I have lots of orthopedic pain issues and generally choose deep tissue massage. Christina's technique is very effective in treating deep knots and tension and I always leave feeling better. She utilizes a variety of techniques and customizes her approach to the needs of the client. Her office space is nice and soothing and parking is easy. Aromatherapy and hot compress and towels are integrated into even the most basic massage. She also offers tuning fork therapy which has been effective for me in reducing pain and tension. Christina is so fantastic that I followed her from a membership massage place to her new location. I drive across town to see her, even though I have several other massage options located closer to me. If you are looking for an effective and restorative massage definitely give her a try!

Being a fellow therapist, I am EXTREMELY picky and internally harsh on who's working on me since I can't seem to find many therapists who fit my standards. Mia is by far one of the most talented therapists I have ever been to, and I get a massage 1-2x/mo to keep my stressful life balanced and manageable. She is extremely intuitive, and has the knowledge and expertise to back up her skills. Mia does cupping therapy as well, and many therapists are always using the wrong technique and hurting me..... but Mia was taught the proper way to apply and use the cups for both relaxation and pain relief. Regardless of whatever that salty one star review that's posted to the top, Mia is a great communicator and prioritizes her clients health & wellbeing, and I always book my appointment months in advanced online to secure my spot so I don't end up disappointed waiting until the last minute. Her room is very tranquil and welcoming and made for therapeutic touch and a wonderful bodywork experience. The only thing I wish Mia would do..... is move to Baton Rouge so I didn't have to travel up there for amazing bodywork!

Locating the actual office with the suite number was a little confusing but I managed to find it. The magic happened as soon as I walked in the warm quiet room and it was happily ever after. I've been to several places where the massage bed is cold and I hate that. This bed had a temperature control so it was warm and cozy. Just perfect. Mia was absolutely awesome and focused on the right spots without me even having to tell her. I went in thinking my neck and shoulders were tight but my legs were the worst. She worked her magic on my legs and they've never felt better. She applied the right amount of pressure and did everything right. She has healing hands and I will be coming back.
