There were a series of excellent reviews. I sent hima a message and he got back to me right away. When we spoke, Ian himself walked me through the troubleshooting over the phone. He suggested it could be a bad bulb connection (take it out and clean the contacts) or an issue with the wall switch. Sure enough, it turned out to be our dimmer switch -- it just couldn't hold the charge properly and was causing the constant flickering. What really stands out is that Ian could have easily scheduled a service call and charged me a couple hundred bucks to come out. Instead, he gave me the exact fix for free and saved me the hassle and expense. In a world where so many companies push for paid visits, this level of honesty and helpfulness is rare and genuinely appreciated. While it cost me nothing, it cost him his time.I As a result, I promised Ian I'd write a glowing review, and here it is. When I called, it turns out he refused to give me an invoice because he thinks I am going to commit fraud all because I asked him the day that he was here if he is licensed bonded and insured which is a normal question to ask of a contractor. He accused me of trying to commit fraud when he was the one who spent two hours here and couldn't even figure what the problem is all the time saying that he had to leave to buy his mom lunch.

Igor with Energy and Partners was very easy to deal with, the came out when they said they would, did the work that they said they would for the price quoted... bottom line they did what the promised with no fuss. The work performed was great, and when it took them a little longer to do one of the installs, they just did it. The only issue, and its a small issue, when the removed one fixture to install a new LED fixture (who's footprint was slightly smaller than the original fixture) they didn't patch the difference. They never quoted doing it, so I wasn't upset, it's just a note, they are not plaster and drywall specialist they are electricians. read more

I was very pleased with Energy & Partners for their quick quote, prompt and detailed diagnostic, repair and fees. Slava and Edgar were able to diagnose the root cause and repaired it within an hour. Our tenant lost power from several outlets in the living room, balcony and front door. The cause was not the breaker and the outlets in the vicinity and the root cause was a bit of a mystery. Slava responded extremely fast to my late Saturday query for help with a DIY dimmer/fan switch install that didn't go as planned. We settled on a Monday morning visit from him and his partner and they were super prompt as well. They were very easy to work with and noted that the particular switch I bought wasn't compatible with the ceiling fan I had - all good. While they were at my residence, I had them replace an old 20+ year ceiling fan that has seen better days with a new one that I had bought which works great!
