They gently pushed me to a bit more each time, while keeping an eye on my comfort and pain level. Within a few sessions, I was able to move my shoulder around better and wasn't waking up in pain anymore. By the time I "graduated" I was pain free and had a list of exercises to help maintain good health. Now almost a year later, I still have no pain in my shoulder. I credit the Choice therapists with that! I have to say that their Receptionist is also very sweet and was very accommodating to my timing for appointments. We first only started with speech but after I voiced some other concerns they were quick to do an OT evaluation and get us on the books. They even made it easier to combine the two and work together for the concerns we were having. When my son first started at TPTC he did not have very many sounds or words. We used an AAC device, sign language, and pointing to communicate. He is now 5 and thriving and has recently graduated from speech! They were able to work a plan for him that no other therapist before TPTC could do to help him make great progress in speech. OT came in to work on fine motor skills, collaborate with his SLP with feeding, and works on behavioral things. The progress he has made has been incredible especially in times where we as parents felt hopeless. We are sad but hopefully he will graduate OT soon too. TPTC makes therapy FUN for these kids. They have dress up days, trick or treat for Halloween, and even did a sensory friendly safety day and community day! Everyone who works here works FOR the kids. They want to see these kids thrive in life. This isn't just the therapists either. The entire staff knows your kid and their interests. I've never walked into an office and had my entire family greeted by everyone who works there like they do at TPTC. Liz is an incredible owner and OT who has done so much not just for my family but our entire community. She wants community involvement so these kids feel safe and seen outside of the office. In my opinion you are not going to find another therapy center in our area (and we've been to many) to give the care, knowledge, and love that TPTC has to offer.

I chose Encore Rehab in Priceville, Al for my physical therapy after shoulder surgery to repair a…read moretorn rotor cuff and bicep tear. I have nothing but praise for the Priceville, AL staff. Hannah was my personal therapist and it became apparent early on that she knew her stuff. My therapy was 12 weeks in duration and Hannah was careful to move me along slowly being a 70 year old male in relatively good shape. At the end of twelve weeks I had complete motion in my shoulder and she provided home exercises during and post therapy. My shoulder Doc was very impressed with my progress and after my second post op visit said he did not need to see me anymore. You could not ask for a friendlier staff. I had over thirty therapy appointments and was notified the day before each one and rarely had to wait to get started. For the charges presented I got very little benefit. I also found the admin help a bit dismissive. I asked for management when I received a half hour session when I was scheduled for an hour, they just chuckled and looked at me as if to say they could care less what I wanted. I would not recommend this group to anyone needing extensive therapy.
