Service each time has been fast, and consistent. All of the staff we have worked with knew the menu, and had great suggestions. They also frequently checked in on us and we didn't wait too long for anything. The most recent visit had Brad working with us, and he did a great job. Food wise, Gouda Mushroom Burger is fantastic every time. A great mix of flavors, and a hefty burger, you will not be disappointed. Every time we have come here, someone gets it. The fries are also well seasoned and tasty. Highly recommend. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken. This was absolutely fantastic. Served over a bed of sauteed serrano slaw (which was amazing, I usually don't like slaw), this delightful concoction was stuffed with cream cheese spinach artichoke and cream cheese with a balsamic glaze over the top. It comes with very good mashed potatoes. I don't like most restaurants potatoes, so that's a bonus win. Really enjoyed, would get it again. The beer! They have a really good menu that rotates. They have local craft brews, in addition to your standard domestics. They also have ciders for those that don't fancy a beer. Our last visit I had a Belgian Tripel, and a Pumpkin Stout. Delish! A great spot for a lunch or chill dinner. Plenty of tv space for games. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

As far as the ambiance, it is my kind of place with craft beer and good bar food. Now the pizza. That is on a five star level. Had the big apple deep dish and man!!! Did not disappoint in any way shape or form.

"Oh my God! That looks massive!"…read more I uttered those six words when the waitress brought me my order of this place's First Timer Chicago deep dish pizza. I initially assumed that I was going to get something small, but the pie by my estimate could feed at least two people. Speaking of Chicago deep dish, that's how I found myself at Rotolo's. A mere mention online of what I think is the best pizza in the universe piqued my interest. Before my first-ever visit, a glance at the menu on its website helped confirm it all. Because it was a Monday night, not too many people were around. Despite the ample availability of tables, I chose to sit at the bar. The bartender took my order of ten sweet heat wings and the First Timer. My phone was in need of a charge so I was glad that under the bar is a socket to plug my device in. One problem was solved as I glanced around the restaurant from my seat. It's spacious and laid back. I imagine that it would be packed on the weekends and holidays, which is a good thing. Also, the eatery wholeheartedly supports our veterans and they plan to do something to help our brave men and women in uniform on Veterans Day next month. Moving on to the food. Rotolo's isn't stingy when it comes to wings. By that, I mean they aren't the kind in which you're done after two bites. We're talking legit poultry here, tender, amazingly prepared poultry. As for the sweet heat flavor, it was more sweet than anything. I didn't mind; it was like the wings were somewhat candy coated. About the pizza, having earned high marks for its surprisingly big size for a ten-incher, it also impressed me in the presentation and taste departments. The cheese, sauce, and meats mixed in well together. The crust thick and crispy. I couldn't believe that I had a much closer establishment to go to if I ever want to satisfy my craving for the pizza my idol, the late Tony Bourdain, called the worst thing to come out of the Windy City. *Laughs* It was worth the near $30 I parted with. Before I forget, they also have Chicago tavern style (read: thin) and Detroit style pizza. A woman Who sat next to me had the latter and highly recommended it. With a very intriguing menu, I can see myself making a lot of trips here.
