The oral hygienists are super friendly, conscious, dextrous and caring. He was very gentle at pulling out a healthy tooth I didn't want anymore. He didn't recommend it but I hated the food getting stuck in there. He pulled it out with literally no pain or anything. Sometimes they clean your teeth with the water jet which signals every nerve in your body to sense pain but afterwards, it is worth it. I recommend this place 100% and I hate the orthodontist. I really like him because he's always straight to the point, very knowledgeable, and cool.

I loved my dentist in California and so I took my time finding a dentist in Bloomington. (plus I just didn't want to go) Dr Arnold's reviews were glowing, and even though my partner has a different dentist here in B-town, I decided to try Dr Arnold based on Yelp reviews. The office is a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with the Eastside of town. It is sort of behind the now-closed Marsh store, in a mini mall next to a dance studio and a waxing salon. Plenty of parking in the lot. Courtney was my hygienist today and she was wonderful. She listened to my ramblings about how much I hate the dentist. She was mellow and I felt like she gave my teeth a very thorough cleaning. She was just the right combination of quiet and talkative during the cleaning. (my hygienist in California was very chatty and it's hard to answer questions with sharp instruments in your mouth). There is a tv on the ceiling so you can watch while you have your cleaning. Courtney caught on fast that the show on the History channel was about mass murderers (not a very calming show) and she switched the channel to ESPN for me. Next Dr Arnold (Bill) came in and introduced himself. He was great. Very down to earth and approachable. We chatted a bit about California and then he began his exam. Again, great exam and he gave me advice about some tooth sensitivity I have been experiencing. Next appointment is six months from now and even though I will still be freaked out, I won't be AS freaked out. Definitely recommend. If you have been putting off a dental exam, go see Dr Arnold.

I usually get a notification every six months when it's time for our cleaning, so when I realized it had been much longer I called to see why we hadn't gotten a notification I was told their system was down due to a lightning strike and they would have to call me back. I never received a call back so I called again a week later and was told my record read "Do not see." Again I was told they would have to investigate and call back. When they did call back I was told that our insurance had billed them back for something (which I was never notified of this) and they mentioned a root canal (which neither me nor my daughter has ever had). I told them I believe there is some sort of mistake as we have never had any procedures other than cleanings and even if there was some charge I would have paid it. I was told in so many words they don't want us back and to find someone else. I am shocked, hurt, and disappointed beyond words as I have spoken so highly of them for years and considered us ideal patients. I really thought they were a small town business that cared about their patients and customers, but apparently those are becoming harder and harder to find.

Lo and behold, I got a call one morning last week that they had an opening that day and I jumped at the chance. I got my teeth cleaned and fluoride applied. Dr. Marty took a look at the implant that they had placed. I was a patient of Dr. Wall's back in the 1970s and am glad to have the opportunity to have these great folks help me with my dental care.

I loved my dental hygienist, Debbie, because she explained everything to me that she was doing. I am currently pregnant & she was so patient with me when I needed water & did not push X-rays on me. She even told me to check with my baby doctor to ensure it was okay for me to get a new filling before scheduling the next appointment. I've been to so many medical places that don't give you those options or encourage you to talk to your other providers first. I also had Dr. Drake as my dentist and he was very thorough and kind. I also loved how they go over finances with you before you leave instead of sending a bill in the mail. Bonus: first time patients receive a free tshirt!
