I explained to him I just don't like my mouth touched that it was nothing against him. He proceeded to ask me if I just want to reschedule. I told him no, that I was already here that I just wanted to get it over with. As he put the shots in my mouth I barely whinced, he proceeded to tell me that if I was going to do that I could leave that he has other patients in there and they need to be taken care of. I was flabbergasted, how rude and what poor bedside manners. This isn't how you treat a new patient or anyone. When he got done with the second set of shots I could not open my jaw, I told his assistant that my jaw was locked and I was having a hard time opening my mouth, she went and told the Dr. He said that was normal and he wasn't going to proceeded to work on my teeth since I was having a hard time. Or I should say he had his assistant tell me. He didn't even come up to me and talk with me. Wow, who seriously does that. I left and will never be back and I suggest not to go there.

Mom waited in town for 6 hours waiting for it and it never was sent to the pharmacy. She did call them at least 2 times to ask if they had sent it and was told they would tell the Dr. right then, and it never happened. She suffered through the night and went somewhere else the next morning. It's hit or miss with this place at best. I've had good experiences here as well but when you feel bad you need a more reliable assurance that you will be helped quickly, in my opinion. I believe it depends on who you see here, not all the personnel leave you hanging.

My spouse's boss recommended to me Dr. Carter and I called at around 4:00PM on a Thursday and the admin that answered the phone said she would ask the staff to stick around as they were all about to leave for a conference to Chicago. I made the five minute drive from downtown and was treated with the best care with an amazing staff. All of them! The admin talked them into staying, the dental assistants and team did not treat me like a burden and was very kind an empathetic towards me. They created a temporary crown for me and scheduled an appointment for me faster than my previous dentist could even see me! I expected a monster bill for the emergency services but wasn't given any additional up charge for the short notice. The rest of my family now sees Dr. Beth and the rest of the staff. They are fantastic with kids as well as adults. It sounds crazy but now I look FORWARD to my visits with Dr. Beth and Shannon. Best dentist in town with big hearts and the ability to tell a few jokes along the way!

Moved both my in-laws into Vivera post COVID recovery. Beautiful new facility! Jody made our move…read morein effortless answering questions what seemed to be day and night from both out of state and over seas at times. My husband and I were able to see first hand the gentle and loving care and respect that you would hope your parents receive in an assisted living facility by Jody and her team. At sign in Jody made sure to maintain eye contact with my 87 year old father in law the entire time making it perfectly clear to all of us that without a power of attorney, he was the adult and at no time if we had different desires for him, would our wishes usurp decision making powers. I appreciated that and so did he. He was worried about losing his Dignity and autonomy when he was moving into assisted living and that was extremely helpful for him to realize that he would not be losing anything but gaining support in cleaning and food preparation. He now has access to a nurse on every floor PT and OT on-site, a gorgeous new facility, a handyman who is helpful in putting up thing for them, and loving souls like Kelly who does their activities and drives them to the stores and doctors appointments and Jody who's job says move in coordinator but is waaay more than that! She has also been my double checker...My only checker... my only complaint would be in the enthusiasm of selling us on Vivera (which was t needed, it sells itself) there were several times the marketing director gaves is incorrect information about pricing and social security info- when both my husband and I questioned the validity of the information she insisted yes she was correct. For many that would have put them in a really bad position. Fortunately, I had developed a relationship with Jody that when I had asked her she was able to clarify for me the accuracy and we were able to set our path straight early on in the on boarding process. I only say this so if you are looking... make sure you speak with Jody- she is a wealth of knowledge and with be straight forward with you! As a comparison, we had my mother in law at silver oaks first and it was fine, but the facility was not nearly as nice- I would say borderline depressing, and although the staff was friendly, they didn't go above and beyond like Jody, Kelly, Janie and the crew.
