After a few months of changing my mind as to what I wanted to do with my floor I finally made up my mind. If I was Maureen I would have thought, "Oh God here he comes again" when I walked into the store. After Maureen came to my place and did all the measuring she emailed me a quote the next day and thanked me for allowing her to come to my home. ice.Really? No need to thank me but thats so nice! She walked me through the install process with their counterparts Windmill Flooring and I have to say the two day install all be it a little stressful for my 4 paw wonder was pretty much flawless. My career has, and still is based on customer service which seems to be disappearing these days but if Maureen is a reflection on the rest of your staff then you guys arent going anywhere anytime soon! Not the greatest selection of materials when it comes to cabinets, but the price was very good on…read moreeverything. We saved a ton of money on the countertop especially through them. For example, there were less than 20 options for the cabinet design/colour/material, and they could not be customized that much. But again, the countertop had a massive selection and even though we selected a more basic/budget one, it worked out really well in the end. Their team handled the installation and heavy lifting (and I mean heavy, they lugged everything up a flight of stairs with no complaints). Would definitely go with them again in the future.

The drawers are soft closing with wood sides and dove tail joints. We were able to do some customization to meet our needs with slightly deeper upper cabinets and a wall cabinet that was on a diagonal by the phone. We also put door panels on the ends of all the cabinets for aesthetics. It took over 10 visits to finalize the design plans . Our salesperson Andy was extremely patient and helpful to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. The installer came on time and did an excellent job. He was very precise and experienced. He was even able to add another shelf to our pantry the day of install. Much appreciated. We recommend Vancouver Cabinets due to their quality and price. We saved a lot of money using Vancouver Cabinets.

The guys are really nice and very trustworthy. We even left them keys to let themselves in and get started on the work while we were out. Really made our 2 room and hall basement carpet purchase and install a very easy transaction. *The installer noticed a colour line running through the carpet (it was sold as an "irregular" product) he offered to mention it to Jenn to see if she would give a discount. I was happy to hear from JENN - she offered me a % back on the carpet. I felt I had to mention that it was sold as an "irregular" and Jenn said she wanted us to be happy so we were thrilled ! Compared to other "discount" flooring outlets (who wouldn't even give me a sample of the flooring I was interested in), Jordans, their installer and JENN Brooks were very professional and went above and beyond. Our carpet still looks new. As a basement project we were on a budget, but they had high- end, beautiful products also. (Install May, 2015)

Jordans Flooring (Burnaby) installed flooring in our apartment in 2017. The workmanship was poor,…read moreand even after an attempted fix, issues remained. Transition pieces were not properly glued down, baseboard nails were not set flush, and the caulking was poorly done--problems that are still visible today. I lived with these issues for years because fixing them once was not enough and I did not want to deal with the issue again. The manager at the time did offer me a partial refund so I didn't ask for a 2nd fix. In hindsight I should have. Recently, I re-engaged Jordans because I need to redo my flooring. Engaging with the current store manager I was told in person that we would be "taken care of" and "hooked up" because of the 2017 experience. What followed was a 10¢/sqft price reduction (about $55 total). When I raised this marginal discount, the alternative offered was removing recommended services of leveling and voiding warranty. This process wasted significant time and did not rebuild confidence with Jordan's. We chose another contractor.

I had a good experience with Refresh when they cleaned my multi-coloured wool rug and got it very…read moreclean and bright. So when I had a dreadful accident and spilled grease on my sofa, I called them. The receptionist was very nice and explained how there was a 70% chance of success, but she also warned me there was no guarantee. I liked her honesty. Ken came over and spent a full hour, using an extraction process with powerful truck-mounted hoses. The result was not known until the following morning. The stains were improved, but not gone. I called Refresh and they were very happy to dispatch Ken for a second (free) visit. This time he did not use the hoses, but patiently applied and reapplied a solution, each time using an absorbent cloth to lift the moisture. It worked! The aggressive grease stains are entirely gone. Refresh is a very professional, honest company. Ken is amazing! He is knowledgeable, competent, and friendly. I am going to have Ken come back on a regular basis to clean my carpets. Don't look any further for a carpet cleaning company. Refresh is the BEST.
