At 330pm (initial call at 9am) I called back expecting to have my window missing overnight, only to learn that they had taken the initiative and purchased the glass without my confirmation. I was then able to head to the shop where the service was completed. The service itself was top shelf with a high attention to detail and standard. The whole experience was a pleasure and the price, especially in the context of the accommodation and Ronin taking the risk of ordering the glass, was to put it lightly reasonable. The owner is liability to the business and his gut reaction is to start screaming at you. Eventually everything got settled but not before he screamed absurd things like "You used my ink!!! You used my paper!!! How do I make money on this?" and refused to return my car unless I paid him even though I didn't move forward with the quote. I admittedly left the car there too long (14 days after our final conversation) and had he calmly explained to me that he had stored my car and that it was fair to be paid for that (or better yet, called me and was like "Hey, can you please move your car",) in a rational way, instead of starting the conversation with "How DO I MAKE MONEY?" we could have found our way to a reasonable conclusion without spiking poor Sam's blood pressure which I'm sure is through the roof. Here are 3 auto body shops within a 1 minute drive all rated 4.9-5 stars that I'd go to first: - Northwest Collision Center - Ryding Auto Body - Castle Auto Body Additionally, he told me the car was worth only $500 in the damaged state it was in which JUST HAPPENED to be exactly the amount he wanted for storing the car. I ultimately got $1500 for it and I think he was just trying to intimidate me into abandoning the car.

The job itself only took about 45 minutes (as scheduled), and I was able to work on my laptop in the waiting room in the meantime. Initially, I was a little skeptical given the really affordable price point, but the work was professionally completed and my new windshield has held up well (1 month later and so far so good). The owner even accidentally misquoted me $20 less than what I should've been quoted (due to a miscommunication re: a rain sensor), but he honoured the price he initially gave me via RAQ given our conversation / text receipts. It was working perfectly fine the night before, but it's not working after the installation. They kept saying that I need to go to BMW and get the sensor reset, but when I called BMW service and explained the whole situation, they said there is no such thing as resetting the rain sensor. I was very disappointed with their attitude and customer service and one of the guys who did the installation pointed at my car and said "for me, this is 'GARBAGE' I did Tesla and Lamborghini and never had issues in the past 27 years" and tried to say that they didn't brake the sensor. Poor customer service. It's been about a month and a half since I got my windshield replaced, but I can't get a hold of anyone from the shop now. Peter, the guy who was really "nice" before getting my work done, is now ignoring all my text messages. He emphasized how their quality is so good and they offer country-wide lifetime warranty, but there's water leaking from the windshield and they're avoiding my calls/messages. ---------------Update (Screenshot Attached)-------------- First of all, thanks Peter for avoiding my calls and text messages and reaching out to me ONLY BECAUSE I left a negative review online. With Sun and cold, the filling could fall out with windshield wipers. Yes I used the wipers 3 days prior! They said they will take 20 mins to refill it free of charge! They will cancel my insurance claim! This is great service! I bought the best wipers from them 5 months ago. A month ago they started making noise as the wipers moved upward. They said they would investigate it for me. It turns out the person who installed it removed a thin adapter so the wipers were loose. They put in an adapter and it is now quiet. No charge. They also have a coffee/tea/hit chocolate machine you can use while waiting.

Visibility was already poor and the wiper caused a real driving hazard. Not knowing the area and driving almost blind, we luckily found this Speedy Glass (Kipling Ave) and were greeted by Jack! After hearing what occurred he asked us to have a seat in the warm waiting area. Jack quickly looked at the wiper and said it was a minor quick fix. I believe he replaced the nut that holds the wiper pivot? Jack sent us on our way safe and sound within minutes. We cannot offer enough appreciation for Jack's knowledge and kindness.
