Renting a vehicle usually comes with varying degrees of hassle--whether it's being told there are no available cars when you arrive or being hit with unexpected fees later. In fact, things got so bad that I'm now on Enterprise Rent-A-Car's do-not-rent list. That's a whole other story, but it's also why I found Beep Beep Jeep while planning my 25th wedding anniversary trip with my wife. Sure, I was a bit skeptical when Beep Beep Jeep asked for the full cost of my rental up front months ago when I made my reservation, but honestly, I had little choice but to trust them. Enterprise owns most of the other car rental companies too, and they all share the same list. Beep Beep Jeep was pretty much my last resort--and I'm SO GLAD they were! When Lesty texted to say he was on his way to deliver the Jeep to us at the airport, I couldn't believe my eyes when he showed up. The back seat was filled with gold balloons and a personalized sign congratulating us on our 25th anniversary! But even better, there was an ice chest with Medalla Light and a bottle of champagne in the back! It. Blew. My. MIND! And to top it off, this wasn't just any Jeep Wrangler--it was a fully decked-out Willys edition with huge tires and all the bells and whistles! It was perfect. Lesty handed me the key and... that was it. Nothing to sign, nothing more to do. We just jumped in and drove off. I can't emphasize enough how glad I am that I had that Willys to drive around Puerto Rico. If you've never been to Puerto Rico before, you're in for a bit of culture shock with how people drive here--no one drives (or parks) like they're supposed to, and it's going to freak you out. Trust me. To make things more challenging, most of the roads are quite narrow with little to no shoulder. If you're planning to drive to the middle of the island, like to the Orocovis area, you need nothing less than one of these Jeeps. Trust me on this! The roads are full of blind hairpin turns on the windiest roads you've ever encountered. YOU NEED THIS JEEP! Your life may depend on it. You do not want to be driving these roads with these crazy Puerto Rician drivers in anything less. I cannot say enough about Beep Beep Jeep's service--just perfect. Lesty texted me a few hours before I was scheduled to have him pick up the Jeep and he told me to keep it for the rest of the night. Said he'd pick it up if I just left it in a parking garage in Old San Juan. And that's what I did--with only a half tank of gas (even though it was supposed to be full). I wanted to see if Beep Beep Jeep would hit me with a crazy expensive "fill-up fee," but no--they only charged my card $44.60, which is roughly what it would have cost me to top it off myself. To say I am pleasantly amazed with Beep Beep Jeep is an understatement.

A row of pristine clean cars. I picked one, got in it and left. When I returned it I pulled up and another super nice guy looked at my papers and said "you owe zero dollars have a nice flight." And I went on my way. THANK YOU ALAMO !! I will always use Alamo anywhere now, I've never had such great and easy service in such a long time.

the fine people at this location made it almost a pleasure to part with the money required to rent…read moremy vehicle. for the last three years or so, i've gone to visit my family for christmas. i don't know why, but i've NEVER rented a car when i go! this time my brother and his family were able to go to, and he's the one that actually put the idea in my head to actually get a car. the gentleman at the counter was very professional (unfortunately, this is a rarity in puerto rico. maybe in the touristy parts of the the island, but not where i am when i visit) and got both my brother and me out of there in a hurry. my car (ford escape) had nine whole miles on the odometer, my brother's nissan rogue had about that many as well. this was cheaper than the rental my brother was looking at, and that was BEFORE the twenty percent discount! certainly worth a look if you ever find yourself in the jewel of the caribbean, and i'd be willing to bet the people at the location near luis muñoz marin international airport would be able to sort you out in english. i'm very much looking forward to doing business with them again this christmas. eric b
