They provide reservations that they can't honor when you show up. They try to switch you to other cars, either a lower priced car without lowering your price you reserved, or a more expensive car, and they'll charge you the increase. Worse yet, they may not even have a car available at all and you're stuck with nothing. They don't care either, it's pretty obvious how they treat you. The local office referred me to talk to the company's customer service and they were horrible as well. There are better rental car companies, I've had a much better experience at Enterprise rental car. Avis/Budget company is not customer service oriented. Don't be fooled by their lower price when you shop on Expedia or elsewhere. Bait and switch at it's worse. Who owns this company now? It can't be the same. They are trash.

He apparently saw that the Enterprise Roadside Assistance (ERA) person I had talked to had put them down as where I should go to get a replacement for a rental with mechanical problems. He took the trouble of calling me ten minutes after I got off the phone with ERA to say they didn't have a replacement car for me and that I should really go to the Springfield Town Center store instead (which I did. See my review of them). I just want to say I think that is pretty professional of him. Thanks, Keith, for saving me a trip and the frustration I would have otherwise experienced! Word to the wise, folks: Always call Enterprise Roadside Assistance when you have a problem with one of their rentals. They'll help you get on the right track, and they notify the store you're coming!

Dishonest, I Went to this location bc of an insurance claim. Then when I went to return the rental…read moreI was blindsided with a $589 bill. This charge was unexpected and, in my view, unjustified based on how the rental was handled by your team. When I arrived at your branch at 7500 Fullerton Road in Springfield Virginia I requested a Toyota Camry that I saw in the lot--a standard vehicle that I knew would fall within the limits of my Geico rental reimbursement. I was told the only Camry belonged to an employee and that no other vehicles were available except a Ford Expedition Max and a mini Cooper (I am 6'5 250lbs by the way). While I didn't object to the SUV itself, I asked multiple times whether my insurance would cover it. I was assured, "they're all the same," which clearly implied there would be no out-of-pocket cost to me. At no point was I informed that I would be personally responsible once my Geico coverage maxed out. There was no communication. I relied on Enterprise's staff to be transparent, and they were not. When I returned to the body shop to retrieve my car, the manager at L&M asked me how I was doing. I expressed my frustration, and he acknowledged that this wasn't the first time he'd seen this happen. He told me, "that Enterprise does this all the time," and cited another customer who had just been charged $110/day for an unintended upgrade... assumably because he had a nice BMW. Clearly, this appears to be a recurring issue at this location. I have tried repeatedly to contact your customer service line with no success. Given the lack of transparency, the misleading responses I was given, and the pattern of this behavior reported by the body shop, I do not recommend this location.

The ladies that work with at this location in Annandale are rude and have poor customer service…read more Specifically a lady there named Brianna. I called asking a simple question about the vehicle I rented from them and she wouldn't let me talk or explain the situation. She didn't listen to what I had say or seem to care. The only semi good thing I have to say about this location is that they were able to help me get the rental in the first place (which is their job), but even then they came off as rude to me and family. Employees barge through doors, colliding and knocking into folks that just spent money renting an Enterprise vehicle! Renters are YELLED AT! That is totally RUDE, UNETHICAL & SNOBBERY! Both female employees here, pugnaciously and disgustingly unfriendly (they are) blame and confront renters over damage that came on used delivered cars (15 minutes ago - the delivery truck is pulling out) from out of state. I am DISGUSTED by 'elizabeth' I refuse to rent Enterprise. She never provided a receipt. She accused us of having had someone KEY the car!?! We (our whole neighborhood, families, friends) will now go to Avis and Hertz. First my credit card was charged $500 deductible, then after fighting back I was refunded. The car we received had 4 severely damaged hubcaps, shredded tires, hood and door + looked like it had just been in a Jason Statham action movie sequence! Absolutely five stars! It's not often anymore that a company will take the time to give both a…read moregreat experience and do right by their customers. So, I want to take a few minutes to genuinely appreciate the staff at the Enterprise car rental in Springfield, VA. We had a surprisingly great experience overall, including working through an unexpected issue. The staff were professional, friendly and great to work with when we picked up our vehicle. There was also a genuine mistake on our rental agreement that no one caught, and not even I saw it until I was getting ready to return the vehicle. I brought it up to the staff, who were very patient, looked into it, and then put me in touch with the branch manager. I was absolutely in a position to be totally screwed over, but instead the branch manager took the time to look into it, speak with me, and at the end of the day - he corrected it and did right by me! Thank you Nathanael (Nate) and team for going above and beyond, and doing right by me! It's easy to give five stars when things are smooth and go as planned. But it's truly a remarkable five stars when hiccups happen, and the customer still walks away going wow- these are some professional hard working folks trying to do their best and doing a great job. Thank you! I am now absolutely a loyal customer and will be back to rent from them whenever we have friends or family come to town.
