EVERY TIME I GO TO TAN THERE IS ONE PERSON WORKING AND IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET IN A BED. They will be dealing with a client who is talking or complaining and they can't even ask the client if they mind letting me go ahead and tan....For how much you pay to tan here there should be TWO staff on duty at all times. I've also made appointments early in the morning and every time I have the ONE person they're probably paying shit to work is late. I've been going to Endless Summer for almost a year now. First and foremost, it's spotless clean. They take their sanitation protocols seriously. All the ladies are very friendly and helpful every single visit. They have monthly specials and I usually opt for the cyclone stand up tan booth. The prices are reasonable, if you visit 10 times in a month it's about $10 per tan. Plus you get add on of leg tanner or other services included in the monthly rate. My first time here, I always tan a month before going on vacation. Love this tanning salon! They sure do have a lot to offer! Lots of spa type things but I'm only interested in the tanning... this place is nice, cute Hawaiian vibes/decor, very clean, seems like they have many different tanning bed options-my preference is the cyclone stand up capsule, I've been tanning in the stand ups for over a decade! Great color in the cyclone, fan works good too. Theirs is kind of small-not much room inside compared to the other tanning salon I went to. They offer a great deal for a 1 month unlimited tans package!! Sadly they do not take appointments but they do offer a level up if it's in use with more than 5 minutes to go. I tried a level 3 bed one day because all the other level up ones were in use. It was ok. Not as much color as the stand up. Definitely recommend coming here! read more

Not sure what has happened recently, but paid extra for the more expensive spray tan and the extra whatever to shower sooner-and it was the worst spray tan I've ever had. I was spotted within a day of the spray tan. Not only did it not last even half as long as they stated-it didn't even last a day. Super disappointed. I've been (trying) to self tan for years and I can't apply any product evenly so I decided to let the booth do it for me, and this is my favorite place to go. Friendly, helpful staff, and if I go during my lunch break on the weekday usually no wait at all. The challenges this is the only place in town and because of that their prices are sky high. $99 for a rap is not reasonable. We used to get these all over LA for $25 apiece. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be going to a tanning salon, let alone reviewing one. I was going to Hawaii and told I had to get tanned or she wouldn't be seen on the beach with me. Endless Summer is close to my home so I went here. I am so glad I did. Every one of the employees loves their job here and it shows in the excellent customer service they give. The place is immaculate and the décor is straight out of 1960's Hawaiian surfing. I got a membership because I use the Hydro Massage every day after I go to the gym. This is the perfect place for college students because the prices are reasonable and the products available are relevant to a diverse clientele which if you live in Ventura.... It's diverse af here ! So damn disappointed with this place. I've been coming here for literally YEARS with no issues. I took a 2-3 month hiatus because my mom passed away; it was really hard for me to leave the house. During that time, I allowed them to keep charging me, never froze my account or anything. I come in today at literally 3:08pm and they want to charge me a fee for being "outside my window" (I pay for a membership that is from 11am-3pm). Seriously? I always pay for upgrades, buy their high priced lotions, considerate to their employees... but seriously?!! Everything shouldn't be so black and white in business. There are times where you should just be flexible and kind to the customer. This has me so bummed and frustrated as I really did like Endless Summer and raved about them to everyone. I like this tanning salon better than the other one in Ventura. There is only two in this city. I moved from Woodland Hills and the options and prices were better , so I was spoiled. The decor is very cute and exactly what you would expect for a tanning salon. I first came here for a 3 for 1 groupon deal on Mystic Tan or Versa Spa (I only use Versa Spa, it is much better in my opinion). Each time I came before my wedding for the spa, the girl was friendly and informative. No wait for walk ins. The rooms were clean and secure, and roomy which is nice bc some salons have tiny rooms that you gotta work with naked and its just uncomfortable, so that was a nice touch. The rooms contain informative and up to date posters of how to use the machines and the girls will instruct you as much as you like if need be. Each room contains barrier cream & wipes (if you forgot to remove your deoderant!), and extra towels if you need it. There are also 2 hampers, 1 for trash & 1 for towels with lids so things are orderly and clean. The price for a spray tan is $42 but you can get it for $40 if you check in. Also like I mentioned before there are groupons you can find online. Reason for 4 and 5 stars is that the groupons do expire and they do not inform you of when. So just be aware of that when you go using the groupon. Only 1 of mine expired and I think is was 90 days, but Im not exactly sure. The Tan Experience: I am an avid spray tanner. Cali is great for sun, but I prefer not to risk skin cancer so I used to spray weekly up in SF using a salon w/ VersaSpa so I wanted to find another when I moved to VTA. The groupon is what brought me to Endless Summer and it happens to be very close to my home. The machine worked great & lasted the usual 1-2 weeks for a good color, 3 if you only do it once (events). I only use the clear solution (I like to watch myself get dark in about 4-6 hours, typically leave it on for 8, darkest if I sleep in it). I think the clear solution is better than bronze because it doesnt ruin your clothes and it smells better. If you have tanned before you know what I am talking about when it comes to the tan smell. VersaSpa recently updated its solutions so the smell is actually MUCH BETTER than it was before. Ive been to ES 3 times now, each tan was perfect and lasted the usual amount and the machines appear to be regularly cleaned & maintained so no streaks. I will definitely be back! read more

Having been a customer and a former employee of Endless Summer I can say this salon is truly the best. First, the owners treat their employees fairly and they run a tight ship. Anything less than perfect is not acceptable and grounds for retraining or a write up. Insider info, they regularly get the bulbs changed, clean the beds thoroughly, offer competitive pricing, and make customer service #1 priority. Second, as a customer. I have had free upgrades whenever the beds are full, their spray tans are perfection, their beds have the best options, and I feel my patronage is valued. The girls are always great, they are knowledgeable and extremely helpful! Take it from someone who worked there and is still a customer, can you say these things about all of your previous jobs? This is probably my third or fourth positive 5 star review of Endless Summer...I have to review once more their newest addition...Airbrushing! This method is fantastic! You are immediately dark, and the color turns rosey by the second day. There are no streaks or runs, and the product smells wonderful! There Friendly staff and clean atmosphere really keep me coming back here. Every year my partner and I take a vacation, this time around we are going to Las Vegas. Of course, I didn't want to join the pool parties with my pasty complexion so we knew exactly where to go to make sure we were bronzed and ready to party. Endless summer also frequently has deals on Groupon that are fantastic, but they go very quickly, this time we got to experience the Level 3 stand up booth that ensured we didn't have any tan lines. The machine it self is superb, its fast 8 mins daily, and it has fans so you dont overheat. Called to inquire about the beds and the young lady that answered the phone on April 28 around 10:30 am was very rude. I took my business to Tan LA and purchased an unlimited membership for an entire year plus products. Management or owner should teach their employees customer service because Endless Summer just lost a potential client who wanted a simple tan, but ended up going to another business and spending more that $1200! **UPDATE** Received a phone call from the manager (who remained nameless, for whatever reason) stating that they would refund me half of the over $500 that the business owed me and would make up the rest in in-store credits (who wants to use a business that ripped them off??). Now I work incredibly hard for my money and $500 may not seem like a lot of money to some people but it is to me. Even though I was told I would be receiving a check for approximately $274.00 it has been almost 3 months and I STILL have not received anything from endless summer. I called the store looking for the manager again and of course no one was around. Liars!!!! say law was passed that maximum time for all beds is 10 for every single session! I know fact that maximum for basic bed is 20 min and 12 for the basic standup. I will never return and i recommend finding a different salon that offers full time every visit. Your allowed 10 min ur first visit but after that you can increase up to 20 minutes. I was not told my tans would expire. in 2010 I became very ill and could not tan for over a year. when I called to schedule a tan, I was told they are gone! spoke to management and owner and this is what I was told and I quote "we can't do anything for you" they are expired.
