First, I want to say when Xavier came, he said no such thing about he was only there to get the AC running. The dehumidifier is attached to the AC unit in the attic so how is this not all connected? And when he came to tell us he got the AC unit running we were told he shut the breaker to the dehumidifier and the AC started running with cooler air. Second, Sunday morning at 6: am I looked at the dehumidifier thermostat on the wall under my AC thermostat to see the Dehumidifier was running. My husband went to look at the breaker to find it was NOT SHUT OFF. Doing my own research on the Aprilaire with all the hot, humid weather we were having the DEHUMIDIFIER probably froze. Especially after it came on Sunday by itself. But was supposed to be OFF. So, it took Abbott Air to respond to us about our dehumidifier almost a week and only because I made my post on Yelp? What kind of customer service is that? Do not make excuses for the weather and your techs being overwhelmed with calls. We should have had a call on Monday as we were told by your customer service department, but we did not. OR you should have had a tech to our house on Monday to look at the dehumidifier. IF at that time we were told a part had to be ordered waiting is something we could accept but being totally ignored, NO. We spent a lot of money on new equipment with Abbott Air 2024 and 2025 up to $14,000. I am not looking for being a special customer with you and I am sure there are many other customers who have spent more with Abbott Air, but when a customer calls and needs service it should be followed through. If a tech is not qualified to fix a piece of equipment, then it should be called in to the appropriate tech and be followed up immediately not a week later. If you sell equipment and install that equipment, then you best better have the correct TRAINED tech to work on it. TRAINING VERY IMPORTANT.

Daniel came in my home and knew what was wrong within just a few minutes. He cleaned some pipe out and my air was on again! I do not suggest hiring this company. I hired them to replace an AC unit. I was out of town so…read morecouldnt show them the unit itself, which is located in a highrise called Oasis Grand where many AC contractors perform work. I also sent them a picture of the actual unit inside. They said they will send a tech to view an outside unit so they'll be able to identify which unit the inside actually is. I texted them to re confirm the unit and they were confident with everything & sent an invoice. I then applied for a 0 % credit offer through Eternity's program to finance the unit. I got approved after a hard credit inquiry and on the day of install, they said they cannot replace the AC unit because they dont service that type of AC unit. Instead of admitting fault, they also made excuses that the original unit was modified, etc after the tech viewed it, I then asked him to send pictures. When the pictures were not sent they said building didnt allow them in. In essence, they lied about seeing the actual unit on install day. I then asked them to assist me with reversing the hard credit inquiry and they did not respond or do anything to assist. This hard inquiry dropped my score by around 10 points! This company is very unprofessional and dis honest.
