Yesterday I called explaining my situation and the troubles I had had at another salon close by. I talked to Amanda and she took the time to explain all their prices and what they could do for me. She was so sweet and I really appreciate everything that she did for me. I came in today and dealt with Amanda at the front desk! She was so amazing! She and her boss had already came up with a plan for me so that I was comfortable paying A designated amount. I was so happy to hear that they would match the price I was paying at the other salon. This is truly great service! When I came in today she had my account already and I just had to sign a few papers. She took the time and showed me around the salon and explained all the services they offered. I was really happy with getting to know about everything there was to offer in the salon. When I signed up for my membership not only did they do an amazing price match but they through in a big moisturizer and other fun things for me to have with my membership. The beds were amazing as well! They were super new and the air pressure was really nice. Instead of coming out of a tanning bed sweaty and disgusting I came out feeling refreshed and clean. I barely even sweat. I'm excited to explore other services they have to offer in the future. I highly recommend this salon. They will work with you and make you feel comfortable about coming in and buying a package. They are great girls and I look forward to spending my ears Tammy here. read more

I was told this place was really good and everyone was so friendly, which was true the first couple days I came in and signed up. I signed up the very last week of January and was told I don't have to pay till March because my payment was for February. The next week after I signed up they over charged me $40, which was February 3rd. I talked to the manager and she said she cant look back and see peoples payments which is not true. The manager then started giving me the worst attitude towards me and insisted to delete my account when I only said to freeze it. This place has no customer service at all with their customers. There are many better places people should go to because I cant believe how they treated me. read more

Just used a group on for this place! Stephanie was the one that helped me, and she is so nice. She didn't treat me any different because of a groupon -- That's usually one of my top concerns when using deals at a business. I can't say how this compares to any other tanning places because this is my first one. But, regardless, I think this place has great prices, and they deliver their services well. Stephanie answered all my questions and gave me instructions on how the tanning bed works. The entire place has nice aesthetics and decorations. I think the booths could be separated by a thicker wall, but i'm only in there for 10 minutes away, so not a concern at all. I'll be going there all month, and I will be definitely purchasing another month with them if their customer service continues to be great! read more

I had a monthly membership since January 2012. In August, I cancelled my account - or so I thought I did. I wasn't expecting any charge from them in the months following so I didn't have much money in the account tied to my debit card. In November, I had some extra spending money so I put more money into that account. I was then charged the monthly $66 that I thought I cancelled. When I noticed it, I called the store to ask what happened. The first gal I spoke with made it seem like I actually owed more money. She then got a manager who first tried to tell me that it hadn't been a year since I started my membership so I wasn't able to cancel. Pretty sure it's been over a year since I signed up in January 2012. She laughed it off and basically said oops. She said she would look into it and call me back. A week later, I hadn't heard anything so I went into the store. I spoke with a gal who was probably the most apologetic out of everyone I dealt with. She wrote a note for a manager and said someone would call me back. Now to today. I called and asked to speak with a manager. I was told she wasn't in yet but that a message would be left for her and she would call me. I hadn't heard from anyone so I decided to go in. It was the same manager who I spoke with two weeks ago. She said she called me and left a message. I told her I never got one. She said that since there wasn't any paperwork on my cancellation, there was nothing they could do but offer me free tans. All I want is my money back. This manager basically made it seem like I was lying about signing a cancellation form and that because I wasn't charged in September that maybe I assumed that I cancelled without actually doing it. Generally in customer service, it's not advisable to tell a customer she's lying. While it may be the official policy to not refund money (which means it's the owners fault and not the managers), I am completely unsatisfied with the way the situation was handled. It boils down to "oops we lost your paperwork and charged you but we aren't going to refund your money. How about a tan?" This is a seriously poor policy that needs to be corrected. And from some other reviews, it looks like I'm not alone. read more

I have been a member of Endless Summer for over 6 years. The beds are clean and the staff members are friendly and helpful....HOWEVER....recently it has been unbearably hot in there!! I have complained to the staff about the air conditioning and they tell me that the owners are in discussion with Edison. If the owners are just trying to save dollars..they are not!! I would say that every day that I go to ES, I see people walk in and immediately walk out saying its WAY too hot in here !! You are loosing business AND having 4-5 fans on blowing hot air around....not efficient!! I feel sorry for your staff...who are all melting!! Please consider turning on the air...before we all seek out other places to tan!! read more

The girls that have helped me are very nice, Cynthia Mia and Stephanie - they are all very sweet and are very helpful with a new tanner such as myself. I feel very comfortable coming here. They do NOT stand behind them. I used a new brand 90$ and ended up with severe burn and had to go to the doctor. After numerous calls for a refund or replacement they refused. I have been going to this tanning salon for several years, mostly because it is the only one in the area with any sort of selection. The facility in PH is smaller than their Ventura location but clean non the less. The staff is great, cheerful, polite, welcoming, sweet; I could go on for ever. The staff would earn five stars in my book. But my deduction of stars are based on the ridiculous pricing on tanning, lotion and other products. I have tanned across the county and this is as expensive as tanning in New York. They have a good lotion selection, bronzer, tingle, accelerators, and moisturizers. They offer Mystic spray tans and wraps. Exfoliate before a spray tan. And drink gallons of water before a wrap. Wraps are expensive but on occasion you can catch them on groupon. If you're looking to tan indoors in the area this is the only place I would suggest. read more

The staff is sweet and helpful. they didn't try to upsell me on a better package or lotions. Usually they are great...today they put me in room 7 which I have never been. The bed sucked and had zero air flow. So as I'm getting out I realize they had downgraded me. I pay almost $90 a month mind you. So when I brought it to there attention the girl looked up my account and all she said was oops! I expected they would offer an upgrade next time around but that was all they could say. Maybe the management should teach their staff some better customer service. If there was another tanning salon in this town I would be switching. Not to mention their beds are way outdated. Even the best beds they claim to offer. Sad. read more

I have tanned at Endless Summer as well for over 20 years. They have the best tanning beds in Ventura county. I have had nothing but good experiences each and every time I go in. I currently have an unlimited package to tan in the highest level bed available. I personally have had some unexpected circumstances that forced me to freeze my account. I have had no issues, I filled out the proper paperwork as there are cut off dates and was told when it would freeze and when it would unfreeze. I have had to do this a few times in my 20 years as a customer and have never had a problem. I have many friends including military that I have referred to the salon. They have also deployed and moved to new duty stations. Endless Summer in my opinion, based on my experience has the up most respect for all of its service members and has worked with my personal friends that serve in the Navy and are very loyal to Endless summer. At first I was skeptical because I thought tanning was mainly for chicks, but once I got in there, I realized that many guys tan as well.
