This is a good spot to get omakase! The service is fast. You'll be out in about 45 minutes. I like that they offer lunch and not only a dinner block. I've yet to find an omakase spot that doesn't have me running down the street to get dumplings/tacos after, but this is still a nice spot to treat yourself for a fancy meal.

I went here with my friends. Super nice inferior. The moment we walked in it felt like a chic modern Japanese restaurant (in Japan). We got some pre-fix meals and a la carte. Keep in mind all the a la carte sushi come with TWO pieces!!! They were all very delicious. I'd say the highlight of the meal was all of the appetizers! The staffs were attentive and very nice. It seemed like a nice dinner spot/bar spot in a great location in Huntington.

Came in with high expectations and wasn't disappointed! Traveling to the city to enjoy omakase was a weekend plan in the past! Enso has bought that experience and may I add luxury experience to Huntington. For Resy fans please book online but there is a slight improvement needed. There are 3 options - 1. Table for ordering off menu 2. Omakase at table side 3. Omakase bar top ( best experience) The bar top has 3 seating times each night - that isn't specified so best to call up and book! So all that out of the way the food and experience- it's worth it if you are expecting high quality sushi, caviar caviar and more caviar ! What doesn't taste better with good caviar! Uni add caviar ! Eric Sensei the head master has a reputable history at a few Michelin restaurants in the city ! That comes with customers from local and afar flocking to the restaurant for a taste so it's busy but busy is good. We've meet strangers with the same passion for good food and shared sake and liquor with Eric! He was charismatic and thoughtful in engaging his patrons! Omakase 18 courses - it's a must try and enso gained a monthly customer !

Came here for brunch and got their SatoDon. It was 4 pieces each of king salmon, bluefin tuna, kanpachi. It was fresh and reminded me of my trips to Japan. Worth the trip if you can't go to Japan this year.

Nice addition to Huntington. Cucumber salad was refreshing and appetizing, with a slight kick. Sushi was fresh and flavorful. Quality ingredients. Service was attentive. Ambiance was upscale/nice finishes. This will be our new sushi spot.

Came here with my wife and had a really great omakase experience. The price is reasonable for the quality, and the atmosphere is clean, cozy, and perfect for a date night. Service was warm and attentive without being over the top. The fish was super fresh and every bite was delicious, TBH, everything was so flavorful and well prepared. We all love it, and had a great dinner

Great food. Wonderful staff. They just have to work through growing pains. Enjoyed the omakase but unfortunately my wife's specialty roll never came. Again growing pains. Will come back in the future.

Good food good service. A bit pricey but that's not unusual these days with inflation.

I heard such good things about this place so I figured why not give it a try. Boy do I regret it. I…read moregot the orange dragon and jazz roll. The orange dragon roll wasn't great but nothing to really complain about just subpar. the jazz roll on the other hand, was inedible. I had to spit it out. I could tell from first looks that something was off. the spicy tuna on top looked nothing like the photo, it was gray and brown in color. The roll that has shrimp tempura didn't have any ends/tails on it and tasted like it it could've been cooked days/weeks ago, tasted like the inside of a fridge. Everything was extremely fishy and old. I called up to let the Owner know, but he didn't seem to care or worry about the food safety. Do not recommend. Edit to respond to owner: I want to note that the tone of your response here is very different from how the conversation went on the phone. It feels like you're trying to present things more carefully now, which was not my experience during our call. After speaking with you on the phone, I did not feel that my concerns about the fish were taken seriously. I eat sushi 2-3 times a week, and I have never encountered fish with that kind of taste before. Additionally, the shrimp tempura did not seem fresh - it was soggy and had an off taste, almost like it had been sitting in a refrigerator. When food is bad enough that someone has to spit it out, that's a clear sign it isn't fresh.

The place has a chill yet unpretentious Japanese hip-hop vibe (which makes sense if you've been to any others, I recall Ramen-San in Chicago). Music isn't loud at all, so you'll be able to converse with others (or even yourself)! Had the pork belly bao buns, which were a worthy appetizer. Buns were nice and soft, pork full of flavor. I love how they loaded me up with green onions for a little bit of extra flavor and crunch. I quite enjoyed these. I had ordered the "Tokyo Style" ramen which I would identify closer to Tonkatsu, one of my favorites (feel free to correct me if I am wrong here). The broth is INCREDIBLE. I would equate it to almost a fois gras with the amount of roast pork flavor they've put, into the soup. How is there so much beautiful roast pork flavor?? It almost tastes double/triple porked. It is BEAUTIFUL. The pork belly, of course, being super tender and all of the ingredients were cooked to perfection. There was nothing left by the time I had finished. I'm not really a "dessert" guy but they do have a nice beer selection, including Left Hand's Milk Stout Nitro (one of my favorite desserts). They also have plenty of nice-looking tofu and veg options! Highly recommend if you love ramen, even if you aren't crazy about it yet willing to try!

Met up with a friend for a girls dinner out a few weeks ago, and had a wonderful time. It was a Friday night and the place was pretty quiet, so there were no concerns about social distancing. The bartender and waiters were all wearing masks and were super friendly as well. Onto the menu. Prepare yourself for a ton of dumpling options, like half the menu is devoted to the delicacy. And each dumpling is unusual and creative with the most delicious combinations. Being an Asian fusion place, the options run the gamut, from hot pots, to steamed buns and of course, back to dumplings. We tried the French Onion dumplings since they are the most talked about and they were delicious! Served on a plate that usually would hold escargot, I think. We also tried a few others, but the winning dumpling was filled with sweet potato, bacon, and cheese, as recommended by the waiter (I always ask what they like). I don't recall the name but it was one of the best and most interesting combinations in a dumpling that I've ever had. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary and a flavor explosion in your mouth, head to Ichiz. You may surprise yourself, like me!

Miso soup was pretty standard. The french onion soup dumplings were interesting but I would not have them again. I thought the tuna carpaccio was very good, fresh, and flavorful. The chicken jalapeño dumplings were alright. I would not go there expecting a filling meal. Service was friendly but slow and halted. We had a couple servers and they kind of were both taking orders and it got confusing. It was not a particularly busy day - we were one of three customers groups and the others were at the bar, and not ordering much from the kitchen.

I made a reservation and mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the evening special. The service was exceptional from the moment we walked in. They even gave us the option to choose where we wanted to sit from some of the best seating areas in the restaurant. The atmosphere was romantic, intimate, and enjoyable, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming, attentive, and wonderful. The food was amazing! We especially loved the oysters and calamari. To top off the evening, as we were getting ready to leave, the staff came over to sing Happy Birthday and surprised us with a beautiful candle and complimentary sherbet ice cream with four different flavors. It was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture that made the experience even more memorable. Overall, this restaurant exceeded our expectations. Between the outstanding service, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and thoughtful birthday surprise, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely recommend this place for a romantic date night or a special celebration. We will definitely be back!
