I rented a car from Enterprise twice since January because my own car has been having issues and needed repairs. Both times were handled by Art. He was very helpful, kind, and professional. He answered all my questions and helped me the best he could. The first car I got was a big van because it was the last one in the inventory, Enterprise let me switch to Jeep later on, and all process went smoothly. Second time I had a Camry. This particular office in Cranberry NJ has great service. Was happy to get a Toyota RAV4 (vs an 'equivalent' of a lower standard quality car). The vehicle was clean and the service was very helpful. I called to determine how to get my iPhone connected with the navigation system, and how to return the car keys after the rental site was closed. I got different representatives, but both were competent and able to help me. I used this car rental site (versus renting from the airport) since I was renting for a long time, two weeks plus, which was significantly cheaper. read more

I am enterprise customer since 20 years. Had always great experience. Recently when I reserved my rental car from this location, they called me 30 min before and told my type of car not available within 100 miles. It was a nightmare due to emergency from my family. The guy did a rude behavior. Although he promised me to send a cancellation note it never came. Surprisingly I got similar car from Hillsborough location. Later I heard similar cases from my friend. I have had a few occasions to rent from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Cranbury - and usually when you're in need of a rental locally like this you're having a rough go. The staff at Cranbury has always been very good. Saturday was the most recent need for a rental. 'Frank' was very accommodating, thorough, and friendly - even as his office overflowed with traffic as the office was nearing the early close time of 1pm. The second nod we'd like to make is to 'Teresa.' We dropped the clean, 4k mile, newer car we rented off on Sunday utilizing the late night drop off box. Called in before 8AM Monday and was greeted by Teresa - who had made it in despite the blizzard. She already had processed the car and we had our price and the rental was complete. I've been singing the car repair blues recently and needed to rent a car for four days. I was greeted promptly and personably. The check-in was fast and easy. The terms were explained clearly and concisely on the paperwork, and within minutes I was on my way in a well-maintained Chevy SUV. The car was clean and smelled good. The return process was equally as easy. I liked that the customer service rep remembered me, and asked about how my car repairs went, etc. One service that Enterprise offers - at no additional charge - is a free ride locally (pick up or drop off). For example, to the garage or back home. I would definitely rent from this location again! One consumer tip - make a reservation ahead of time to get the car that you want. This location does a good job. They are open on Sundays which is nice. They also have a night drop box which is helpful too. If you reserve online they don't know about the night drop but it does exist. Customer service is good. I do know that parking is limited here. Cars have been towed that were left overnight in the restaurant parking lot, next door. read more

I can not complaina about this place. I was picked up promptly- they said 15 min and they were there in 15 ( i didnt believe them so i wasnt even ready on time .. lol). But, my enterprise rep was very sweet from small talk in the car to getting my car, everything was swift and smooth. I tacked off 2 stars for 2 reasons: 1-Selection: selection for standard cars was non existent. I went in there and they had one crappy car ( i forgot the name of the car, its the one J.Lo endorses). 2- Condition of the car. I got it messy. I mean it wasnt gross, but it was not vaccumed or anything. Made a reservation had my time confirmed spoke to the office the day before to confirm again and nothing went as planned. Received a call the day I was supposed to pick up the vehicle at 7:30 a.m. Yes, 7:30 in the morning 10 to 4 me my rental wouldn't be ready at 10. Instead it would be ready around 11 or 12. The whole time dealing with the two employees Desmond and Malcolm a nasty attitude. I guess everybody at the location lacks proper customer service skills taking my money elsewhere because they're terrible. read more

While my car in the repair shop, I needed a rental to go to work and Enterprise fit the bill. Located in a small shop off of Rt 130, it's very easy to miss. When I called to get pick-up service, I was told it could take an hour because they were a bit backed up, but to my pleasant surprise, the driver arrived 30 minutes later. Once inside, service was super friendly and efficient. My rental - a 2015 Nissan Altima was clean and nice to drive. When I returned my rental, they even offered a ride back home. Arrived 2 hours after an ETA to pick up a business rental and was told my car was rented and all that was available was a more expensive rental. The car was clean, new and nice. No issues. Upon return I noticed a charge for a GPS I hadn't requested nor received. It was adjusted when I pointed it out. In addition, I scheduled my return for 12:15 and arrived on time. However, I had to wait 20 minutes for the ride back to my office, so timeliness is a one way street. I've rented from this office before and have been satisfied. I had a terrific experience with this Enterprise office. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! When I dropped off the car, I needed a ride back to the home where I was staying. They gave me a lift, dropped me off and drove off. A minute later the car returned - I had dropped my phone on the floor under the seat. My son was calling, so the Enterprise person heard the ring and immediately came back to return my phone. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! Unorganized and unprofessional. Don't bother wasting your time.

It's a pandemic - my hope when I had to get a rental car was that preventative measures were being taken, especially when it came to cleanliness. Terrible experience. I picked up my rental and the initial car they were going to give me was disgustingly dirty: food crumbs and drink stains along the doors and in the grooves of the console. It looks like they wiped the inside of the car down with a dirty rag, there were streaks everywhere. Stains on the back seat, I don't even want to know what those were. And the outside of the car was wiped down with another dirty rag and you could see the circular paths of where it had been "washed". Again, it's a pandemic. I complained and returned the car. The next car they gave me was only slightly less dirty. I had to clean the entire car before I felt comfortable even sitting in it. I was already stressed about a work trip during a pandemic, but that experience added to my stress and was a terrible customer experience. CLEAN YOUR CARS. Maybe even clean your cars when there isn't a deadly virus going around. Just a tip, from a customer who will never come back to Enterprise. read more

Mixed bag - their 12 passenger vans are more expensive than at the Lawrence office, but their SUVs are cheaper. These guys definitely had more foresight though than the Lawrence people as they anticipated the van recalls. The Lawrence office informed me of the unavailability of the 12 p vans a day before rental. I rented a regular SUV for 8 passengers, but got a premium Toyota Land Cruiser ($86000) for the same amount as a regular SUV ($92/day). Steven (not sure if that's his name), was very helpful, respectful and remembered everyone's last name who were waiting. A rarity nowadays. The only drawback to this place is the distance from my house and they don't drive me either way. read more

Not the best location to easily find or access. On two previous occasions was told I could get a ride home. I called to confirm just before returning the car and got someone at a central office who said I lived too far. Having no one to pick me up on a work day, in a panic I chose a different phone menu option and got Rich at the local office who said there was no problem. This miscommunication detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. On the plus side, no complaint about the car other than its lack of power. They are open on Sunday. Rich and Stephanie were terrific though too busy to handle the substantial office traffic and often the phone was not answered. They need additional help. The only reason why I am not giving Enterprise 5 stars is because of their policy changes where if you want to rent a car on a Friday at 5pm you cannot return it on Saturday before 5pm because they are closed at 1pm. They used to just say leave the keys in the box along with the paperwork. Now you will be charged for two days because they are closed when you return. I just think that if I am registered on your website and I have a good record of returns then I should be trusted enough to just leave the keys and be charged for the one day. In any case, the service was great. The representative, I can't remember her name was friendly and knowledgeable. She also assisted my husband when he returned the car. He has an issue with his back that makes it painful for him to walk. She came out to the car and helped him check out and found a couple of things including his cell phone that he dropped in the car.
