I was greeted with a very warm welcome, I made my two appointments. 1) Teeth cleaning & I need three crowns replaced, two other dentist didn't feel comfortable getting their hands in the mix ( as one dentist said to me.) I have been in pain ( crowns) since 2010. I saw Dr. Fred Wong to replace crowns # 2 & 3, I can honestly say I am completely out of pain! And DR. Fred Wong has a very gentle hand, you do not even feel the injections, yes he is that good! DDS Fred Wong has the two best hygienist I have ever been to! His staff is so welcoming and very sweet! I cannot tell you how excited I am to say. I found my dentist! I have referred my husband and my patients family members & friends to Dr DDS Fred Wong for dentistry and Dr. Mark Wong for Orthodontist. They lied and said my mom had a lot of cavities just so they could swap all of her fillings out to porcelain. She didn't have any, she had just been to a dentist a few months before, she only moved to this one because their office was closer. They claimed she needed a deep cleaning, a crown, and possible a root canal. They treated all kinds of things besides the actual problem my mom went there for and used up all of her insurance coverage. Now her tooth fell out and can't go anywhere to get it fixed because there's no money left. They lady at the front desk was also rude when my mom questioned a medicine she was prescribed. My mom is allergic to penicillin and she wanted to know if the medicine contained it and instead of asking the doctor or double checking, she gave attitude and said, "that's what your doctor prescribed you." People can die from allergic reactions FYI, lack of compassion and basic common sense from her. They convince you things are wrong when they are not just so they can work on you. There is a reason they're are an unclaimed business on yelp. They know what they're doing. DO NOT COME HERE.

About 18+ years ago I experienced a very traumatic dental encounter going in to get some minor…read moredental work. I had an impacted wisdom tooth that hadn't come through the gun line and was infected due to the impaction. Without getting into the major details of it all, I ended up leaving that dental office in an ambulance loosing God only knows how much blood and 3 liters of blood at the hospital. That dentist severed my artery in my mouth and almost died from that experience. Needless to say the details and trauma have stayed with me over the years. Fast forward to 2023, I'm a bit older and have learned to adapt to a small degree to maintain the health of my mouth. I was referred to St John Dental in Azusa and couldn't be more happy. The Dr is straight forward about his work and gets it done. He has lovely staff and clearly isn't doing to make as much money as possible like some in the industry. I was able to endure some work like a champ and credit his staff as well as the dentist for assisting me through that process. Not only did they do a great job on my work but are helping me work through, what is a stain of insecurity and PTSD from that past experience. I would absolutely encourage you if you're reading this and need dental work, to put your trust in this office as they're going to make sure you're comfortable and in the know about what they're doing. During my three years as a patient under Delta Care insurance, I experienced several issues that have caused me significant distress and long-lasting pain: - Molar Extractions: Despite my initial request for a referral to a specialist, Dr. Daragobian performed two molar extractions herself. I believe the aggressive technique used and an apparent overfilling of bone graft material resulted in three months of severe pain before the tissue could properly heal. - Lack of Proper Care: I was concerned that no anesthesia was provided during certain procedures. Additionally, my gums were drilled during treatment, which caused further lasting pain. - Inadequate Cleanings: During several scheduled cleaning appointments, at times only polishing was performed. This lack of thorough cleaning led to significant tartar build-up over time. - Secondary Damage: I believe that hasty adjustments made to a new crown and the aggressive nature of the extractions caused two adjacent crowns to disintegrate roughly a year later. While I appreciated the professional atmosphere of the office and the personal kindness of the staff, the clinical results and the physical pain I endured were unacceptable. I ultimately realized that these extractions and the subsequent loss of crowns may have been avoidable with different care.
