Our homeowners insurance company, Liberty Mutual, informed us they wouldn't renew our policy unless…read morewe had the moss removed from our roof. They use drones to inspect their customers' homes, and since we rarely see the roof ourselves, we hadn't realized how much moss had accumulated over the years. We initially got a quote from another company, but decided to get a second opinion to ensure we were getting the best deal. Moss X provided a significantly lower estimate compared to the first company. They completed the job in about half a day, and our roof now looks brand new! They took before-and-after photos, and the difference is incredible. We submitted the photos to Liberty Mutual, and they reinstated our policy. Not only did this save us the hassle of shopping for a new (and likely more expensive) insurance provider, but it also extended the life of our roof by preventing further moss-related damage. I highly recommend Moss X for any roof cleaning needs--great work, affordable pricing, and excellent results!

I'm going to recommend Edward to my neighbor. Thank you Edward for making it right! Gracias! 6/17 Update: We got a professional solar panel cleaner in this morning who took many photos of our roof. Even though Edward said he would clean the solar panels and remove the pigeon poop around the solar panels, there are obvious heavy droppings all around the solar panels that he did not remove and the solar panels were untouched. Basically we only got half of what was promised to us and we even tipped him. Very sad. I'm going to hire the same person from East Bay Solar Cleaning to also clean my roof since Edward didn't remove the pigeon poop.

I can't say enough good things about Crown Gutters and Mike Owens. From the beginning, Mike was…read moreresponsive, professional, and easy to work with. He responded to my initial request for an estimate within 24 hours, communicated clearly throughout the process, and arrived exactly when he said he would. What stood out most was Mike's commitment to doing the job correctly. On the day of installation, he had his materials ready when he noticed flaws in them. Rather than trying to make them work or moving forward with substandard materials, he stopped, contacted me, explained the situation, and ordered new materials. That decision demonstrated his honesty, integrity, and dedication to quality. Mike's time management, work ethic, and attention to detail were excellent. He completed the project as proposed and never cut corners. He even went above and beyond by patching a large hole left behind by roofers who had previously removed the gutter from my garage wall and failed to repair the damage. Mike provides everything you hope for when hiring a contractor: excellent communication, professionalism, honesty, quality workmanship, and a genuine commitment to doing things right. His proposal was thorough, his pricing was fair, and the entire experience was exceptional. I would gladly work with Mike and Crown Gutters again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of gutter work. It's refreshing to find a contractor who takes such pride in his work and stands behind the quality of what he does.

He suggested replacing before the panels get installed because it would be much more difficult to do after. I'm glad I did. David did high quality work on all the repairs and sent me tons of before and after pictures. They even painted all the dry rot repairs good as new! Huge projects like this are always nerve wracking, but Nicholas put us completely at ease. I was familiar with his work, as he replaced skylights at our old house several years ago and did a fantastic job. He and his team are true professionals and treated our property like it was their own, cleaning up every single day before leaving, checking in with me by text and calling as needed because part of the job was completed while we were out of town. I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Bailey's Roofing. Secondarily, Nick recommended applying flashing around our roofline to deter damage we had been incurring from relentless woodpeckers. We immediately noticed a marked decrease in activity and now those pesky birds aren't damaging our home. When you hire Bailey's you're getting professionals who thoroughly understand the business. This was a huge value beyond the very competitive and fair price we paid. Highly recommend! Shout out to Xavier and the team for always being so nice and easy to deal with during the process too.

Gabriel (the owner) and his crew showed up on time and were done with everything within a couple hours, and it was a fair bit of effort since it hadn't been done in several years + the fact there's a large pine tree right next to our home. At the end, Gabriel billed me toward the lower end of his estimate, and I thought it was very reasonable for the scope of work, time here, and cost of materials which were included (the gutter guards). He transparently gave me the Home Depot receipt for the gutter guards and also gave me the remaining ones left in the box to keep at the end. I definitely plan to engage with Gabriel at least every two years for all our roof/gutter/downspout cleaning & related needs in the future and highly recommend him to others as well.
