this company is utterly worthless. all they do is blow smoke up your ass and feed you bullshit in hopes you forget about how incompetent they are. there isnt enough space here for me to list the extent of how much i would love to fist fight each and every one of them for wasting my time and costing me money over the course of the last year. any issues i had and that i reached out to them to resolve was always met with indifference and no response
Here is a list of the things that I can remember off of the top of my head
1)Day 1. The crew was a No call/No show
2)The kids that were brought in to help dig the pwr cable trench cut my internet cable in half, used electrical tape to tape it back together, put/rubbed dirt on it to make it look like it was like that already, & never said anything about it until questioned specifically. Otherwise they would have just left it as is and buried it. I went a week without internet
3)Because of the clear display of dishonesty with the internet cable, when my fiancé & her mother had to run errands one day & did not feel comfortable leaving our garage open, the garage was shut & the workers had to stop what they were doing in the garage & work on outside stuff until they return. Employees were caught on video talking shit about them on the ring cam that is installed by the garage door. 1 of the phrases used was "nobody wants to steal their raggedy shit". Yea, that may be true, but they sure as hell will cut my internet cable and try and cover it up like nothing happened
4)Whoever did the cement drilling, left all 5 holes unfilled where the supports were installed. So for months they sat unfilled. Nothing was ever communicated to me about why they were left unfilled. It isn't a surprise looking back on it now. NO ONE EVER HAD ANY IDEA WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING. There was never any communication from what I would relay to them that still needed done. So each time they would send someone and they would show up...it would be a surprise to them when I go over with them everything that needs done because I want to be sure there is no room for misinterpretation...and they're response is always, "that's news to me" or "this is the 1st I'm hearing about this". they send their employees to job sites blind. Zero guidance
5)There was a device that was plugged in & hooked up to my router. I noticed it a day or so later & saw that it was plugged in wrong because the guy didn't care enough to take the extra 4 seconds to make sure it was properly plugged in. Since it wasn't his house, I am guessing he didn't care he had left a fire hazard. It took 4 seconds to properly plug it in the AC outlet
6)During 1 of the many waste of time appointments I had made for someone to come out & take care of all the stuff that was left unfinished, this time a guy was actually equipped to do some work & not just look at what needs done, take notes, and leave. According to him, all he was supposed to do is fill in the 5 support beam holes left that were unfilled. I made him aware of the other stuff that needed done & he had no idea (this was after I made sure to call in & let them know exactly what needed done so there is 0 room for miscommunication to do the following, fill in the holes, patch the cracks caused by drilling the beams, fill in the gaping holes with dirt around the pwr box and sidewalk that were left because the dirt was unevenly spread out/ran out of dirt, correct the poor workmanship by cutting the zip ties flush used to fasten the equipment in the car port). The guy agreed to patch the cracks but did not have the dirt to fill in the holes. Not only did he leave without telling me he was done, he also only filled in 2 of the 5 holes & did a half-ass job only filling in half of the cracks. the cracks he did fill in, were not complete
7)Whoever secured the equipment on the car port has awful craftsmanship/workmanship. zip ties are all cut differently. Some cut flush (as they should be to prevent cuts or being gauged), some cut half way, some cut ¾ of the way, and some not cut at all
8)There was trash, excess materials, cigarette butts, etc left at the job site. A simple 2 minute walk around the work areas picking up all of this would have been too much to ask I guess
9)several end caps missing on the rails the panels are mounted to
10)The "car port" isnt a car port at all. there are multiple 30 foot long gaps in the roof of it that creates safety hazards when the temperature drops to below freezing or it snows
11)i never received the promised compensation for all the times i had to take off of work, only to be wasted because the morons in charge didnt properly prepare their employees to complete the job correctly, resulting in more site visits i had to be there for
12)the engineers design was wrong and it cost me another $5k+ in upgrades
im out of space but believe me, i could go on and on
customer service means fuck all to this company
