OC's Best Neighborhood Shopping Center: Enderle Center in Tustin! www.mustseeinoc.net
    Farland C.

The Enderle Center. Locals describe it as Orange County's best kept secret. Ranked as OC's best neighborhood shopping center. And who was the inspiration? The late Al Enderle. One of Tustin's favorite sons. A man of faith and warmth who locals describe as one the most inspiring and endearing business leaders you'll meet. Here's his "must see story" from the business magazine show called "Must See in OC." (SU) OC's Best Neighborhood Shopping Center? Enderle Center ...  https://youtu.be/6tv-_97cjnA

I've been to this location a couple of times, including today. I can't speak to its heyday, but for…read morewhat it is right now, it's totally fine. It's a very practical neighborhood shopping center -- a convenient one-stop spot with everyday essentials, restaurants, and new stores currently under construction. I'd encourage people to continue supporting it. Not every shopping center needs to be a major destination like the Irvine Spectrum. There's value in having diversity in shopping options and experiences, especially places that simply serve the daily needs of the surrounding community. Major anchor stores still operating: Walmart Supercenter Trader Joe's Sprouts Farmers Market HomeGoods Ross Dress for Less Ulta Beauty 24 Hour Fitness PetSmart CVS Pharmacy Food spots still active nearby: Cava Sourdough &Co. Olive Garden Panera Bread Chipotle Mexican Grill The Habit Burger Grill Panda Express McDonald's

Then you have the expanded Trader Joe's and a Sprouts sharing a common parking lot, so all your food needs are met. Ulta has returned, but to the same place Party City was. Overall, the mall is coming back to life, even though the indoor mall is gone. A couple of things to know. You can't drive the length of the place in the back anymore, as the property, once owned by JCPenney, is completely fenced in, blocking your path and at least the old entrance to the back parking lot. The other is that even though there's a sign that says "Panda Mart", there is zero activity when you look inside the store. Sears still owns that property and building, so that's on them. In fact, if you walk down the path between Home Goods and 24 Hour Fitness, you'll see all that is left of the old mall. That's because Sears owns that section and didn't opt to tear it down. Between Home Goods, Walmart, and some food eateries, I find myself coming here more often than I realized. Maybe not as much when there was a full indoor mall, but not by much. BTW: If you go to their website (as of this review), it looks like they didn't renew their hosting agreement, so it's gone. That's a bummer because the map always showed what was coming soon.

This shopping district is unique that it encompasses all the businesses, shops, and restaurants…read morethat a regular shopping district would have, but it also incorporates on the peripheral of the district shops which has their respective business owners living directly above there business. There's definitely pros and cons living directly above your own business. Pros: - no commute - never late - tax deduction for home being a business Cons: - clients/customers know where you live!!! I digress. So this shopping district is conveniently close to many homes, businesses, and roads. With that said it's very popular during Lunch and dinner therefore parking can take awhile. The main anchor store is Mother'sMarket. then there's Bank of California, a variety of satellite shops(photography, grooming, accounting etc), and small eateries. Sadly, there aren't many larger upscale restaurants. It looks as if there was a McCormick and Schmidt's, but it's closed I usually come here for the food court. It's been around for over a decade. Through the years I've seen various businesses come and go. I used to come here just for this great sandwich joint (Paninoteca Maggio) that made a delicious porchetta sandwich. Despite being so close to the Main Place mall it seems to hold its own with the locals. Tips: -If you're visiting the area and are nearby I definitely recommend grabbing a bite at the food court. My top three(in no particular order) -The Habit -DonerG -Curry house(Japanese) If you just crushed a workout, come by and grab a shake at the Muscle Maker Grill!
