We rented Thurs-Sun, returned at 2pm Sun, figuring our $ would be returned by late Monday evening. Well that didn't happen, my husband DID call Monday & was THEN told there would be a 24hr hold before our $ was returned (24 hrs from when? They already had the car!?!). It is 3pm on Tuesday & still no $. I called waited on a repetitive recording hold for 45 minutes & spoke with an employee, WHO RELEASED THE HOLD WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH ME, said it was up to the bank as to when we would get it back(). I asked if he had just released it he said "well yes ma'am we have to talk to the custom to find out when the car was returned" (we filled out the paperwork to leave in the car with the date & time), he also said "sometimes we get real busy". I told him that my husband spoke with someone the day before & that should've been handled at that point. This delay has caused us issues with our bank, nothing other than a "gee wiz ma'am I'm sorry", was offered for thier lackadaisical approach to thier jobs & the handling of other people's finances. *may I also mention that the car had a blown headlight that we were unaware of & pulled over for? read more
