We happened to pick up our rental on a day where Sam, the Branch Manager, was working solo. There were seven or eight of us that rolled into town on the same train and had reservations. She did an outstanding job of keeping calm, communicating professionally, and moving folks through the process. At times, she would assist with quick vehicle returns. Then, she would step back to getting vehicles assigned. Her work was poetry in motion. What an asset she is to the organization. If there was a sixth star rating, she would have earned it. We reserved a standard SUV. We got to the location and they tried to tell us we were getting a Nissan Kicks, which is smaller than a mid size car. We explained we reserved a standard SUV and the manager, Alex (the branch manager) said, as he rolled his eyes, we reserved late last night, so that's what we're getting. No apologies. No offer to find us something else. Nothing. We have to be in Colorado tomorrow. To say this is an inconvenience is an understatement. Mistakes happen, but then you offer to make it right. We'll never be back to this location and don't recommend it, unless you don't care how you're treated, or paying for something you don't get. read more

I was in a car wreck on May 27, 2022. My insurance arranged everything through the Albany Enterprise while my car was in the shop for over a month. Everything was paid through insurance. I was able to come and go right away. No problems with the rental. Will use it again if necessary. read more

11/6/21 I am so disappointed in Albany Enterprise. I called on August 13, 2021 to reserve a vehicle for Sept 27,2021. I have rented cars from you in the past & have had really good service but this time, not so much. I called 6 weeks in advance to reserve a car. I asked, if possible, if I could get a sporty car, preferably a Challenger, like the last time we rented. What I got was a Nissan Kicks. I told the person I talked to that I understand that its not a guarantee to get a Challenger but if not that car then one similar to it. Well the Nissan Kicks is not even close. I called the Albany office & was told there wasn't any sporty cars available & the lot was not full. However, I went to town & drove by the lot & it was totally full AND there was a Challenger in the lot. Now, I know it could have been rented out by someone BUT I called 6 weeks in advance so I would have a better chance of getting the car I preferred. I mean, how much time do you need. When Alex brought me the Nissan he said they didn't have a Challenger, yet here it is sitting in the lot that very same day. I know COVID has something to do with a shortage of vehicles but 6 weeks should have been plenty of time. Alex basically told me that that's just the way it goes when renting a vehicle. I was really unhappy with the Nissan so I stopped at the Albany office to talk to the manager, Alex on Oct 1, 2021. First thing Alex did when I asked him about switching vehicles was look at his watch & kept looking at it while I was talking to him. Then I was told, by Alex, that they usually don't switch out vehicles unless there is something wrong with it. Then he told me that they will only switch out a vehicle up to 3 times. He told me they only had 2 vehicles available, an SUV or a Ford Fusion that someone had taken to the beach & just brought back but he said that vehicle smelled like fish. I didn't want an SUV & I definitely didn't want a car that smelled like fish. But then he said if I came in the next morning @ 8:00 am he would have 27 cars available. Then he said, no, wait, that won't work. I asked if he would hold one of the cars, a sporty one, for me & he proceeded to tell me that they don't hold cars for anyone. Wait, What? Isn't that what your company does?I asked him why he kept contradicting himself & he said, when did I do that? At which point I was pretty mad & swore I would never rent from enterprise again. I went home & got to thinking of the last time I rented a car. There was a woman, I think her name was Hanna, that used to work in Albany. She told me she was transferring to the Corvallis office. So, I called the Corvallis office & asked for her. Unfortunately, she doesn't work there anymore BUT, I did talk to Miranda & I told her of my situation. She listened & was very nice & understanding. She asked if I would give her the opportunity to correct it as she didn't want this one bad experience to have a negative impact for me or on Enterprise. I said ok. She said she would call me back. Within 5 minutes I got a call back from Ian, the Corvallis Manager. What a nice guy. He said he overheard Miranda talking to me & she explained what had happened. He said he just so happened to have a Challenger at the Corvallis office & he would hold it for me. I said, I am on my way. The car was perfect. Just what I wanted. Ian & Miranda were absolutely amazing. If it wasn't for the two of them I would never go back to Enterprise but they saved the day & my birthday which was that day. I am forever grateful to Ian & Miranda for taking care of this & from now on I will be going to the Corvallis Enterprise to rent a vehicle. Thank you. Lori T read more

Ridiculous! Enterprise is ridiculous! I drive a GMC Yukon and have 3 children in car seats so they finally got me a premium SUV rental have t at the auto shop waiting and I go to install my car seats to find that there's a broken Seat belt latch. I take the car by them and let them know and they tell me that it's only a one day rental, well they are not an auto body shop and obviously my car needs more work. So here I am going on day three of a rental with two car seats shoved in the middle seat because I can't put one in the backseat where the seatbelt is broken. I just got in a car accident and have injuries to my neck back and chest. I told them no SUVs and that if they didn't have any cars to just tell me so I could go somewhere else they told me it wouldn't be a problem. When I got there all they had were SUVs and the smallest one they gave me was an Armada. So for two days before I could get a new car from a different location I had to crawl up into this giant SUV with my fresh injuries. They are awful and I'm never going back. They don't care about their customers. read more

Albany Enterprise got everything right until the very end. After such a good experience with the Corvallis Enterprise I again needed a rental. I inadvertently called Albany instead. Ted answered the phone, I stated I meant to call the Corvallis office, Ted said the was the new manager and he knew that their reviews were bad, however he was going to do his best to change that. So I said I give them a shot to our preform Corvallis. While I was in possession of the rental unlike the Corvallis store they didn't check in to see if the vehicle was suitable or if I had any questions or concerns. They did collect the vehicle at the repair shop where I left it, which I discovered is not the usual policy. I am very grateful for that my experience with Caliper Auto Collision was a horror story. Albany's Enterprise epic fail is it's been 2 weeks and three phone calls and still my deposit has not been refunded. Corvallis Enterprise refunded my deposit next day after returning the vehicle. Based on the differences between the two stores sorry Ted Corvallis wins. And Ted where's my money. read more

Insanely expensive. They nickel-and-dime you every chance they get. Oh, and you know their slogan, "We'll pick you up"---turns out they won't even drive 15 minutes to the edge of Corvallis! I had to pay $30 to get a cab. After $250 for a 3 days, (and starting off with an empty tank from Enterprise) I ended up getting a rental from Ford in Corvallis, which was $150 for an entire week! I think this place is largely a scam, and I know it didn't help that my car broke down during Spring Break, when they double their prices. That in itself is is bad. I do think it's the company though, NOT the employees. The employees were pretty nice, and some were really nice and helpful. One was pushy, but overall I would say the people who run this office are not bad. read more

First off I want to thank all the wonderful people we dealt with at the 2 enterprise locations.. We usually always rent our cars from the albany, or location. We rented a compact car for our road trip and before we left town the car we had was acting weird so we call and they change the car for us without any questions. Then we were driving around and sightseeing at our destination 1100 miles away from home out in the middle of nowhere the check engine light comes on in the car.. So we call the local enterprise location which was Moab, UT and they tell us to go into there office and they will switch us.. We go in there and they switched us cars no questions again and no extra fees.. That is amazing customer service... I wish i remembered the names of the employees.. read more

We received professional, polite, and knowledgeable service from everyone at the Albany, Oregon, location. We were promptly picked up from the dealer where our truck was being prepared. The rental car was in perfect condition, clean, and the gas tank was full. The rental process was handled expertly and quickly. We were called the next day to make sure we were not having any issues. We will most definitely rent from Enterprise at this location again. read more
