While I was getting my pedicure, a large brown roach crawled across the platform, I said to my nail tech: "do you think we should let the receptionist know about the visitor?" She laughed nervously and said "it's disapppeared now we will handle that when you get out of the chair." The lack of urgency and complacency was concerning to me, it signals to me that they have those large roaches often and may or may not be doing anything about it. To make matters worse I looked to their waxing room, and there was another large roach laying dead on its back. In addition to that, a health inspector walked into the salon as I was leaving. This may be routine, but it did raise additional red flags, considering the roaches. Overall, the pedicure itself is mediocre, nothing to write home about. The foot massage was great! Probably the best part of the pedicure. Joyce did great on that. After reviewing their price menu, I was surcharge an additional $10 on the $55 pedicure (making my total $65) for some inexplicable reason. Would I return or recommend this place? Not at all. The greatest irony is on the door of the salon, the logo reads: "Sanitary and safe" that should've been the first sign there for me!

When I enter the salon, the woman tells me that she works at dawn and at the time that the clients request, taking into account that she sees herself as a hard-working woman, I congratulate her for her great work and hard work. The woman starts doing the pedicure without first cleaning the work tools, she does everything very quickly and starts to inquire about my personal life, she repeatedly asks me what my job is, and asks if the car I rented is mine, I shared with her that I was coming to celebrate my birthday in Miami, the woman in a very aggressive attitude does not listen to my instructions about the way I like my nails, she threatened to call the police even though I have refused to pay her, she refused to give me the service, she diagnosed me with mental illness, and compared my demands with her own mother which denotes a serious problem in her service. The woman mentions that she lacks patience, creating a series of prejudices and accusations against me for asking her how I wanted my nails done. The woman mentions having 20 years of experience, and this gives her the right to do her job without listening to how the client feels. I request that this information be delivered through my legal representative to a complaint in the Department of Health and all legal instances and determine these treatments, accusations and under service with tools outside of hygiene and safety for people. I agreed and arrived at 1:45 PM as requested. I sat down with the nail tech, she wrapped my nails in preparation for the dip. By approximately 2:15 PM, my nails were ready to be dipped. At that point, the nail tech told me that I was no longer on her schedule and that she could not finish my nails because the manager took my name off. The owner's brother-in-law, who sits in the first seat in the front, came over and told me that the nail tech could not finish my nails since she had already started them. I was told that the reason for the scheduling issue was that the nail tech had been overbooked. Huge scheduling problem that this business has. What made the situation even more upsetting was the way the manager/owner spoke to me. He was extremely rude and repeatedly told me that he did not care that I had been coming to the salon for over 10 years. I explained that my mother and I have been loyal customers of Lili for many years, but he continued to be dismissive and said that he did not care about how long I had been a customer. I understand that scheduling mistakes can happen, and I am usually very understanding when things go wrong. However, I was specifically asked to arrive 15 minutes earlier because of nail techs 3:00 PM appointment. I arrived at the requested time, followed the salon's instructions, and had already started my service when I was suddenly told that I was no longer on Diana's schedule. The scheduling mistake was not something I caused, yet I was made to feel as though my appointment and my years of loyalty to the salon were insignificant. The way I was spoken to was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. After more than 10 years of being a customer, I expected to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Regardless of the scheduling issue, there was no reason for a manager/owner to repeatedly tell a long-standing customer that he did not care about her loyalty. Unfortunately, because of the rude and disrespectful behavior I experienced from someone in a customer-service position, I will not be returning to the salon. Customer service should be based on respect, professionalism, and basic manners, and that is not what I experienced during this visit. This business does not deserve my hard earned money. I am extremely disappointed that after more than 10 years of being a loyal customer, this is how I was treated.

I've gone three times: first visit was fine, second was bad, third was the worst. Staff were arguing in their language in front of customers, using profanity and discussing money issues. It's supposed to be a relaxing place, not somewhere to listen to their drama. I won't be returning.
