They really should weed eat the weeds and improve the view. No cell service at all with Verizon. No WiFi available. No bathrooms or showers but full hookups. Laundry was a small shed and it was very hot in that shed. It was 4th of July weekend and the boat ramp was next to our site. Very busy. It's quiet once the boat crowed left. We left early due to no cell service and bad weather approaching. Starlink is a must if you stay here.

The owners/hosts are very friendly. There is a nice dock to sit on or fish off of down by the boat ramp. There is also a basketball goal and playset that the kids in the campground enjoyed. We happened to be there on there Halloween celebration weekend. They had trick or treating and a chili cookoff as well as a site decorating contest. They also had some very nice prizes for the winners! They also had live music. There is no wifi or antenna signal. If you have good wifi on your phone, you may be able to get a low signal depending on your carrier. The town is very small and we did eat at the Overlook restaurant, which was very good but a little on the pricey side. Overall a very pleasant weekend!

Our tour guide was Carly and she was fabulous, too. The distillery doesn't make much alcohol anymore, but Weller is still made and sold at Buffalo Trace, I believe. We also enjoyed some drinks and charcuterie at the Garden and Gun Club upstairs after our tour, and the charcuterie was top notch - beautiful presentation, and great meats and cheeses and accoutrements. I would definitely come back here again and do a tour or just come for a drink or two.
