The tattoo artist with long hair is a complete dumbass when it comes to work. Either that or he's lazy asf. I showed him the tattoo and he said it was impossible to do due to the level of detail. It was a side neck tattoo from my ear to the end of my neck and for whatever reason he had come to the brilliant conclusion that he had to fit the whole tattoo on his 4x6 business card??? He rejected to do all the back up art I tried to give him, which were literal branch designs, and not only told me he couldn't do it but said I couldn't get it the way wanted it and it would have to be upside down with the end of the branch growing upwards because thats how trees grow. If I wanted my tattoo a certain way dont tell me you're going to do it another way, I clearly wanted it that because its for ME!?After like 10mins of being rejected of any art I saved, I asked what would be a possible design to do he had the nerve to tell me it was an infinite possibility! He planned on charging me $150/hr as well!!! I went about 15mins down the street to Atascocita and not only got the first design I wanted for $120 but it took less than an hour to do so!!! Literally walked in, showed the guy the design and he said "yeah we can do that" in less than 15 seconds of looking at it! Either way do NOT go to this guy! Overly priced !!! I've been to this location twice for 2 different piercings. The first time he told me he couldn't change the dermal top for the piercing and recommended I get a piercing using the silver ball no rhinestone. I went back today for a double nose piercing he wanted to charge $60 for the piercing plus $26 for the nose ring. I asked to see the book for the Friday $20 tattoos and I was told I had to come back Friday to see it. I'm not sure if it's my skin tone but he was not very welcoming and I won't be returning. She was kind enough to inbox me on FB after reading this review). So there's a new person there, that obviously has no idea what she's doing..... LISTEN!!!!!!!!! I have over 25 tattoos, my tongue has been pierced twice, I have a tragus piercing & my eyebrows are micro bladed.....When I tell you NONE of them sent a chill through me like the nose piercing today!!! She pierced it, something went wrong & the jewelry wouldn't go through....So she had to do it again... Out of all the nose piercings that I have witnessed, I have NEVER EVER, did I mention NEVER seen blood??? Well trust was the FIRST time & I'll be damned if it was MY NOSE BLEEDING!!!!! Horrible experience!!!!!!!!!!! And what made it worse, she had the nerve to giggle.....Can't tell you how damn ANGRY I was!!!!! Just my luck that I recorded videos!! Came in with my sister on a Friday night to get nipple piercings. The receptionist was super friendly, greeted us upon arrival. Told us there was someone ahead of us but didn't take long before we went in. Amanda was super knowledgeable and kind. Trays were clean and everything used was sanitized which I appreciated very much! Amanda was Very patient with my sister who was panicking during her piercings. Took the time to make us feel comfortable and safe. Mind you, this was both of ours second time getting nipple piercings (not previously done by this shop) so my sister was pretty worried about getting them done wrong. Definitely will come back for more. Amanda also did my septum piercing which took less than 10 seconds. She's very caring, helps you relax if in distress. Highly recommend this place! I took my daughter in for a septum piercing yesterday, and I had to take an important phone call. The phone call took about 5 minutes. In that time, my daughter and a gentleman that was waiting in the waiting room told me that Jason (the piercer) told my daughter "I have news for you, but regardless of what anyone says about you out there, you are NOT PERFECT". My daughter was shy and nervous because this was her first real piercing. She asked him if he would give her a warning before he sticks her. He said "Why" and she said "Because I have some anxiety " and he said "Why would I care about your anxiety ". When I came in, all was fine and I thought he was a nice and informative person. I don't normally do this, I don't like to mess with peoples livelihood, but the results of my tattoo warrant a review. I have been to Jason before for a small line work tattoo. From that experience I knew he appreciated and liked doing traditional tattoos. When I found the knee tattoo I wanted I trusted him to be able to do it because of this. I came in, showed him the picture, and he had me lay down and started drawing on my knee freehand, which is very cool, but he did not check in with me at any point to see if I liked the placement or the sizing until he had finished it, (three layers of marker and pen). The tattoo looked crooked to me, and he told me it was because of the shape of my leg, which is fine, but I would rather the tattoo look straight. I asked him to just rotate it a hair to make it look more even to my eyes. He decided to redraw it on cling film and then trace it. I let him do that, he put it back on, and it definitely shifted, more than what I would have liked it to, but it looked straight enough. I felt uncomfortable looking at it and taking my time to decide if it was what I wanted, almost rushed. I did not feel fully comfortable continuing to change it, (one of my main gripes with any tattoo artist, moving stencils should be okay, this is on my body permanently!), so I let him start. I showed Jason the colors that I wanted for the flowers and the leaves. I told him I like the gradient green and the bright red/pink, (I have attached it). He picked it out 2 colors. Not even close to what I asked for, but he had me playing down so I couldn't see everything he was doing so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He took creative liberties on some of the flowers without discussing it with me, (and executed it poorly). One of the flowers he had to freehand a bit because the transfer wasn't complete and it is HUGE compared to the other flowers and in my opinion completely throws off the balance of the tattoo. And I hate to say this but the work is sloppy as fuck. Didn't keep the color inside of the lines, color consistency/opaqueness is terrible, some line work looks like shit. It's just upsetting. This is my first leg tattoo and I was very nervous. This was not a welcoming or comfortable environment. It was very "I'm the artist and I know what I am doing," which is understandable to a point, but you also want your customers to be happy. Now I am going to find someone to fix it. I have even thought about having someone cover it up and I have had it for a week and a half. This was not a difficult tattoo. An apprentice could do this. I try not to be a difficult client. I came in on a sunday night to get my septum pierced. They were pretty busy but the piercer got everyone in and out very quickly. I was given about a 45 minute wait time and it only took 25. The piercer Amanda was so nice. She did an amazing job, it was so quick and painless. Definitely recommend this place and will now only be going here for all my piercing needs! read more

The worst please do not come here, this was my second time here and the first time it was fine I had a lady pierce me and she was nice and easy, came in on Saturday w my brother and his fiancé and Jason was really rude just told us to fill out the paperwork and jabbed his finger on the counter when we forgot to fill something out, later he told us "he didn't care who went first but to hurry up" and then proceeded to tell me that my nose was not perfect and weird, when I requested a specific size he said he didn't have it but ended up having it, after he pierced it he shoved his finger up my nose to clean it but just ended up hurting me more, please listen to all these reviews and do not come here read more

This is a small facility in a little strip center. They are clean and professional. It's a non-smoking shop, which is some thing I appreciate a lot. Everyone here was very nice. So many shops have an attitude that can make you feel unwelcome. Not these guys. They were happy to welcome us old folks in for a talk and then to do the work. These folks take walk-ins and appointments. They will do some flash for you or work with you to do a custom job as well. My piercing: They don't have a huge selection of jewelry, but do have the nice basic stainless stuff to use in your piercing. That's OK, since once everything is healed, you can get what you like. My piercing went off without a hitch. I'm very happy with it. I am horrible with names, but I think the guy who did it for me is Jose. He's really sweet and knows what he's doing. Hub's tattoo: My husband is an old sailor and decided to get his swallows on his chest, even though he had to leave the sea long ago. He wanted something more realistic than the old school sailor ink. He did his research and found a swallow image he liked that was more photo-realistic. He shopped that image around for a while and when we came in to Enduring Tattoo, he really liked the artist Ellis and the price quoted. Long story short, hub discovered that chest tattoos can hurt and Ellis did a wonderful job. His tattoo looks great and hub will DEFINITELY go back to Ellis to do the second bird on his other side. Got a tattoo last year in December of 2019 by one of the artists working there at the time. First tattoo so I was so excited to see it and was disappointed by how it was done. It wasn't completely colored in, the lines are godawful and the 999 are all three different shapes. Completely horrible and I showed them upon the tattoo being healed a few weeks in and was promised that they would retouch it for free. I ended up having to leave and come back 6 months later but was now told I'd have to be charged for the tattoo. Horrible, they hired terrible tattoo artist that probably did more god awful tattoo's only for them to go and act like it's not their fault because he doesn't work there anymore. I'm glad he does not but I still have to wear this tattoo I am unsatisfied with. Would not recommend this place at all, houston has so many better shops to go to. Side note- my girlfriend and her brother got their nose pierced here also and they can attest that Jason was rude to them behind the scenes. Saying things like your nose is Weird! Nobody said your big body was ass built weird? Also, Jason hire better workers and take responsibility for their actions as it's your shop on the line, not mine! Edit- Jason ended up messaging me about how he said that their noses weren't identical but hearing it from my girlfriend, she said he called it weird and can attest to it. Also a very condescending tone and a carefree attitude to work with me. Also said something about a 6 month window when I was never told?? I got my tattoo, the guy barely said a word and I was done. That was it. Then when I called about a touch up, they basically gave me the runaround that it was too new so I waited till it healed but I left houston during that time. He claims I want a new tattoo or changes tattoo when really the lines are horrible and it isn't even fully colored in, in some sections, so I'd just like that touched up. Hardly a different tattoo. I'd rate this less than 1 star if i could. Somehow, a majority of reviewers can agree Jason does not have good customer service and should be canned. Went in to get my friends helix pierced after previously getting mine pierced here. The lady went through a box of rings and studs and brought a black stand that had additional studs and belly button rings on the back. We picked the one stud from the wall stand that, we were told, was surgical steel. My friend went back to get pierced and the piercer put a hoop in. For those of you unfamiliar with piercings, no recognized APP certified piercer would pierce you with a hoop over a stud since a stud heals smoothly and has room to expand and cuts down on possible keloids. My friend and I told this to the piercer and she lost her mind and started telling us that "obviously you saw you were pierced with a hoop. The ones on the wall stand were for nose piercings". We never said anything about a nose so why even show us those? She then pulled out other boxes she "showed us" that were piercing tops we never saw. There was no "hey I guess since I was messing with the hoops I got confused and gave you the hoop. How can I make it right?" Or "it was a miscommunication can I give you a discount or can I discount you the stud jewelry for when your helix heals". Just a hostile nasty behavior. Tip for business, when an issue is presented to you by a customer, understanding trumps hostility. You disrespected me, my friend and yourself with how your staff acted Was planning to get a few more piercings done but will definitely wait and go to a business that knows how to conduct themselves like one. He told me he couldn't do my tattoo any smaller(it's much larger than I would have liked), had a very heavy hand, straight up made me take my bra off(my tattoo is on my upper side rib) and usually people cover their nipples themselves... he pulled me to him and looked at me and then covered it. He insulted me because I hadn't shaved under my arms that day, told me that since I'm in the Air Force I'm technically not in the military, THEN miscalculated the change for the amount of the tattoo, so $10. Recently got an Ashley piercing. For starters, a curved barbell was placed into my lip! My piercing was throbbing! Second, it was too short. My piercing was the length of my lip while it wasn't swollen, I had no swell space! On top of that, my lip almost sealed over my ball! Let's not forget the no flathead. The pain was unbearable. Plus, the spot of the piercing. The back of the barbell sat directly in the middle of my front teeth and on my gums! Was placed to low, which resulted in horrible swelling and having to order multiple piercings. Also developed two keloids from the trauma due to my teeth pushing the ball into my lip. All in all, if you're looking for an Ashley piercing, don't waste your time here. Had to let mine closed and got rescheduled for Magic Needle. read more

So I went to this shop a little over a week ago and was already nervous going to a shop that isn't APP certified. But I'm a paramedic on a budget (there was my first mistake.) I walked in and the two artists in the shop couldn't have cared less about me being there. One artist who was supposed to be up next to pierce pawned if off to the other. Who might I add had his dog in the shop (while cute did not help me feel like this is the most sterile environment.) I told the piercer that I had to have titanium jewelry due to a sensitivity to steel and paid an up charge to get it. Well the piercer then proceeded to pierce me and while I hope he did some behind the scenes sterilization, he got set up rather quickly and I never saw him wash his hands and didn't wear a mask. Throughout my first week my Daith Piercing, (which was a curved bar even though I asked for a captive ring) had fallen out twice because of the low quality of jewelry and I had to go to another shop to get better niobium jewelry placed. The other shop (APP certified) informed me that the curved bar shouldn't have been used and that the placement of my daith was wrong. Then today I am having severe pain and swelling with my faux rook and Tragus piercings so I used a magnet to see if those were really titanium and the magnet stuck (indicating that no. They are not.) Finally fed up, I called this shop and after the manager told me that he doesn't really know much about piercings, which I find odd, he transfers me to the master piercer who tells me that it is not the fake jewelry they put in but must be my aftercare that is the issue. Even though I have been following the aftercare recommended by artists around the country. He then tries to tell me that if I had a problem with steel I wouldn't be able to eat with a spoon cause it's made of steel too so I must be a liar. He then tells me he's an APP certified piercer which isn't true. When I asked him why my swelling on my daith went down when quality jewelry was placed he told me that it's because the other piercer cleaned it (trying to say that one single cleaning would fix all my issues.) When I told him I didn't want to speak with him anymore and would like to speak with the manager he told me absolutely not you're not talking to him anymore. read more

I hate I had to give 1 star to comment. He definitely deserves NO stars at all!! I called the night before to see if they take walk-ins the guy/owner said yes but he was booked that night I told him it was for tomorrow he said ok tomorrow is fine. I was the first one there the next day when they opened he said he was fully booked for the day. Hilarious because NO ONE was there. He was very rude and sarcastic. I had read bad reviews and still decided to give him a try. Now I see why there were bad reviews. I don't know how he's still open. I live near by and had to pass by pretty much the whole day running errands. NO ONE showed up to his fully booked day. For someone who claimed to be fully booked had no cars in the parking lot. Had he just said he didn't want to do "our" tattoo I would have respected that more, than straight lying about being booked the whole day. I wouldn't recommend this place. I am in Texas for flight attendant training and I had a heart piercing in my ear that I couldn't take out on my own. (Can only have one piercing per ear) Today was my first free day and I spent my morning looking for piercing stores. He took his time to show me that he was using a new set of everything, and he even took the time to ask what type of music I like before he picked a Pandora station to work to. He drew up a sketch and made changes to it until I was completely satisfied. He was very honest about the best colors for my skin tone and making sure the details lasted. Other tattoo shops I've been to weren't upfront and honest about how the tattoo would change over time. I was visiting Texas and saw this tattoo shop because me and my mom always get tattoos when we visit different states but anyways there was three of us and we walked in and the shop was nice and there was no wait time the artist asked each of us what we wanted I showed him the picture below and he asked me what did it mean I said beautiful and wisdom with a flower he tells me that his Korean is rusty and he was going to look it up I then told him that my boyfriend picked the tattoo and translated what it meant he's Korean he says "hmph still going to have to look it up" as if my boyfriend lie about hat it meant. drew up the tattoos as he was drawing them me and my mom decided to get piercings. My mom got a dermo and I got my nosed pierced Amanda was very nice while piercing my nose. once he as done he did the tattoos one by one but he was rude and quiet while doing the tattoos. My mom stated she was in pain while receiving her foot tattoo and told he was hurting her he continued on tattooing and she asked did he use numbing cream he said no and continued etching into her foot. while getting my tattoo I asked him questions he stuck his headphones in and ignored me It was also my birthday weekend I ask if there birthday discounts he gave me smart remark about how if he gave me one he would charge more for the tattoo mind you my tattoo wasn't huge or out of the ordinary it was very simple he didn't give a price on the tattoos till it was time to pay he stated my bill as $152 plus tax on the tattoo and that the nose rings weren't free only they were $13 extra. As of today my moms $60 dermo piercing came out she only had it for 3 days. I'm pretty sure Jason was the one to do my friend and my tattoo. I went in with a picture of what tattoo I wanted. I was told to find a different picture which I did. Right after about the 3rd picture I showed him he said "I don't know why you're still looking, I'm going to draw it anyways." Even if he wasn't trying to be, he came off rude. He told my friend who was with me he couldn't put the names she wanted in her tattoo because it would be too small which I kinda understand. We got there right after they opened which was 2pm, and I didn't start getting my tattoo until about 3:15. I understand he was finishing something before he could start but he also had to go outside to smoke in the middle of us waiting. He came and smelled heavily like smoke which was not okay. I felt rlly judged by him from the tattoo I wanted. Mine turned out great and I'm glad he actually took the time to draw something out. But when he put the outline on my friend she said it was a little off centered(which she was right). Instead of trying to fix it first time she asked, he tried to give her a whole explanation on how he had it right. He kept arguing with her. But she just wanted it in the spot she would have liked instead of it looking awkward. The whole time we were there he was just being kinda cocky, by making rude comments. not to mention the race joke when we first got there.
