Directly off of that was a small, dining area. A small but adequately equipped kitchen. 2 bedrooms. 2 baths, which always comes in handy. Since we were going to be there for a month, brought all necessities. Close to nice restaurants ("Uncle Sal's, Carlsbad Tavern, The Side Door, Oregano's....the list goes on.) Had a great time here for a month.

Guest parking is almost nonexistent, and many residents are forced to park far away or risk getting towed. Management needs to take this issue seriously and offer real solutions, whether it's assigning additional carport spots, lowering garage rates, or adding more spaces. Until then, I can't recommend this complex to anyone who owns multiple cars per unit.

For…read moreinstance, when Felipe was the manager, he didn't want to hear complains or feedback about the property, he was unpredictable and unapproachable. Gloria, his mother, who is currently the manager will send you late payment letters despite the fact of the rent payment made on time. She won't answer the phone, and won't be there during office hours. Further, she doesn't pay her maintenance crew, so the retention rate is very low. I personally knew someone name Jorge, who worked and didn't get paid for a month. He stopped working afraid he would go through the same situation again (he still didn't get paid, in fact, Gloria called him names and refused to pay him. She's done the same with other vulnerable people who don't know their rights). As a result, the property is NOT well maintained including issues that arise within the property rentals and sanitation issues for the pool. It also took 2.5 months to receive our deposit back, we are glad we don't live there anymore. For the amount they charge for rent, you can find a community that will do its part. The pros of living in this property is the location close to 101 and 51 hwy.
