Finding a vendor that can 'do-it-all' was a head-pulling process until I found Mikhail (he goes by 'Michael') who said yes to all three. He showed up on time, immediately ran a ground scan performing the oil tank sweep, thoroughly went through the house for the inspection, and left a radon test kit in the basement to collect an air sample, all for about two hours. Very next day, I received three reports at 9pm: 1. Inspection 2. Termites 3. Oil Tank Sweep Currently awaiting a radon test result. Since collecting a sample takes two days and the sample has to be shipped to a lab, several more days are needed. He's done a great job and I highly recommend hiring him for your due diligence. Thanks, Michael! Dan

Now I'm stuck with thousands of dollars of bills to repair after the purchase of the home. When I asked the company to compensate via insurance, they stated I signed an agreement which I can only claim damages up to the amount of the inspection fee $450!!!. They screwed me and cost me money on the home price as well as repair and refuse to make me whole! Mark Bendit, shame on you! Please check the agreement before you sign. It says you waive your right to be compensated above the inspection fee if they are negligent!! Do not sign! Do not use their services!!! UPDATE!! Based on owners response: The owner didn't refer me to his insurance as he claims. He referred me to his lawyer, who stated they were not obligated to pay me for their negligence. They will only return my inspection fee if I sign a release form. Mark, please don't make me post the release form next. Having your insurance fix the damage would have been the honorable thing to do.

In addition, there was water entering the basement due to improper grading -- something that was also never mentioned in the inspection. Once payment was received, that changed. It was impossible to get a response on scheduling the second visit. The customer service representative answers every question with "100%," when in fact, there was 0% service, responsiveness, or resolution. I spent THREE MONTHS! calling, texting, emailing - when I threatened legal action I was told I would be reimbursed for the full amount of my payment - then promptly ghosted again. In the same email, they stated they would not contest if I chose to dispute through my bank. I was informed by my bank two months later that they had, in fact, denied my claim based on the merchants information. The amount of time and energy I have invested into this is so deeply unacceptable. This company should never be used, and should not be allowed to process payments or transactions of any kind. Even when the seller and their agent were rude and trying to rush Bob through the process, he let them know, he was going to take as long as necessary to do a thorough inspection. Just to name a few things he did that stood out to me: checking every electrical socket, noticing that since they were older- they didn't have a GFCI protector for us, air filters, screen doors, electric panel, doors and cabinets opening and closing properly! He even realized on the electrical panel that there was a garbage disposal for the sink that the seller decided to deactivate and no longer use. So now we know we have the option to install that if we would like! If you are looking for someone to rush through the inspection, go elsewhere. He will take the time necessary to do a thorough job. I highly recommended Bob and his team and will use him again in the future.
