They not only are highly educated teachers who strive for technique with the students , but they treat the students like a person, they instill characteriaitcs of leadership in all of the students from the youngest to the graduating seniors. As a parent it's important to place your child or children in an activity that he or she enjoys. Let's face it our son or daughter might not choose to be a dancer forever , however they are always a person. If you want your child to be encouraged , have self confidence and disciple and learn team spirit along with amazing choreography and leadership skills then make the effort and enroll him or her at Raedenes. Only good if you have money and have been there a long time…read more.. the place is firstly, expensive. Tuition for SELECT is 200+ a MONTH!!! For two days a week! All of the costumes- 100 each, makeup and hair- 100, shoes- 200!!! The Fusion dance camp costs are well into 1000 for one week, and are MANDATORY for those competing!! We haven't even gotten to fees! For those unfamiliar, it is a family studio, everyone has know everyone forever! As someone new, I felt embarrassed and out of place completely! The people talk behind your back and even had issues where people had to step in..... The place is LOUD and unless you went in person to the place, the schedules online are super confusing!!! The teachers placed top priority on the students THEY liked, aka, who's there longest and who dances the best. I barely improved and learned being there for a year, I learned more watching YouTube videos and had better flexibility stretching on my own. Classes are slow and teachers talk super quietly in class yet scream when they are outside! It is a beautiful studio and a wonderful place, but the people! AGHHHH! I was stuck in the back to walk and pose for my jazz, tap, lyrical and hip hop numbers. The only place I felt truly challenged was Mr.Kevins ballet and Mr.Pauls Acro classes. And don't think your getting all the best choreography. Maddie Ziegler at 8 years old could perform the teen girls (14/15) jazz, over pass the lyrical and tap, EASILY. Those top choreographers? Yeah, only the top get them. The 17 year olds who are the most advanced and have been there the longest or the families that pay the most! I would have gone anywhere else or started earlier or just take tech, ballet and Acro. Watch out!

Most of the teachers (especially Jenna and Johnny) are great. The issue is the owner Jackie ("Make…read moreeverything red!"). She is extremely unprofessional and cannot handle any criticism. She is a genuinely horrible person. "My child was left unattended in the dark parking lot because class ended 20 minutes early." Excuses and no apology. Blaming the child. "My daughter is being bullied and was choked by another student." (Multiple times) You are kicked out of the studio. I'm not sure if she has some kind of mental illness ("Make everything red!"), or if she is just an idiot (could be both). Seems like a lot of the students' parents are "friends" of the owner (including the choker). If you're not in the "friend" group, you are ignored or treated like a 2nd class citizen. We tried to ignore the mentally ill child in charge ("Make everything red!") because we liked our daughter's teachers. Unfortunately Jackie couldn't handle being questioned. She claimed my daughter thinks she's better than everyone else. She is, but doesn't act that way. She just doesn't enjoy being bullied and choked. We'll miss some of the teachers. We will not miss the mentally ill child in charge ("Make everything red!").

The instructor had very little patience, was very adaiment about getting her to jump over stuffed animals she had in a circle... which was fine, but she was pulling my daughter away from them, my daughter kept stepping on them and she made me come in to help... so I did.... We gave it a break for a bit and my daughter was following direction well.. then she went back to try to get her to jump over the plush toys... but the instructior wasn't nice about it, I found it strange she kept going back to it. My daughter had no issue following the teacher around the toys, just didn't get the concept to jump over them. I was over it at this point. Shes two, and the class is just for fun and to play with other kids.... Also was our trial class lol , didn't understand why it was SO SERIOUS. My daughter starts crying to go home, so we do. I was switching studios so I could see her have fun, last one didn't have windows or a monitor to watch kids.. loved how they were with the kids tho! now this class rubbed me the wrong way. Not sure why people teach children if they have no patience. She was with my daughter for maybe 10 mins total lol and I felt uncomfotable. She was super nice on the phone, but felt like she was a drill Sargent in person.
