One of the Italian wines from the wine tasting
    Jessica B.

I've passed by Enoteca several times while on my lunch time walk but I decided to actually walk in on a rainy day. I was hoping they had Apothic Red but they don't carry it. The employee did make a suggestion--Lyeth vintage. I decided to give it a try--while she was ringing me up, she mentioned that I should come back tomorrow (Wednesday) for their wine tasting. They have wine tastings from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. I was free so I decided to attend a wine tasting--they were showcasing some of the Italian wines. They had a sommelier discussing one white and three reds. I really wish I took pictures but I was too busy sipping to remember. I did purchase the Marabino Rosso di Contrada--this was one of their featured wines from the tasting. The vineyards that make this wine and one of the others practice sustainable farming. Also, they give 10% off the bottles of wine in the tasting that are purchased that day. Definitely worth checking out if you happen to be in the area on a Wednesday evening. They have nice selection of various wines and I did notice some hard liquors behind the cashier. It's very clean and inviting inside. It's nice to go into a wine shop/liquor store and look at wine without bulletproof glass in the way. I recommend this wine shop.

Enoteca is a lovely little wines and spirits store. I've passed it several times on my way to work. Today I had time to stop in for a bit. There are so many wine types and countries to choose from that my head started to spin. Prices range from brown paper bag to Mikasa Crystal. I didn't make a purchase today. I'll come back when I have time to read the details on the bottles and ask questions. As fond as I am of the grape, I'm a total wine dunce. I need to be able to say something besides, "I like red" or "Anything with bubbles is good."

Great wine shop. A bit pricey for their whiskies, but fair wine pricing overall. Great selection of wine, a good mix of sake, and some of the top whiskies. Very clean and courteous staff.

New wine and liquor store in LIC! They definitely have an impressive array of wine to choose from and the staff is very friendly and open to giving you recommendations. They organize their wine by region rather than by type. It's definitely worth a visit since they have wine for all price points ($10-$225)! If you browse next to the register, they also sell sake, soju, etc. so they are a one stop shop. In the back, they have a refrigerator if you prefer to buy certain items chilled. I was told that they do wine tastings ever so often on Wednesday's so it could be a fun activity during the weekdays with a friend or significant other. Come to Enoteca and maybe you'll learn a new fact or two! Did you know Bollinger Champagne became famous from 007?

New wine shop at Court Square! Organized by country for reds, with additional sections for whites, roses, and sparkling wines. There's a good range of wines, from $9 table wine to $90 wine snob/collector wines. Staff when I went seemed to speak Italian and French, which was cool.

My favorite wine store in all NYC. Friendly and very helpful staff. They are very knowledgeable about all wines but have a specialty in Italian wines. Check them out!!!!

a very good liquor store in astoria near the family friendly park , spacious ,plenty of room to…read moreroam and grab a bottle here and a bottle there. nicely organized bottles on shelves and stands front to back and all around which made my visit a quick and simple one .they got plenty of assorted booze with wines being the main event .i had a list and so glad they have the 4 bottles i needed and prices are reasonable compared to manhattan. they have occasional wine tasting and social events but i dont drink so i think i will skip that part. overall a nice neighborhood booze shop in astoria that has mucho variety of liquor at prices that wont make you tipsy.

I picked this place because I needed to send a birthday gift to a friend that lived nearby. The website to order from is super user friendly. I was very pleased with their selection and am completely understanding that not everything will be in stock due to the situation. They even had time slots for deliveries which was a huge plus. Once you complete your order you get text alerts which is super helpful. Support Local and give this place a shot for any of your alcohol needs if you live in the area or want to send a gift to somebody that lives close by.
