Waited in a livestock holding pen for almost an hour. Then taken to another holding pen to wait another half an hour. then Dr. Schluterman spent under five minutes, prescribed an ointment that gave me a terrible rash. When I reported the problem and requested the doctor maybe suggest a different medication - DEAD END. NO CALL BACK. No follow up. just treated horribly and then ignored. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MECHANISTIC INHUMAN place. read more

Have not had they their services. Went to preliminary assessment. Staff was friendly and nice. Eye doctor was very short and then in a hurry. Made comments about 20 minutes in, "it was taking longer than most" appointments. Also mentioned i was free to get a second opinion and he didn't need my business. Needless to say, I am trying to find another place to go. I will pay the hundred dollar deductible. They wanted me to make a decision which level of cataract surgery I wanted with no information or suggestion about what I needed. He said to come back in 3 weeks for a reevaluation if I chose one of the premium lenses. Then i was sent directly to the girl who schedules surgery. When I explained to the girl at the front desk , I was not ready to schedule a surgery. Then I was sent to the financier. This obviously did not clear up any of my questions. Then I was sent to the counselor. After going through all this, I felt like it was the first time they were explaining things about procedures and options they we're not able to satisfy, My questioning about levels of lenses or what would be best for me. But they were ready to have me pick one? Yes, I did.Watch the six mini videos they sent on my phone that were two minutes apiece. I could not pick a star rating because it's two separate issues. I believe they are capable of doing the job.Excellently. The staff and the building are very professional. Clean and capable looking. The staff was excellent. I would give them a four star. Now the doctor on the other hand may have had a bad day or something. But he is the reason i would give a one star based on he could not satisfy the questions, and I feel that it was his job, and also was about as close as you could get to the word rude. Whoever tells a client/patient , they don't need their business? For that visit on that day the doctor definitely a one star. read more

I hate to say it, as I've used this clinic a few times over the years with no problems, but Ennen Eye Clinic has terrible customer service these days. I need an eye procedure and contacted the clinic TWICE to make an appointment to speak with the billing office to assure that I had enough money saved to cover the out-of-pocket expenses. No response from the email inquiry, and no one ever called me back after a phone call. Honestly, if there were another option in our area, I wouldn't use Ennen Eye Clinic again. It took a phone call from my eyecare practitioner to get Ennen's office to talk to me. I loathe that I have to give Ennen Eye Center my business and hard-earned money with this kind of customer service. I guess they feel they can give subpar customer service when they're the only eye surgery practitioner in the area. I have no complaints about the surgical aspect of the facility, although the last time I visited was when Dr. Ennen was the doctor there. Too bad the new owners allow bad customer service to smear Ennen's name. read more

The office there has a relaxed feeling, it's clean and the staff members are really nice and professional. The Doctor was as friendly and seemed to be smart. I would and will recommend this place to everyone who needs dental or not. read more

Waited almost an hour before being called to the back. Girls up front talking and looking out at me knowing I had been waiting. 3 people came in after me and was called before me. I will be going back to Eye group. I was never treated this baldly at eye group. They always got me in within 15 minutes... And also lobby waiting area needs more ventilation. Very hot and always too many people in waiting area...Eye group I will be back next year!!! Will not return to Ennen.!!! Ever read more

Arrived on time, still had to wait nearly 2 hours due to obvious overbooking. In fact, it was so overbooked that there wasn't even enough seating and we were forced to stand. Get ready if you are trying to get glasses with insurance here, they bring out what looks like a black junk box with an extremely limited selection to choose from. 1 star, slightly better than nothing. read more

Terrible customer service from the front desk. I was spoken to disrespectfully and place on hold twice. No one ever returned to the phone which was answered placed on hold again and then sent to a voice mail. Mind you I had someone else to call who was immediately answered all while I was still on hold. You will continue to loose faithful customers if this does not improve. You can improve by offering those individuals additional training on how to speak with customers. read more

My 92 year old sister drove 60 miles through a thunderstorm and was held up by traffic that caused her to be ten minutes late. The receptionist refused to allow her to keep her appointment and was unprofessional and extremely rude. My sister offered to stay all day if need be in case of a cancellation as she was interrupted and told absolutely not. Was told next appointment was six weeks out take it or leave it. She told them to give to someone else as she Would never return to be treated like dirt. On top of that she is still working from home at 92 and canceled HER work in order to make the trip. And she already paid her deductible which is non refundable. This is on the staff not the doctors. They act like their patients are their employees and forget who is paying who. read more

Excellent treatment. Only complaint was 45 min past appointment time before being called in. Wish Dr Ennen still worked there. Talked to four different patients who all had same complaint. Just saying, I fixed this problem in my department. Don't blame the doctors, this is the office directors fault. By the way I had fortyone years experience in medical field. read more

My family has been going to Ennen Eye Center for over 20 years. I went in for a screening eye exam that was covered 100% by insurance and was told I had 20/20 vision. They filed my insurance as a diagnostic exam causing me to have a co-pay and 20% fee. They originally refused to fix it, until I told them I would file an insurance fraud claim with my insurance company. Then they continued to send me a bill for the next three months. Today my daughter's $350 Ray-Ban frames were broken by them, while they were replacing the lens. I was told we had to cover half the cost of new frames; since they were not bought at Ennen and not under warranty. This is the second pair of frames they have broke. They also broke a pair of my husband's frames in the past. They will require patients to sign a waiver stating they are not liable for frames they break. They justify it as wear and tear, even though I have yet to find one person who has experienced their eye doctor breaking their frames. It's a win win for them, they break your frames and then sell you more of their over priced frames they mark up way beyond market value. Honesty is not a high priority at this office. And when you tell them you are going else where after 20 plus years, they will tell you in a round about way they couldn't care less. Should have left long ago; but it's such a hassle to switch, my stupidity for going back after numerous problems read more

Front desk woman is rude. If we had met the front desk person prior to making the appointments we would never have come back. This seems as if once you are committed they really don't care about you. You are just a number and just $3000 depending on the service that you decide to get the front desk person is just rude. She is awful. Not friendly at all. I was disappointed in how we were treated. read more

Can't get anyone to answer the phone and they are rude when you can. Sat on hold for 30 minutes just to get transferred to a different person and immediately hung up on. When I went in for my appointment waited over an hour and a half past my appointment before I was ever brought back to a room. Would not recommend this place. read more

Would not recommend. Had laser eye surgery in March 2019. Went completely blind after surgery because it destroyed my corneas. Ennen would not send me to another specialist. Finally, after about 6 weeks he reluctantly referred me to another specialist. I needed two cornea transplants because they were none functional. When I asked Ennen what the "worst case scenario" was for me and if I needed more surgeries he stated: "Well you could go jump off a building." read more

Had to cancel appointment with Dr Ennen and reschedule. Was told I could not get an appointment with him as he was no longer working. I asked so was he going to be working on the appointment I just canceled. The girl said no I would have to see someone else. I asked so was I going to be informed of this and she said they were going through the list. I was not happy about this as I have seen Dr Ennen for probably over 30 years. I wanted an ophthalmologist but not one available at the clinic. I called another clinic and was told the doctor there would not see any of Dr Ennens patients who have had surgery by him. Wow! Now I am concerned about that statement. Did Dr Ennen not do my surgery correct? Am I in danger of future complications? Not sure where to go. Made an appointment with an optometrist at Ennen Clinic and was told by that doctor that Dr Ennen is still working just not every day. So what is the real truth here and why am I blackballed from seeing him? Do not recommend this clinic at all. Now to find an ophthalmologist that will see me. read more

Went for exam and just wanted my eyeglass prescription, they would not give it to me unless I came back in a month as my prescription could change. Really, it could change in a month??? I would not recommend as they seem to want to see patients frequently to get more money, from you or the insurance. read more

The staff was professional and Dr. Pratt is great. But I really wish I had not bought my glasses in their optical shop. I haven't been to an eye doctor in years and I really didn't know how much glasses should cost. That's my fault; I should have researched it. After I bought my glasses I looked online and found the EXACT brand and style of frames for much, much less. Ennen Optical charged more than DOUBLE the prices I found. I won't buy glasses there again. read more

Dr. Ennen is very arrogant. He talks down to his patients. He doesn't listen to what they have to say just makes up his mind without your input. If he doesn't want to mess with you he refers you to a specialist that you don't need. Waste of money and time. Over the years I have been to Dr. Ennen twice and both times He treatment of me was inferior. Will never, never go back again. read more

They messed up my eye prescription glasses and the lady in the shop would not listen to me! She was argumentative and talk to me like I'm an idiot. I've been wearing glasses for 30 years and she insists that they can't possibly make mistakes. However they did make a mistake with these glasses. I don't know if it was the person doing the exam or someone entering the data into their laptops. I don't know, but this prescription is wrong and I can't see anything. I can't read up close, I've got double vision, and I'm just really annoyed! Not to mention I have to pay to go back and have them re do my exam. I guess they are just too perfect. How can we they possibly make a mistake. This is actually the third time I've gone to them and each time , I always have to go back for some problems. This is definitely the last year I'm going to Ennen. Each time my insurance got charged and each time its their mistake. read more

Do not have lasik or any corrective surgery here. After surgery, 3 months of blindness and pain, asked Dr Ennen what worst case scenario would be, he laughed and said " Well, I guess you could jump off a tall building." 5 months after procedure had bilateral corneal transplants. Eyes butchered. Never the same. read more

Amazing staff! Great doctors! ! Highly recommend! ! Confident in their work too. Glad the surgery center is on same property.

The doctor that we have used for years changed to this office. So we moved with him. This day we were unable to see our regular physician so we said ok to a different doctor for this one time. The front staff was very nice and professional. The doctor and other staff not so much. For the first time ever, I let my 17 yr old and 13 yr old go to the back without me. The back staff dilated both the girls eyes without asking if they any health issues both are perfectly healthily and do not wear glasses, therefore should have not been dilated. When I ask to speak with the doctor he rudely ask me to step in a room. He told me that it is their protocol to dilate everyone's eyes. This office is all about making money not patient care. I do not recommend this office at all. read more

My family has used Ennen's Eye Center for about 14 years. We've had a good experience for the most part. I do have an issue with Dr. Ennen since he told my mother in law that she HAD to get her cataracts taken care of NOW, and when she switched to Dr. Lassiter (same office), Dr. Lassiter told her, "yes, you do have small cataracts, but it's whenever you are ready". We've gone to Lassiter since. She did have the surgery (a couple of years later) done by Ennen and he did a great job. My big issue is with the Eyeglass Dept. I brought in a pair of glasses that I just needed lenses for and they said they could do that. No problem. So I get a call from the eyeglass dept. that the company putting the lenses in broke them. Instead of the company that broke them replacing the frames, my insurance got charged for the replacement. So then, when I finally got them, one of the lenses hadn't even had the edges ground off and they had to send them back. When I FINALLY got the call that they were in, I went to get them THAT SAME DAY! I should have, but didn't, had them checked right then and there, but I figured I would just bring them back in if they weren't right. They weren't even close to being right. I procrastinated and brought them back in about 20 days later. Now, mind you, you have 30 days to get them back if there is a problem. They wouldn't replace the lenses because it had been longer than 30 days. So apparently my glasses had sat "in house" for more than 10 days before they called me? Not only that, but since it had been longer than 30 days, they were going to charge me $289.00 for replacement lenses. AND I was going to have to have another eye check done since the prescription I had was for contacts, not glasses. So instead of them getting the correct prescription in the first place, I was going to have to do it again... and get charged again. All in all, I was getting charged frames that they broke, lenses twice, and eyecheck twice. That is horrible customer service! The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because, for the most part, we've had a good experience with them. We LOVE Dr. Lassiter. But we can't keep going there. read more
