C. for my father's funeral.As I walked up to Enterprise I was saddened, tired distraught and didn't know what I was doing to rent a car . I was greeted by a wonderful woman name Aleana . Avoid Enterprise if you can. I promise, you will have issues! On the 1st time trying to use them, the manager wouldn't let me rent a car using the company credit card because my name wasn't on the card. Again, it's a company card - it wouldn't have my name on it. I told them to call the company, but she refused to call. The 2nd time, they wouldn't allow me to rent a car because my driver's license had a crack - even though she can still see everything. She wanted me to leave and go to the DMV and get a new license. While National's policy is to allow car rentals with a paper renewal license as long as the paper copy is accompanied by the original plastic copy, this location will not accept that. This is the inside of the rental vehicle I picked up arranged through GEICO while my vehicle is being repaired. REALLY!!! This is the second vehicle I received from the Washington Road location that is filthy. Last year my dealership arranged for a long-term rental through this location and there was VOMIT!!! So I am a person with a lot of customer service under my belt and years of service helping the public in the various capacities of my past jobs. Here is one thing I know and can easily observe in being serviced by an individual/establishment, as a whole it is RARE to get what I view as good service while at the same time many people do not have the proper home training to know and understand how to treat others. It is a difficult situation. It is frustrating for both sides and I say all of that to say this. In the space we all live in today most believe they are justified in their opinion, and they are if the situation ONLY involves them. Customer service much like harassment is perspective. In general as a society we do not factor in things being beyond the control of whomever is providing a service due to at that time they are the company we are dealing with and the one that has what we need or want. There are those that confuse needs and wants, look at some of these reviews! 1 star due to the car they rented being the wrong color, or there was a wait or something ultimately that has nothing to do with the service provided. Enough soap boxing, I did not get the best service here. I reserved a vehicle and the day of pickup at 0753 was contacted and told it was not available, granted I made the reservation a day prior, I would have liked a better heads up than this. So why do I say okay in spite of not getting what I wanted? I just went somewhere else and got what I needed. Inconvenient, yes but not a single person was rude and all of my concerns were addressed as best they could be. Ultimately I went with another rental company but will still use whatever place suits my needs. At the end of the day be considerate of one another and remember to treat others the way you want to be treated! I rented a car from the enterprise on Washington road on Sat sep 14th until sat the 21st well I decided to rent it for another week which made it due back on the sat the 28th. Friday the 27th hurricane hellena came thru and destroyed my property and home no way to even walk out of my yard and Tres were down on my house which were blocking the rental car in so I tried calling them on that Monday because they are closed on Sundays and tried calling them every Day that week no answer probly because they were closed just like a lot of places were we couldn't even purchase gas unless it was 50 or more moles out of town so when the trees were removed from my house and from blocking my entrance to the road we live on and my driveway I returned the car and took pics with me and explained to them about the car and luckily it didn't do any damage to their car they told me they would put it up to be looked at but they charged my credit card 535.00 fot that week and 2 days that the car was stuck and it was only 300 for the whole week so I called them about 5 times and wanted to see about getting my money back because of hurricane and no one has contacted me yet and every time the person in charge of complaints reassured me they would call me and get it straight but no one has read more

Avoid the Bobby Jones location at all costs. Their version of customer service is appalling. If you are dealing with someone who holds the title of Assistant Manager there should be a hope of professionalism, courtesy and an attitude of pride in your company. None of this exists, in fact the opposite. Surly, unhelpful, rude, condescending and downright nasty. Was late for my scheduled time and the car was rented to someone else. Frustrating but fixable if the Enterprise employee was willing to work with me and had an attitude of cooperation. Nothing could be further from the truth, she refused to rent me a more expensive car because she didn't like my attitude and told me this was the reason for the non-rental. When corporate reserved me a car at her location she stated it wasn't available. We rent pretty regularly but have switched our business to the Walton Way location. Absolutely worst rental car experience I've ever had. Specifically reserved an suv, was offered 51k mile Chevy Malibu that would not fit my kids car seats. Called multiple times that day and finally was told they had a Pacifica. Pulled in to change out the car and all of a sudden the Pacifica needed an oil change and was pulled around back but lucky me they had a 40k mile Dodge Journey. The car pulls to the right and the windshield wipers vibrate going down the highway. Absolute POS. They had a Tahoe on the lot and I said I would pay extra for it to get a reasonable car and supposedly it is reserved for someone the following day. Since when does a reservation for the current day get trumped by something the following day. I won't even get started on the disaster of customer service they have. They are the most unprofessional and dishonest people I have ever attempted to rent from. I reserved an economy car to pickup on Tuesday only to get a call on Monday informing me that they didn't have an economy car and they would raise the price on me to rent me a different car. After talking to management, they offered a better deal for a car on Tuesday but then requested I purchase more than $100 in insurance to cover the time I was renting the car. I wasn't expecting this extra expense so I needed more time to think about it. The lady at the counter started being rude to me as I was trying to get more information about the risks involving not getting insurance. I finally asked the lady if I could come back on Wednesday to get the same vehicle and make a final decision on whether to get the insurance. She said that was okay so I left for their location. I came back on Wednesday to discover that the vehicle was no longer available and they had nothing for me. They started being rude to me as I was explaining my situation and how they were suppose to hold onto the car for me. I left the location and promised to contact their regional manager. I have yet to hear back from management and believe they will never contact me. I had to end up buying airplane tickets to get to my friend's wedding in Texas because of this whole situation. read more

Enterprise has lost their way. Last week, Enterprise 800 reservations said I had a car reserved at Walton Way/ Augusta location. Booked this route, because local offices never pick up the phone and transfer calls. Local employee called me next day, 18 hours later saying that had no cars available. Trip delayed. Lesson learned, called Washington Road location directly. Booked a Corolla. Also advised, Enterprise no longer picked you up. Not cool. Their only selling point. Fast forward to pick up, Uber was surge, 20 minutes late pick up. Attempted to reach local office to advise I was on the way. Phones forwarded to 800, no prompt for local office. 800 rep was clueless, claimed Washington Rd office was busy and she would leave an email. Imagine my surprise when UBER delivers me and 4 employees are sitting there staring into space. Busy. I am also told I have a Mini Cooper. After requesting a larger car, any car other than a Coop, they claim there are none. Coop making strange noises once started and no spare tire. I bothered to leave this message to suggest folks do as I will in the future, UBER to airport and rent from Hertz and/or Avis. Save yourself some heartburn. After many years, my relationship with Enterprise is over. They have nothing to offer me anymore. read more

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This is my 2nd time dealing with enterprise. RESERVATIONS MEAN NOTHING, CONFIRMATION emails mean NOTHING, even giving them a phone number to reach you at, means NOTHING. My reservation was set about a week in advance for a truck, I was sent a reservation confirmation and an email. To my expectation (SMH), I get to the store and don't even see a truck in the parking lot. Anyway, the employee comes out and says "Oh we're out of trucks and we meant to call you"...then tried to put me in some regular car. WTF Why wasn't this expressed to me earlier than now? Why even send out confirmations if you didn't have the vehicle? Enterprise is known for the ole "Bait and Switch" trick. I rented a luxury vehicle (Cadillac) at this location back in September for the holiday week of Thanksgiving. I was called with a confirmation the vehicle would be available. Upon arriving, I was told that they do not typically have luxury vehicles at this location. Why in the world, would they have it listed on their site for rental and call to confirm the vehicle would be ready? This is unacceptable and they would not even work with me on a different larger vehicle. I was stranded and not able to see my family. Thanks for nothing! I DO NOT recommend this location. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT rent cars from Enterprise on 3025 Washington Road. I rented a van to get us here from the Atlanta airport (we JUST moved here, military family). We dropped off the van after-hours at this Augusta location the same day as per their instructions (key in drop box, van parked in their lot in front of the store). We get a call from the Atlanta Enterprise the next day saying that this branch says they never received the car OR the keys. Eventually we go into the store to see what's going on, they HAVE NO SECURITY CAMERAS or trackers on the van and they swear we did not return it! My husband asked them if it was possible that they rented out the car the following day and they said absolutely not, this van and those keys were never in their possession. So Enterprise in Atlanta says I have to call the police and file a stolen vehicle report and I will be charged for renting the van until the police report is made. If I don't make a police report, they would have to file a report against ME for stealing the van. (This is another headache since the police department only reported it as missing and not stolen and they said I need to take it to court for a pre-trial hearing to have it changed.) One week later, I get a call from the Atlanta Enterprise Risk Manager and THEY FOUND THE CAR! The Manager and Assistant Manager at this Augusta Enterprise RENTED OUT THE VAN THE NEXT DAY to another customer but mixed up the VIN number so it looked like I never returned the van! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS ENTERPRISE! EDIT: Since it appears someone from the store has commented asking me to email them for more info I would like to add: 1. Interesting how there is no apology in this commented response to my Yelp review... 2. It looks like Enterprise in Atlanta did not end up charging me any money for me renting the car for 12 hours (the least they could do). 3. I called the local area manager to make a complaint against the employees of this branch and she has offered me 4 days of a rental from any of her other local branches (not that I need it at this point, but MAYBE in the future IF I decide I ever want to risk it and rent from Enterprise again it could be useful). 4. I am done dealing with the incompetence at this Enterprise on 3025 Washington Road. Terrible car rental experience. Terrible customer service. I am now an any-company-except-enterprise rental customer. I reserved a car a week in advance, was called to confirm a few days prior to pickup, at which time I requested that my pickup time be changed to later in the day which they said was fine and would take care of for me. Fast forward to pickup day, where I arrived at exact time that I had changed my pickup to over the phone, and was told "oh bro you were supposed to be here at noon, let me see if I have anything left." Guess what? They didn't have anything left except for 1 car that they could rent me for an up charge. They couldn't even give me a break for their own mistake. I refused and asked if their was anything else they could do for me and she just stood there blankly. If management even cares: the employee who confirmed my reservation over the phone was a male and we spoke at 4:39pm on Tuesday 2/23. Enterprise Car Rental on Washington Rd, Yesterday 11/16/2020 I made a reservation for pick up at 5pm I called at 455pm to let the office know I was down the street and on my way and was told that if I don't make into their location by 5pm they cant help me. So number 1 why was I even allowed to book a reservation @ 5pm. Number 2. What kind of customer service is this I'm calling you from down the street I'm like 1 block away. Number 3. The lady straight up lies to me and tells me she is going to transfer my reservation to Airport so I can pick up a car there until 8pm. Number 4 When I got all the way to Bush Field they had no record of my reservation they don't share with that location at all and they had no cars left for me. Don't lie just to get someone off the phone!!! IF I could give this location a Zero I would they wasted my time and Money I could not go anywhere else after I got to airport and I ended up going to a different rental agency there and getting charged double the price since it was a counter call. If she had just told the truth I could have just got online and called a few other places that may have still been open. so my Reservation went from 157.00 to 388.00 THANKS ALOT LYING LADY!!! read more

Enterprise can teach you a lot. Lessons learned so far from them include: 1. Enterprise according to their websites does not drop a car off or pick it up from a location other than Enterprise. If you do this it is at your own risk and you are responsible for the car until it is signed in and inspected. Even if you turn in the keys hours days you return the car to the location you received it. 2. Never pick up or drop at a rental car in a hurry at the rental car location or at other location if you didn't learn rule 1. A through inspection look for dents, scratches, cookies, or vomit in the back floor board. 3. You are liable until inspection is complete and the vehicle is accepted back into inventory. 4. Photographs and video will suffice as evidence it was there prior to rental if you happen to over look a dent or to prove the condition at drop off, according to the damage claims department. 5. If you don't protect protect yourself when renting a car; the tuition for this course can be pricey. read more

This is seemingly a training center due to many changing faces, however, Kristen us always been there... Wish I could give them a MINUS STAR!! Selection was terrible. Service and friendliness of staff was even worse. Manager did not even speak to customers as he walked by. Also, it took over 40 minutes for the rental car. That's because they couldn't find the keys to vehicles on their lot!?!? Never EVER heard of that problem with ANY rental car store! I was supposed to receive a premium vehicle but instead received what amounts to a small class vehicle. Also, I noticed that several staff members were sitting in the back of the office, looking up at the crowd of customers in the lobby, then ducking their heads down in an attempt to avoid eye contact. The level of service at this location is DEPLORABLE compared to any other location where I have ever rented. Whoever owns or senior manages this location needs to fire just about every one that works there and start anew! read more

Enterprise is just going downhill. Charging for much more than they are actually worth. What I will say about the Washington road location is that they should focus on listening to the customer instead of upgrading vehicles, trying to get us to get insurance, etc. Here's the deal...if I tell you I'm traveling (across states) with a 2 or 3 y/o and you put me in a car that has no sirius radio (you now have to pay), no CD player (never seen a car like this since the 90's) and needed an oil change by the time I came back, I'm coming back a PISSED customer. My experience with this location started off wonderful. I was picked up from John Harris body shop where my vehicle as being repaired. The young lady that picked me up was very pleasant. We were in the vehicle that she told me I should be renting. When we arrived at the enterprise location there was only 1 customer in the building other than me. The minute we walked in the assistant manager told the young lady that was helping me he needed the keys to the vehicle that I was supposed to rent. The other customer even said that she'd rather have a challenger. The young lady that was assisting me told him that I was getting this vehicle. I sat down and over almost 2 hours later I was told that I was getting the challenger. I didn't want this vehicle because I wanted a gas saver but oh well!. I then asked where were my belongings that were in the other vehicle I was supposed to get. Noone knew and that vehicle was gone. 15mins later the store manager said oh they're in the back. My point is this. I didn't appreciate the lack of communication. I didn't appreciate the removal of my personal belongings without my consent, and I most definitely didn't appreciate the total disregard for my time! I'll say about 4 to 5 customers came in after me and they were in and out before me. The young lady that helped me I thank you. read more

This is the second time that I have rented a vehicle from this location, and it's the second time that I have been extremely disappointed. They rented out a GM vehicle that was part of the ignition switch recall, but, instead of fixing the problem, they simply stopped giving out keyless-entry remotes. The car's information center said that the vehicle had only 3% oil life left, so there was a warning that kept lighting up every time the car was started. The car smelled horrible, and it had a film on the windshield that made it unsafe to drive in the rain, since visibility was very minimal; the windshield washer fluid reservoir had been filled with water, so that wasn't an option for remedying the problem. When these issues were brought to the attention of the staff, they didn't even apologize. Additionally, it took over 30 minutes for the rental car return, a very simple process, to be completed; this could be due to the several staff members who always seem to be sitting in the back of the office, looking up at the crowd of customers in the lobby, then ducking their heads down in an attempt to avoid eye contact. The level of service at this Enterprise location is SIGNIFICANTLY less than any other location where I have ever rented.
