Save yourself time and money. From day one these guys have been unreliable, unprofessional and down…read moreright rude. I was told 3 days to deliver, 3.5 weeks later my stuff arrived and they wanted to deliver it at 9pm on a sunday NIGHT!. I had to call them several times and no one could give me a straight answer. I was met with rude receptionists and even ruder management staff. When my belongings did arrive, boxes were wet and damaged, furniture had bird poo all over it and items were damaged or dented.

We used Grace removals for our move from the Gold Coast Australia to Houston Texas in November…read more2014. The manager, Matthew Ferrari came to our house to give a quote. He assured us that our own container would be placed outside our house and our furniture would be packed straight into it and not moved again till it was unpacked in Houston. On the day of the move a truck arrived with 2 guys. I asked where the container was and was told it wasn't coming because it was broken and they were waiting for a part. I phoned Matthew Ferrari who stated that he "meant" to call me. I told him that the reason we went with them was so there would be no "double"moving of the furniture as there is more chance of damage. He told me that when it was packed into our own container at his facility he would email a photograph of our stuff in the container. That never happened. On arrival in Houston numerous items were broken due to the way they were packed. I expect some breakages, but when sentimental items are broken due to negligence, IE antique marble chess pieces all wrapped together in paper causing 6 pieces to break, it's upsetting. Packing tape was placed straight on to furniture so when unwrapped it peeled the paint and laminate from some pieces. We were insured but didn't get the full value of the broken items. It's funny when you point out expensive items to the removalists and then find at the other end that they are not packed properly, and your cheap items are wrapped like the crown jewels. We are now all unpacked and in our house in Houston. As the weeks go by we are discovering things missing. I find it odd that all the boxes on the invoice list were accounted for on arrival but things were missing from the boxes. After the above we would not use them again.

A friend had their tv damaged pre packiage and they were charge for damaged goods.They sent their…read more TV from Brisbane to Melbourne using Pack and Send South Brisbane. The owner seemed quite genuine. When he arrived , to receive the TV we offered help but he refused saying he knew what he was doing. The TV arrived...destroyed. A big chunk was missing. The chunk wasn't in the box. Why? Because the he TV was dropped before packing it! This morally corrupt business, cowardly decided rather to phone us to tell us they dropped the TV to pack it and charge us $300 for the privilege. I visited them yesterday and they played dumb. What human coward piece of rubbish would break a TV and then charge to transport. And then make out to be our fault. I really don't care about the money. Which brings me to this review of Kennards Self Storage. It's not sexy. It's not exciting and as I was shown the various size sheds in the Milton complex I did start wondering if people rented these out and lived in them, or if there'd be some kind of Block or Renovation Rescue challenge where contestants have to turn them into well designed abodes. I also thought to myself should the zombie apocalypse indeed happen, I'd probably shack up here. Alas, I just wanted a safe, reliable and ample sized storage solution for a bunch of merch and paraphernalia. Kennards Storage in Milton was not only easily accessible and local to me, but the staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and made the decision all too easy. With 24/7 access I'm not limited to any time schedule for when I need to pick up or drop off goods and I'm impressed that I can have parcels delivered directly to them.
