I got my hair done here for my wedding and I wish I hadn't. I have never had a worse experience at…read morea hair salon. I was made to feel like my hair was a problem. I found that the ladies who worked here were very negative and quite frankly rude both to us and when we were not there, but people in our party were still there to overhear their comments. Everyone in my bridal party who got their hair done there had bobby pins falling out and pieces of hair falling out before we had even gotten to the church in Ottawa which was really upsetting. My hair was also falling out and had gone flat before we made it there. It put a damper on my day and I will not be returning there or recommending them to people.

So this is an awkward review to post -- bc it's embarrassing lol but I've been really happy with…read morethe results so I want to share. I was really nervous to start my laser treatments on my legs and bikini. I am mixed with tanned skin and very dark and coarse hair. So I was (1) scared of the pain and (2) scared of getting burned. Well now I'm on my fifth treatment, and yes it did hurt, but not as much as I thought and it got better and better each treatment. And even though I'm not done my series yet, my legs are dramatically smoother. I can't be happier with Silde's work. She is honest, patient and very experienced. I used to have next day stubble on my legs, and now they can stay non-prickly for about a week bc the hair is thinner and softer and there's just way less of it lol. And I'm only half way through! Super excited! And now that I feel comfortable with her and the results, I have opted to do my arms and underarms. Watch out summer 2017!! This Sexy Sphinx is coming your way

After a quick skin analysis, we got started with a tailored facial. Kamla explained every step as we went, and gave great advice without being pushy or trying to upsell anything. Being the worst relaxer of ever, I'm not good at unwinding, so I'm very much a chatter. we had a nice talk while she worked away... Between masks/steps, Kamla gave a relaxation massage, which really elevated the whole experience from great to amazing. My skin is positively glowing, totally hydrated and smooth, smooth, smooth! This was just what I needed and I can't wait to go back again!

I've been to Teal twice. My spouse & I have had mixed experiences. I gave Teal two stars because…read morethe experience is erratic and seems to depend on which of the two women we've encountered there you end up working with. Unfortunately I don't know both of their names. In our first visit, we both had pedicures. The young woman working on my feet and calves did a wonderful job. My toenails are difficult to work with but she managed to make them look fine. The calf and foot massage were extraordinary. My spouse was cared for by Sima, and I assume she's the manager or franchise owner because she was so distracted. My spouse did not get nearly as good care as I did. My spouse had some waxing done and says the product they use is much less painful than other salons and spas. The second trip to Teal was, essentially, the same in that we both got pedicures but then my spouse got a massage while Sima gave me a manicure. I had Sima for the pedicure, as well. I had the same experience as that reported to me by my spouse. Sima was dashing about the salon and spent far less time on my legs and feet. The experience with the manicure was much the same, I was often left hanging while she dashed about. The massage, I'm told, was exquisite and the only reason to go back. The young woman who massaged my spouse was not a registered massage therapist, but she did an excellent job finding muscle tension and releasing it. The massage, and possibly the waxing, would be the only reason to return.
