The ladies that work with at this location in Annandale are rude and have poor customer service. Specifically a lady there named Brianna. I called asking a simple question about the vehicle I rented from them and she wouldn't let me talk or explain the situation. She didn't listen to what I had say or seem to care. The only semi good thing I have to say about this location is that they were able to help me get the rental in the first place (which is their job), but even then they came off as rude to me and family. Enterprise employees try to 'SKIM' $$ off the top by wantonly sending cars to 'no-name' repair shops. It's a scandalous - sub par - scheme! Employees barge through doors, colliding and knocking into folks that just spent money renting an Enterprise vehicle! Renters are YELLED AT! That is totally RUDE, UNETHICAL & SNOBBERY! Both female employees here, pugnaciously and disgustingly unfriendly (they are) blame and confront renters over damage that came on used delivered cars (15 minutes ago - the delivery truck is pulling out) from out of state. I am DISGUSTED by 'elizabeth' I refuse to rent Enterprise. She never provided a receipt. She accused us of having had someone KEY the car!?! We (our whole neighborhood, families, friends) will now go to Avis and Hertz. First my credit card was charged $500 deductible, then after fighting back I was refunded. The car we received had 4 severely damaged hubcaps, shredded tires, hood and door + looked like it had just been in a Jason Statham action movie sequence! Car was filthy, white "yogurt" stains on seat, not vacuumed or cleaned, make sure they don't rush you checking the car and NOTE every scratch. They hardly answer the phone so if you have issues be prepared to go in. Customer service is terrible except for one person who attempted to have stuff emailed to us and sort of explain the process. For a rental car experience this was as good as it gets. It was easy. It was reasonably priced. Everyone was professional and pleasant. We called ahead and had a time to pick up a vehicle which was available. When we arrived, as if on cue, a couple of flakes fell from the sky and we decided to go with an available SUV (partly because we drive SUVs and there is something to be said for driving something the size and shape with which you are most accustom). Enterprise already had our insurance information. Getting the vehicle was painless. Sean was professional and friendly. As others noted I am pretty sure the cost was lower here; we used the vehicle for a little over two weeks and stayed under the insurance cap. The return was easy. Dealing with the aftermath of a distracted driver in a snowstorm is not something you think of as a positive experience but when all was said and done this was an almost painless process partly because of Enterprise and the team at this location. read more

Enterprise has worked out overall, but I did not have a great experience with this location. I reserved a premium vehicle and called the day before to ensure things were as they should be. And I asked for a pickup from them. The representative said that 12 miles for a pickup was too far. He said that he would transfer my reservation to a location closer to me. Little did I know that he didn't call to confirm car availability as he promised and I was lucky to get a car at the new location. It worked out but this location wasn't helpful. read more

My husband made a reservation online. I showed up to pick it up on a Saturday. Everything was smooth for the pickup. We did not get the car we requested but that was okay the car we got was very similar with enough space. We had the car for a week. Return was fairly simple we did an after hours return. I received a call on Monday to confirm everything was good and that they were refunding my deposit. I had a great experience will probably rent again in the future. Thank you Mark! read more

I received a call 30 minutes before my car rental reservation from the Fairfax location saying "sorry, we won't have cars for hours, but you're welcome to call around or wait for hours at our office". I called this Annandale branch immediately and a new car was arranged quickly by the lovely, professional manager of the Annandale location. Great location next to a coffee shop that opens early in case you arrive too early. They guys at this location is courteous and on point. I never have to wait to pickup a car. Like all enterprise locations I've been to, this one also has a late night drop off box in case you would like to return the car after hours. The rate here is significantly cheaper than Vienna and McLean locations. I got a car for $25 here while Vienna and McLean charged $42 for the same pickup date and time and size of vehicle!! read more

Mixed thoughts on this one because everyone I have come into contact with has been wonderful from the gentleman that picked me up (he's been working there for awhile & he's fantastic), to the store employees, to the managers - superb. Excellent customer service. The drawback - they are always understaffed & you wait to be accommodated. Side note; they strictly promote no smoking in their vehicles but some tool smoked in the minivan (yuck) that I received - it was the ONLY vehicle they had available, and myself & my son are highly sensitive & have allergic reactions to smoke. I ended up buying some air fresheners just to make it bearable to drive the little bit that I did & I had all the windows down on a hot afternoon. There was gas line repairs going on that day so Enterprise was not able to clean the cars like they normally would but it was sad that there was no other option of vehicles. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Booked the car online and when I went to pick it up was told there were no cars available yet I already had a car reserved and confirmed online! I reserved 15 passenger van but got 12 passenger van instead when I picked up on Saturday. I did not realize it until I about to head out for six-hour-long road trip. So I called customer service but they could not do anything about it because the location was closed on Sunday and manager could not be reached. I had to take out personal car and separated the group so that we could head out to our destination. When I got back from the trip and returned the van, I explained the whole situation to on-floor employee which was not manager. He told me that he would let the manager knows and would contact me back. Days passed by and I never received the call. So I dropped by to follow up and the guy still waited for the manager. And weeks passed by, I dropped by again and manager is still no where to be found. And the guy told me again that he could not do anything about it, not even refunding the difference of the van. In fact, he told me that 12 and 15 passenger van are the same rate!!! He offered me a discount for my next rental and maybe a free upgrade. But no, thanks. I don't think I would return to any location of Enterprise again ever!!! read more

Rented several times from this location, as it seems to always have cargo vans available online - other locations you have to call to see if they are available. Location pretty convenient to major roads and the Annandale/Fairfax area - since all other major companies are at airports they are not convenient. I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for service, and staff is friendly and helpful. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Annandale Virginia told me that they did not pick up. I had put the rental request in the system the night before so they had the request when they came into the office the next morning at 7:00 a.m. Then when I called them they told me they couldn't pick me up because it had to be two hours notice -- I was less than 3 miles away and they had the notice in their system at 7:00 a.m. they didn't say they would pick me up at 9:00 a.m. -- they just said NO. The car they gave me had something wrong with the transmission because it skipped all over the place when it changed gears -- it was an automatic. I wouldn't pay $500 bucks for this piece of junk. My advice is go somewhere else to get your car. It seems to me from the previous reviews that the people that work at this location are lazy and lack any semblance of good customer service. So, as an update, I called and changed the car to another car -- a VW Jetta -- what a difference! The individual that helped me did not seem happy to get me a different car, but I did not let her bother me with her attitude. They should never have given me the first car -- it was a disaster. read more

Took my car to Jerry's Ford for an automatic clutch issue under warranty. Was offered a free rental car from Enterprise during the 1-2day repair. Shuttled to local Enterprise, check-out was easy, returned rental car directly to Jerry's Ford. My only complaint was the rental car I received was in the same family as my car & obviously had the same noticeable & unrepaired automatic clutch issue! 2 stars for the expedited service, however that was my downfall. Word of advice, thoroughly inspect the rental vehicle and even take pictures all around the car before and after renting. It took less than 5 minutes in and out that cost me $500. Rental car was garaged at work and at home and when I took it back only two days later, they said they found scratches near the roof. The roof of all places. Good service up until the point of return, then it all became "sorry im just the messenger, i wont even try to give you suggestions or advice". Really bad experience. Rented a car from Annandale location, but returned it to a different location in Temple Hills, MD, just dropped the keys off like I do often. Later that day I called the Annandale location to ensure my record was noted that the car was returned. Yes they say but the Temple Hills office put in a damage claim against me. What I say that is a LIE?? There was no damage and why wasn't I notified? They say the MD office tried calling me but couldn't reach me, another LIE I received no call. So if I hadn't called I wouldn't know. The Annandale staff person tells me he was going to look into it further they had no pictures or anything just what the MD office wrote. Well, I didn't hear back from anyone, so the next day I called Annandale again and was told that they have closed things out on their end and I would receive what was left of my deposit (I used a debit card have to put a deposit). Another day goes by, still not contacted about the damage claim and no returned deposit, I call Annandale again and ask for them to email me my final invoice, they do and what do I find, they kept the remainder of my deposit. I have no pictures of so called damage, wasn't contacted for my statement, and my deposits gone. SCAM. I cannot believe that Enterprise has conducted business in this manner, I've rented from them for years. Warning to all: take pictures or video of the car when you pick up and return and make sure a staff person is with you. read more
