That was not what I wanted but he did it anyway because of the neighboring resident I share a driveway with in an HOA. The curb is replaced by the HOA and now I have no curb. My property was left with a 3 inch wide trench alongside of the driveway with cement debris I had to clean out and refill with soil myself. He left sprinkler heads exposed to lawn maintenance and did not return to fill in. Then he turned his frustrations on me by stating I was his most difficult customer. I think he should consider his demeanor in dealing with the customer request and not do work that is not desired nor requested. We shall see if the blocks stand the test of time as I notice a missing block on an adjacent street. I only give him kudos for completing the job timely.

After seeing my friends/neighbors asphalt driveway done professionally by Gerry and his crew, I…read morecalled for an estimate.( I've spent years and countless hours diligently filling cracks and sealing the asphalt and it still kept cracking and generally looked awful). Gerry was prompt in coming over to give me a reasonable estimate which included resetting some Belgian blocks which were elevated due to a tree that had previously been bordering our driveway. I didn't even notice how bad they looked because of how bad the driveway looked! Gerry told me to expect the work to begin in about 10 days and he was true to his word. His crew ripped up the driveway and then came back a few days later to fix the Belgian blocks. A few days later, they were here with the asphalt and completed the project. It looks fantastic! This is the third time I've had the driveway done in the 36 years we've owned our home. The first two times we waited about a month between the time the driveway was demolished and the new asphalt was installed. ProMaster was so much quicker and I've never had a driveway look so good. The asphalt seems to be stronger, like a commercial grade that you'd see when a shopping center is repaired. Strongly recommend this company!

I hired GODOY Driveway Company to redo the driveway at my small East Hampton cottage. Their…read moreportfolio looked beautiful, and although their price was extremely high (around $30,000), I decided to move forward hoping for quality work that would last. While the steel edging for the gravel area was done nicely, I was surprised to be charged an extra $1,200 just to sink the existing Belgian block to match the new ones. That should have been included in the original price -- it made no sense to leave half the driveway uneven. Communication was also very difficult. None of the workers spoke English, so I couldn't communicate simple requests, like asking them not to urinate in my bushes. They cut stone directly in front of my new gate, coating everything in dust and never hosed it off. At the end of the job, I requested a few stepping stones to connect the front steps -- a small addition. They charged another $2,700 for just a handful of stones that were roughly placed directly into the soil. When I pointed out the scratches and poor workmanship, the owner refused to come see it and dismissed my concerns, saying "they are natural stones." When I asked again for him to come inspect the work, he became aggressive and threatened me -- saying that if I kept complaining, he would destroy my house and "rip up my front yard to make a mud pond for my kids." His tone was violent and unprofessional. I felt unsafe and contacted the police to make a report. This has been the most unprofessional and upsetting experience I've ever had with a contractor. The owner is largely absent, overcharges for basic work, and becomes hostile when questioned. I strongly caution anyone considering GODOY Driveway Company. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau to help protect other families from going through this.

Please do yourself a favor and google "Stewart Raccuglia Georgia" and you will find everything you need. Throughout our experience with him; he would disappear for several weeks, we caught him in several lies, he was verbally abusive, and did extremely poor quality work. We had to get the police involved twice; and eventually had to get lawyers involved and a trespass affidavit. We incurred well over $20k in unforeseen and undisclosed costs with never signing a work change order which is required by the contract. The project was supposed to take 5 weeks and it took 7 months. Stewart didn't follow through with necessary inspections and permits as he said he would (and we paid him $1500 to do). He called me a narcissistic deadbeat who can't pay my bills and he insulted my husband's appearance (my husband suffers from MS). He gave our security code to a stranger without our authority. He unplugged our security cameras several times and didn't plug them back in when we asked him to. And at the end of it all, we have a brand new pool with leaks, drains that were improperly installed, and a liner that needs to be replaced (for $13k at our cost). Please avoid Stewart and his companies Legacy Brick and Stone and Legacy Custom Pools. This experience has been so stressful, upsetting, traumatizing, and expensive. When he sees this; I'm sure he will call me a liar and say this is slander. I will include pictures of everything I have stated, they are facts not lies. His lawyer has threatened me asking that I take this down but I am reposting because I do not respond to threats or intimidation and I want to save others from this horrific experience.

After meeting with Carlos and his team, I felt like I found the right team for my project. The Bros team started off on the right foot, starting my job on time, and working continously until the job was complete. They were able to work through any challenges and improvise as needed to get to the finish line, without sacrificing workmanship in the process. Armando (their lead mason) was amazing. His team worked very well together. There isn't a single person that walks my backyard without complimenting the work. I am not one to write reviews for products or services, but this was one that I felt deserved the proper recognition. Over deliver, ahead of schedule, exceeding expectations, didn't have to become my own project…read moremanager, trust worthy crew,  over and beyond are some ways I have to describe John J Contracting and this blows my mind because every contractor who has done work to my house over the last 15 years in most cases not one of those descriptive words apply to any of them! To say that I'm blown away by John J contracting who checked off every one of those boxes is mind blowing to me Project was to convert my garage into a utilizable living space  I 1st met with Paul who listened to what I wanted done and put together a plan to help me convert my garage into a dance/music studio for my kids.   His ideas were better then the previous 3 contractors I met with, he took a day to create my estimate and from a price perspective he fell in between the high and the low bids I already had. Paul's professionalism kinda sold me, he was very focused and has a great personality. I wanted him to win the job and he fell in my budget so it made my decision very easy to choose them A day before the projects start date I met with John Joyce the owner who came to my house with Paul. We went over some last minute details and ideas and he had a lot of offer from a design and practicality perspective.   Day one of renovation went amazingly well, Joe was over seeing the demo, he was great and didn't cause any collateral damage to my house. Demo guys sometimes can. He didn't , Framing was overseen by another Joe. He was meticulous and had great foresight to the project. Engaged me with any concerns and we worked through all unforeseen obstacles my garage presented. The electrition and plumber were top notch. They were specialist to there perspective fields. My last contractor had one guy for everything but not certified in anything. Unlike any other contractor I ever had they showed up every day. Everyday there was progress being made to my renovation. Most importantly to me was that Paul and John both stopped by my job site every day and sometimes 3 times in a day. But on average probably twice a day to oversee the progress and make enhancements/adjustments as necessary as the project developed, at no extra charge in some cases, they definitely wanted to do what was best for me and not beat me over the head In the process with additional costs. The project called for 3 weeks from start to finish. They completed it ahead of schedule.  All the workers were trustworthy and personable I felt 100% comfortable to leave my young kids home alone for a short time while the guys were working.  At no point did I have have to act as my own project manager as I had to in the past with other contractors. At no point I had to chase them around just to get confirmations on simple things like "are you coming today? " like I had to in the past Paul picked up the phone I would have to say within three rings 99% of the time. Even on Sundays.  To give an idea of who I used in the past  Allure to do my upstairs in 2018.  They had missed a lot of days and a the PM Chris would never return my calls and once the job started he Just went MIA.  I give them 4 out of 10 stars and would never recommend them. Refused to use them again. I paid 30% more and for 50% less I'm my opinion  CCP contracting Who did a renovation downstairs in 2019.  Owner would not return unless I had sent a scathing text message begging for a call back, and when he called me back he made me feel like I was bothering him. Started my job in mid April needed it done by my birthday mid May and commited to that time frame, and did not end up not finishing till mid June. After the job was done things that needed to be touched up and they ghosted me pretty much.  ( John J actually fixed some of their issues for me) I can't say enough good about John J Contracting, I will only use them going forward, I recommend them to the highest degree.  Do not start a project without giving them consideration James
