I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've been practicing yoga for about 14 yrs, and was turned onto hot yoga 2 yrs ago by the awesome and beautiful Sarah (one of the owners). I found this place back in Nov 2012 because I was interested in floating (highly recommend that...read my other review!), and decided to try out their hot yoga class since the first one was donation-based anyways. This place is amazing! The studio is clean, beautiful, and intimate. It's not like some of the other studios that are huge and allow for too many people so there's hardly ever 1-on-1 instruction or adjustments...I always feel welcomed and wanted there. I'm a little biased because Sarah introduced me to hot yoga a while ago, so i'll always love her and be forever grateful, but the rest of the instructors are also really intuitive and loving. Warm & Gentle Yoga is an awesome class for those new to yoga or hot yoga, and even I still attend those classes if I've gotten off track for a week or 2 and want to ease back into it. They have many different class times throughout the week, so that really helps me out since I'm stuck in a building from 8-5pm Monday-Friday...so knowing that I have the opportunity to see all these great people at Enlighten Others AND get a great workout for a great price, really keeps me motivated to get my butt over there after work! LOL! OH! I can't leave without mentioning their new Battle-Rope classes! Such an intense and FUN workout!!! I'm ex-military, so I crave that tough workout that I haven't been able to find since bootcamp, and this class definitely satisfies that craving! One of the hardest workouts I've ever done, and soooo worth the initial pain. I started not even 2 months ago and have toned up a lot, gained muscle where I needed it, and can do my chaturanga's in yoga much more easily now! Haha! Soooo happy I found this place. I really have enjoyed the classes at this studio. I like the fact that they not only offer hot yoga but also warm and gentle classes. My favorite part of these hot yoga classes are the positive affirmations the instructors use during class. The classes are amazing! All of the instructors have been great and are so friendly! Make sure to drink plenty of water before you take a class since you definitely will sweat a lot of the toxins out of your body. (Coconut water is best!) I not only receive a great workout but also feel like my mind and spirit are benefiting from this style of yoga! I enjoy that the studio is smaller than most in town and feel more connected with the instructor and more able to go within without distractions. The cork flooring has also been very nice on my joints compared to practicing yoga on other types of floors. I love that they have many other wellness services like their sensory deprivation tank and massage therapy. I took my kiddos to the kids yoga class and they really enjoyed it and even came home singing a namaste song! (Very cute!) They also offer nutrition guidance and have a personal trainer on their staff that offers personalized meal plans. I am planning on trying their meditation class soon and the inversion and foam roller therapy. I highly recommend this studio if you are wanting to do something good for your mind, body, & spirit! read more

Well at least my friends over at Enlighten Others can always count on awesome feedback from the yoga classes there lol. I feel that most people are not going to get something out of the tank from their first experience when they expect to get something out of it. It's not going to change your life, only you can do that. As a returning customer I continue to receive awesome benefits from this place. I've attend yoga classes regularly and float at least once a week. I don't know what I would do without it. 2 years ago I felt that this place was one of the best tools that fell into my life. I am also pretty aware, besides the sterilization machine) with 1000 pounds of epsom salt (or how ever much they put in there) the salt will kill any unwanted bacteria (Do the research). For as long as I floated I feel that besides cleaning my mind, my body seems to have kept pretty clean itself. I also feel that after floating, at least for the next week or so, any situations that may cause anxiety completely stays away compared to my weeks when I skip out on floating. Besides myself, I continue to witness other friends receiving the same benefits. As far as cleanliness, I guess you would have to find out for yourself besides taking a review's word for it. The only suggestion I would recommend for this place is opening another location on the west side of town lol Much love! read more

The previous review is extremely surprising. I think if you go in to anything new with a negative attitude you're going to have a bad experience and it sounds like that was the case for her and her husband. As a biologist I can assure you that you're not going to get sick by going in the floatation tank. I actually laughed out loud when I read that part of the review. Filtration and UV sterilization are more than adequate to sterilize the water in the tank. My boyfriend and I went last week for a massage and float using a Groupon. Scheduling was very easy (week got in on the date and time requested). I was curious more than anything about the tank. The water temperature was perfect. At the beginning of the float I was actually hot because the humidity was so high. It was the exact temperature of my skin and I couldn't even tell I was in water. The massage was AMAZING and the float was interesting. My boyfriend and I both agree that floatation may take some getting used to. It feels like you're floating aimlessly in space. Kenneth was at the front desk and he is so incredibly welcoming and nice. You really can't beat the price of any of their services. I plan to go back for another float, massage, and even try out their hot yoga. The whole experience was great and I've never felt so relaxed. read more

Don't be put off by one review. It seems unfair for someone to harm a business' cred with one unpleasant experience when either they (most likely) or the place had a bad day. Lighten up! If others felt like this, floating would not have become so popular. Floating can change your life if you let it. What happens in the silence and tranquility of the tank has nothing to do with the poshness of the facility. I have floated here around 20 times and have never had a bad experience nor have I gotten sick. If you want to let go of your world for an hour or two, floating can help in a big way. I'm here visiting family from San Diego, the Mecca for "fitness" and "spirituality" I am incredibly impressed with this studio, I wish we had something like this in SD, the staff is very professional and knowledgeable, yet there is a family atmosphere I have not experienced anywhere else, much better than any of the franchised Hot Yoga places I've visited. It doesn't stop at yoga, their flotation tank operation is the best I have used, they actually guide you before you go in to the tank, not just throw you in and let you figure it out on your own like all the other places, the tanks are very clean and well maintained. They actually do what they affirm and are very giving of themselves, I'm very pleased with this studio and will visit every chance I get when I'm in town :) read more

ENLIGHTEN OTHERS is an incredible yoga studio. The owner is named Sarah. She is also a yoga instructor. She clearly loves what she does and her classes are ALWAYS a good workout, relaxing and rejuvenating. All of the instructors here are Knowledgeable and supportive. Absolutely amazing prices on monthly passes and punch cards. I recently purchased a Groupon for my wife to try the Floatation Tank, another cool and unique experience offered here. I have tried many yoga studios in Albuquerque, Denver and New Jersey (where my parents live). The owner here, Sarah, is the best yoga instructor I've ever had. My wife and I are not expert yogis, but we LOVE this place. We've been going for over a year and we will continue to attend classes at ENLIGHTEN OTHERS! read more

This was one of the most amazing experiences ever. So transcending.. The staff is awesome and super friendly. Since floating in many facilities this was the cleanest and best maintained I've seen so far. Water in the shower was cold at first but heated right up after a minute. The tank was so enjoyable. Water and air temp in the tank was perfect. Feels like your floating in space! Something for the bucket list that everyone should try. Ken was very flexible with the payment since I scheduled multiple visits he gave me an amazing deal. The tank fixed all my stiff muscles and my back ache in 3 floats. Not for those that are afraid of the dark or claustrophobic. Overall a great visit at the cheapest prices in ABQ. read more

I started going to Enlighten Others almost a year ago, and will never look back. This establishment is an incredible studio with teachers dedicated to leading you in an uplifting, healing, wholesome practice. The classes are structured to make you feel comfortable, while still pushing you to limits you never knew were there. This Wellness Center is inviting, warm and absolutely beautiful. The decor is exquisite and the staff is extremely knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. I had the privilege of floating in their new ISOPOD Flotation tank. It was BIG and roomy and I floated away into a blissful abyss. My body was so relaxed and my mind and spirit are now at ease. I released an enormous amount of tension and now feel alive and renewed after my session today. I will definitely be back. Great job on the new renovation Enlighten Wellness. The flotation experience was one of the best tools I've encountered in the reach for a still, relaxed mind. Everything from entering the door to Enlighten Others to the drive home with an increased sense of awareness, perception and relaxation made it well worth it. The new center is great! The first time I went the staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all the services they offer. I tried the sensory depravation tank and the Tesla Energy Lights the first couple times I've been there. The Tesla Energy Lights were great! Afterward I felt energized. It was like taking a power nap and waking up feeling refreshed after. The float tank was also an amazing experience. It resets your mind and helps you totally relax your whole body. I am new to yoga and was nervous about going to a class. I originally went to Enlighten Others because of a deal posted on living social. The studio is very close to my house which makes in convenient, but it's a wonderful place. I have only gone to warm and gentle classes, but I like the slow, meditative atmosphere. It helps me relax and completely clear my mind. The heat and humidity do make you sweat profusely, but you feel so great afterwards! The hotter the better! Sometimes the classes do get a little crowded, so go early, and don't forget water! read more

Such an amazing experience! The sensory deprivation tank is a MUST! I have claustrophobia and it was still amazing. GREG GAVE THE BEST THERAPY EVER! I had only scheduled an hour (because $$) and I extended it to 2. He is trained in medical massage which allowed him to find various, deep-rooted issues alll over my body that have been effecting and bothering my neck for YEARS. The Warm and Gentle class I attended was outstanding! Awesome vibe there. I loved the affirmations delivered and the sacred music that was played.
