We have ten-year old solar panels, and wanted battery backup. I spent a lot of time looking into…read moreour options and started emailing and calling the solar companies near Asheville. To make a long story short, Sugar Hollow Solar came in about more than 20% less than the next lowest estimate, and they were available 4 months sooner. One company couldn't provide the Tesla system, and they recommended Sugar Hollow! You know you're good when your competition sends you business. There were some issues with our wiring, but their electricians found a good work-around. They came when they said they would, and got the job done quickly and with minimum fuss. They said the Tesla system was so well-designed, that I wouldn't even realize there was a power outage. Indeed, we had a power outage the week after the installation, and sure enough, I got an email from Duke Progress to let me know. I couldn't tell otherwise. We also had their engineering people out to check on our existing system. Once again, great service. Now if only we had great sunshine every day...

We had deadlines to meet because of other things happening in our Ives, and, once they told us they could meet our deadlines, they did, only sooner than we expected. All of the staff, Dorian, Kyle, and Caroline - and their teams - were friendly, efficient, and skilled.

As one only a few Tesla Certified EV Installers in Atlanta, I will say they are the best. I called…read moreand contacted all the others Certified companies and this company is by far the best all around. The company was very responsive when I was inquiring about getting my Tesla Wall Connectors installed. I sent a few pics via email and answered a few questions and I had a quote. They also easily adjusted to my request change right before the install. The installer was very knowledgeable about the product and made the install look like it was orginally part of the house. Onsite the installer came up a custom solution to my needs and executed the install. The pricing was great and up front before any of the work started. I would definitely use them again

Signed a contract with very detailed material specifications. Researched all of them…read more(encapsulation material, dehumidifier, pump) so that I would be comfortable with the large amount I paid. They called me 2 weeks prior to the scheduled appointment to ask if installation could occur earlier. At this point, I assumed they had the agreed upon materials. I had to decline as I was researching some concerns. When they arrived for the scheduled appointment, they did NOT have the encapsulation material or the pump. One of the guys nervously said I was getting "an upgrade" for the material but as I had no time to research I wasn't sure what I got. I was also told that they would show me how to change the filter before they put the dehumidifier in the dark crawlspace. For some reason they neglected to do that. They said the pump would come at a later date. They performed as much of the installation as they could, installing the exterior water line before knowing the height of the pump, so ultimately it was installed on an uphill trajectory. Of course 2 weeks later it failed and water spilled into the crawlspace, which they fixed. They tried to show me how to clean the filter in the dark but of course that wasn't retained. They make a big deal of taking on the dehumidifier 5 year warranty, but the fact is if something goes wrong, as it did recently with mine where the dehumidifier stopped running and humidity levels increased dramatically, I learned they charge $250 just to make a service call. You can also sign up for a maintenance plan for 1 year for $250 where service calls are $45. That's more than heating and air companies charge to service your furnace and air conditioning! So 66 year old fixed income me crawled on my hands and knees to the dehumidifier, spent ten minutes in the dark fumbling with a screwdriver to finally reach the filter, then crawled back out of the crawlspace to clean it, then back on my hands and knees across the crawlspace to re-insert the clean filter that wasn't all that dirty, to once again fumble with the screwdriver to get the filter cover back on, only to get an "E4" error, which is associated with a multitude of different ailments. Absolutely ridiculous exercise when I forked over $5,400 just 15 months ago. I would not recommend them but whoever you go with check the fine print around servicing any equipment that you get. The service fees are exorbitant for just a fairly small dehumidifier and pump. There should be no charge if replacement is needed on a $2,000 dehumidifie!
